Kamaole Sands #10-205 is a one bedroom two bath unit; equipped with a full kitchen with convection oven, sofa bed, king bed, wireless Internet, two flat-screen TVs, and two DVD players. This unit has the best location in the complex and is closest to the beach. Gorgeous tropical garden and fountain view as well as a view of the beach across the street. Air conditioning in the living room only; ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, iron, and a collection of books. Kamaole Sands #10-205 sleeps four.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
Kamaole Sands is the premiere property in South Kihei. Located across the street from Kamaole Beach III. Whale watch, swim, snorkel, walk miles on the beach and watch the most amazing sunsets imaginable. There are 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, waterscapes, and fountains. There's a fully-equipped gym / workout facility with an amazing view overlooking the pool area. In addition there is a large family style swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, and 10 barbecue areas with shaded picnic tables. Kamaole Sands features four tennis courts (no fee) with a daily drop-in program, Spinshot tennis ball machine, and weekly free clinic by a USPTA Pro. Adult and junior tennis rackets are available to rent with complimentary balls. Kamaole Sands offers 2 pickleball courts; paddles are available for rent and quiet pickleballs are available at no charge. Complimentary parking in a private, well-lit and security patrolled parking lot. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for a fee on a first come, first served basis. Wi-Fi available in most areas and a convenient cyber cafe is in the lobby. Activity area with ping pong, foosball, and other games for all ages -- free lending library. Free Maui News daily newspaper available at the pool area. Every Wednesday, Kamaole Sands hosts a complimentary gathering with live music and hula dancers. Kamaole Sands is centrally located and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. It is also minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

The location and view from the deck was wonderful. The deck had a table with six chairs which made us so convenient to have guests over for a meal. The indoor furnishings were very comfortable and the dishes, towels, bedding and beach supplies were outstanding. Also, a great thank you to whoever cleaned the unit before we arrived. It was by far the cleanest unit we have ever been in. Thanks to rentalsmaui staff for all your help planning and booking our stay See You in April 2024.

Maui Beach Vacation

Wonderful Maui getaway

Very nice unit in key location. Stunning sunset views from private balcony. One of the best beaches with sea turtles and snorkeling right across the street. Comfortable unit with full amenities, including convenience of washer/dryer. Highly recommended!

Amazing location and views!

We love staying at Kamaole Sands. Our rental had everything we needed - from laundry detergent to sand toys. Views from balcony are incredible.

My wife and I had a great experience at this property. It was our first time in Maui and the location was right next to some awesome beaches and in a cool area. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Overall, we had a lovely experience and will be back.

Spacious condo in a great location

Spacious and clean condo. Location is walking distance to beach, and it's also easy entry/exit by car to Kihei Road. Kitchen seems well stocked. Everything was as advertised in the listing. Note: Air condition unit is in family room, so you must leave bedroom door open to get the cool air in that room. Only issue was ice maker did not work. We didn't report it, because we are fine with refrigerated drinks without ice. In regard to check in, it's at 4 p.m., so it was very busy because many people were trying to check in at the same time. Maybe you can check in earlier but just not get into the condo until 4:00. I didn't think to ask that, so I got stuck in the line. Overall a very nice, spacious, clean property.

This resort boasts some of the best landscaping, cleanliness and facilities on the island. The room is stocked with everything you need and the ocean view sunsets from the lanai are absolutely beautiful. Promimaty to the beach, great pools, bbq areas and fountains make this a perfect family getaway. Canā€™t wait to bring ours back to fabulous Kamaole Sands in Maui.

Nice place, could be friendlier.

The place was nice and the description online was correct. One major disappointment was the that the wall AC was only in the living room leaving the bedroom really warm night and day. It didn't help that it was super loud. Very annoying! You would think a place like that would have central AC. Another thing we didn't understand, you would think that in a paradise like this place, the people would be friendlier. It wasn't the case. The office staff was very short and didn't want to be bothered. Zero people skills!

Best location

The condo is located in Kamaole Sands with the incredible view from the lanai. The condo itself is very clean, kitchen has all you need to prepare family meals and enjoy them on the lanai. Great for the family of four. Communication with the manager is easy and timely.

Caution

Many problems when we arrived. Kitchen cabinet door was falling off hinges. Convection oven digital display was not working so impossible to tell time, temp, settings. Tv was not programmed for correct source and cable was not plugged in. Refrigerator malfunctioned second night and all food in freezer was defrosted. Property manager was very helpful in solving these problems but was very frustrating to have to constantly call them. It appears that owner does not visit this property often as some of these issues were obvious.Maui is wonderful but expensive. Guests should expect units to be in good condition. Would be very hesitant to return.

Another Stay in Paradise

Our fifth stay in this facility and our first stay in this particular unit. Our past stays have been in this same building but on the ground floor. The ground floor units are great if you have younger kids but, as our boys are older now, we opted for this 2nd floor unit and we loved it. It was clean and it was as described in the listing. We would stay in this unit again for sure.

Great spot

We felt lucky to book this condo. It was perfect for our small family, just across the street from a great beach with fantastic snorkeling opportunities and small waves that were great for our young kids. Would definitely stay here again!
