We had a great stay at Coconut Cove and would definitely consider staying again! The location was fantastic—close to several beautiful beaches, and being able to rent a golf cart made getting around the island so much easier than driving. Parking was a breeze, too. We loved being right on the canal, where we enjoyed fishing off the dock, paddling the canoe, and watching all the different fish. The beds were comfortable, the home was easy to find, and we felt right at home. The host was communicative, and maintenance regularly serviced the pool and outdoor areas, which was appreciated. Most of the house was clean, but there were a few cleanliness issues that could use more attention. We found some extra blankets and linens that appeared to have been used, and some dishes, cups, bowls, and silverware had been put away without being fully cleaned. We simply rewashed everything, but it would be helpful if the cleaning company double-checked these items.A few other small improvements would make an already great stay even better: the alarm system was very sensitive (especially with the sliding doors on windy days), many light switches weren't labeled, making them difficult to figure out, and the hot tub controls were a bit confusing. We also would have appreciated a few basic household essentials for longer stays, like cleaning supplies, salt, pepper, and a few common seasonings.Overall, these were minor hiccups, and they didn't take away from a wonderful vacation.
