"Ukailele" is a 2nd floor 2bed/2bath, sleeps 6. Beachfront in Cayman kai. Screened in patio centrally located on complex with best views of the beach. Minutes to Rum Point. Kaibo Yacht Club Bar & Restuarant with reasonably priced food beachside or a fine dining experience on the upstairs balcony. Quiet complex for escaping it all. We recently bought this place after wanting a spot on this side of the island for 20 years. This is where the affluent Caymanians go to escape. This is also our vacation home, so extra care has been given to make this a great, comfortable, hassle free experience for every member of the family. We like to go up on weekends, watch the kids play in the pool and on the beach from our balcony. In the evenings we sit out watching the Caribbean Sunsets, while blending margaritas, and BBQing fresh fish, kids are inside playing games, or watching DVD's/cable. Steps to easy dining, drinks, and watersports. Extremely safe and friendly environment for everyone. Our young teenage girls walk the beach and go to lunch hassle free. We also have kayaks, paddle board and bikes.

We are so grateful for our vacation at this VRBO in the Cayman Islands. The condo was beautiful with a perfect screened in porch overlooking the infinity pool and ocean. The property is quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and are already planning a return vacation.

Perfect condo for our stay. I loved how close it was to rum point and really enjoy the cayman Kai neighborhood. The screened in porch was perfect for nighttime. On the bay it wasn’t very windy like elsewhere on the island. Starfish live in the bay and were so fun to observe. The only negative is the bay water isn’t that clear blue of the Caribbean and across the bay is light pollution of 7 mile beach. Would definitely stay again as overall, great trip!

Everything was great! Great host, great property, with everything you need to enjoy the beach! Quiet and not crowded. Only downside is that it is located on more of a bay, which is great for wind etc, but once you hit the water the ground is more silt than sand, and the water isn’t the carribean blue. Lots of great spots for that nearby! Rum Point is great food and snorkeling and sunsets, Spotts beach was great snorkeling for turtles, and smiths barcadere was all around awesome snorkeling, swimming, views and a little cliff jumping. I’ve kayaked in a bioluminescence bay but swimming/snorkeling is next level amazing! Private 6 hours with Jah Bless charters was awesome. Contact “C” on FB and choose your adventure… we did fishing, snorkeling, conch diving and stingray city, and picked us up on the dock right there!

This unit was a great size, clean, fully equipped kitchen, great water pressure, great views with easy to control air conditioning. Pool was clean and hot tub was amazing. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms as we travelled with our daughter. Really nice to have a screened-in balcony to dine with no bugs. One negative was that there was only 2 very small, very low beach chairs as we like to experience other beaches and one of us always had to sit in the sand. The owner checked in with us to ensure we did not need anything and to notify us that the power would be out one day for maintenance. Always great to have in-unit laundry.

Great place!

Great place to stay in the Caymans! It is right on the beach and has a great pool as well. Quieter than 7 mile beach which we loved as that meant less tourists. The condo has all the things you could possibly need and there is a supermarket a short drive away. Highly recommend!

Nice condo and area

We loved the location of this condo. Nice quiet side of the island. It was an older condo but it was clean and had all of the things that you would need for a nice vacation. Bikes and kayaks were provided which was a big plus for us.

Highly Recommend!

The condo is in a great location, just steps away from the beach & pool, walking distance to starfish point, a bike ride (or walk) from Rum Point and a short drive to the store. It was well stocked and had everything you need for a great vacation! Mabel was very responsive, kind and went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay! Thank you!

Perfect Vacation

Great stay for our family of 4. My kids loved every minute. Such easy snorkeling and exploring for young kids, and we loved being away from the hustle of the cruise ships. The condo itself was the best equipped condo I have ever stayed in, had everything we needed and more to enhance our stay and the property manager was was very responsive and accommodating with the questions I had. Already trying to figure out when we can come back!

Heaven on earth

An absolutely beautiful property overlooking the pool and beach extremely family, friendly, clean and safe. I’ve stayed out in the Kiabo area several times. This location is my absolute favourite.

Relaxing Getaway!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! The colors and beach decorations fit right in with the location. Water pressure is EXCELLENT! We didn’t eat out once, the kitchen has everything you need. We’ve been to Cayman 4 times in the year and will be rebooking here for our next trip. Great communication with the property owner/manager.

First time to Cayman and really enjoyed it. This is a great place to escape the cold and relax. We liked this quite side of the island away from the crowds and big resorts. The unit had everything we needed including basic seasonings. The host was very responsive to all our questions. Would definitely go back again!

Anniversary celebration trip

Ukailele was a perfect rental- location, outdoor equipment, just everything was great!!! Won’t go to Grand Cayman unless Ukailele is available. Mabel was very responsive and great owner. Highly recommend but leave time for us to come back😱😂.

Wonderful vacation

Our vacation was the perfect combination of adventures and relaxation. We loved the location away from the crowds but in a beautiful area where we felt free to explore. Everyday we walked, ran, swam, biked and kayaked all over Rum Point area. The bikes, paddleboard and kayak were awesome, especially for our teenagers. We did our trip on a budget (with 3 of us in university!) so we picked up groceries in George Town and were able to cook all of our meals in the condo and enjoyed eating on the porch every evening. We have returned a bit sunburnt but grateful, rested and ready for our full lives back at home. Thank you, Mabel and Ukailele for the wonderful experience and the memories!

Safe, tranquail, beautiful, easy 45 minute drive. We love to pack the cooler, kick back and relax. We are building memories with our young kids...and now you can too!
