Close to beach, boards, and shopping. Three bedroom and two bath second floor condo with 2 queens, 2 twins, and a queen sleeper. Amenities include: wireless high-speed internet, 2 off-street parking spaces (1 garage and 1 driveway), gas fireplace, central air, front and rear decks, outside shower, booster seat, large high-definition TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player, and in-wall 5.1 surround sound. Condo is equipped for family fun rain or shine and high-speed access allows you the freedom to check-in with work if you need to.

*Please no senior weeks.

1st Time in OC

We enjoyed our stay in OC. The place was nice. It comfortably fit my family. It was close to the boardwalk and beach. There were many shops and places to eat. Everything was within walking distance. I am glad a review said to bring your own sheets, bath and beach towels.

Great location and family friendly

Our stay here exceeded expectations. The house itself was well maintained and clean upon arrival. It was kid friendly and had a lot of age appropriate items for our children like a booster seat, sippy cups, small utensils, toys, etc. It had everything we needed to cook meals for ourselves and having the washer/dryer was an added bonus. The location is awesome with the boardwalk and shops on Asbury each only a short walk away. This is somewhere we'd definitely stay again.

Vacation

The property was pretty clean. I didn't know to bring sheets and towels so we had to run out and buy some. The master bed is just ok, should be replaced, at the very least it should have a new mattress pad. Great location!

2nd Time!

This was our second time staying and it was wonderful! I appreciated the updates such as the new flooring throughout the home. Location is great... everything is walkable. It is clean and and I also truly appreciate the responsive homeowners. If you have any questions or concerns they take care of it and respond right away. I would definitely stay again!

Our return to the Pesky Pelican

More than 10 years later, we returned to the Pesky Pelican with our now adult kids! We love the unit and the location! We couldn’t believe how many more shops and restaurants are now available on Asbury Avenue, all at walking distance. Rich is super prompt and responsive as per usual and we really enjoyed our stay! Having swap the carpets for wood was a brilliant move, too! Thanks for having us again!

Great location, clean, many amenities, quick response to questions!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pesky Pelican. Location was a short walk to beach. Close to shops too. Kitchen was well stocked (appreciated the keurig), and there were many extras that came in handy including games, umbrella stroller, shovels, infant chair, pack-n-play, etc. Appreciated convenience of outdoor shower. Clean. The deck overlooking the street was a nice size with a table to eat on. All our questions were answered in a timely fashion. Truly had a marvelous week. Would definitely consider staying there again!

Fabulous!

House was beautiful! The location was perfect to be in close proximity to the beach and boardwalk and to other family members' rental properties. Amenities were great! Well-stocked kitchen! Dressers, mirrors, hangers, blankets were great, as not all owners provide those. Owners weren't kidding about having beach chairs! Deck was lovely. Beach tags were a wonderful bonus. Steps away from The Fractured Prune, Sunrise Café, Bennie's Breads, and a block from Johnny B Goode ice cream parlor. Amazing! Thanks for a wonderful stay in OCNJ, our family's home away from home.

Awesome Condo

The condo when we arrived was clean and meticulously arranged. It had everything one could ask for in a home away from home. The Condo is very centrally located and access to the shore is within a 5 minute walk. The owners were always accessible and available in the event of a need. All the utensils and appliances are new. The balcony is huge and has a 8 people dining table and chairs. Every morning we would gather as a family for our morning tea and on a few nights enjoyed the take out on the balcony in a very relaxed atmosphere. The garage is fully equipped with beach chairs and umbrella for use. Ample parking for 2 cars made this condo very convenient for the family. It is very reasonable for the rental charged and I would add that the hosts are very thoughtful of the renters' needs.

Great Vacation

We truly enjoyed our vacation at this property. Positives include the great location, kind and responsive owners, well equipped kitchen, 2 parking spaces, outdoor shower, large balcony, and a variety of beach items available to use in the garage. We were a 4 minute walk to the boardwalk and beach, and right there on Asbury Avenue. We found the property to be very quiet even though it was close to all the action! My only piece of constructive criticism to note is the carpet in the home was the only thing we found to not be clean (lots of hair). Otherwise, the home was clean. We would stay again!

Family Vacation

Location was perfect. Teens able to walk to boardwalk, and also near great places for breakfast and shopping on Asbury. Well stocked, and appreciated beach chairs and umbrellas. Also loved the large front deck.

Great property!

We had a very nice time staying at this property. It was clean and close to everything. The only downside (although pretty minor) was that being on Asbury, there was a bit more noise from people and construction than desired. We also had trouble with the door codes getting in but once we made contact with the owners, that was resolved. The owner's communication was great otherwise! Other than those items, everything else was wonderful! The property was clean, well equipped, well decorated, and the owners were wonderful! I would stay here again!

Beautiful Home with just a Few Issues

The Pesky Pelican is a wonderful beach house. The decor, furniture, mattresses and location were great! Our family enjoyed our time there. Just a few issues we did not expect when we first arrived….bath mats were still in the washer needed to be dried. Dirty dishes left in the dishwasher and worst of all a shower curtain liner had several black mold places on it! We notified the owners…they were sorry to hear that and would contact the cleaning service. We just had to deal with it. A little disappointed during the extra cleaning practices of Covid!

Great location!

Had a wonderful week at this property on my favorite block on Asbury. House was as pictured - may need some more focus on the cleaning in between families - it was surprisingly dusty with a shower curtain in need of replacement. Found previous tenants old food in cabinets, but otherwise the home and appliances are beautiful. Just needs a little more attention before turning over each week, and then it would likely be perfect for the next week without having to clean it ourselves. Owner was very responsive and gave immediate feedback when emailed. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

The Pesky Pelican is a great place to stay! Walking distance to beach, boardwalk and shopping on Asbury. The kitchen was well stocked and the rest of the condo was just as pictured & described. Will definitely stay again in the future!

This condo was very clean and in close proximity with stores, beach, biking, and things for your sweet tooth. Chairs, 6 tags, sand toys, and one car parking garage is also available. Great place to rent !

Our family has been visiting Ocean City for more than 40 years and it continues to be a special place for us. Our location on Asbury Ave is the perfect location. We are close to the beach/boardwalk and also have the luxury of being able to walk to the shops on Asbury.

For those days when the weather doesn't cooperate, we have a high-definition TV with a Blu-Ray player and 5.1 in-wall surround sound.

For the days when you need to check-in to work...we offer free broadband and wireless internet.

Our favorite local ice cream shop (Johnny B. Goode's) is just 1 block down the street (ask for the Butterfinger Arctic Swirl!).
