Read the details carefully before booking. This property did not live up to the listing or the price. The title suggests a private pool, but it is actually a community pool. While disclosed elsewhere, the presentation feels misleading.Communication with management was extremely disappointing. Before booking, I asked about boat docking and trailer parking but could not get clear answers. Policies regarding docking changed after we booked, yet we were never notified—critical information when choosing a lakefront property. We also requested early access simply to park our vehicles because we had rented a yacht, not to enter the house. We were initially told we would have to pay an early check-in fee just to park. Management eventually allowed it because the terms had changed after booking, but only after unnecessary confusion. We were also told we would receive an update about early check-in closer to arrival. No one followed up, and we only learned while traveling there that the policy had changed. The backyard was torn up from renovations and essentially unusable despite being advertised as an oasis. The home also needed a deep clean: dirty grout, large spiderwebs in the vaulted ceilings, and a broken dryer.Overall, we overpaid and the property underdelivered. Misleading presentation, poor communication, changing policies, cleanliness issues, and unavailable amenities made this a very disappointing stay.
