This was one of my favorite vacas. The accommodations were so nice, inviting and comfortable. It really did feel like home. The balcony was so relaxing and we enjoyed watching the sun come up and go down. The fireworks on Thursday evening were amazing. A beautiful decor and comfortable beds. This place had just about everything. We would love to come again next year!! Thank you for sharing.

If quiet and relaxing is what you are after look no further

This property was the perfect escape- peaceful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The host was amazing - attentive, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. We especially enjoyed a sushi spot right down the street called Domo Izakaya. Don't miss the Domo Roll appetizer! We loved watching sea turtles near the sandy edge of the beach area, and my husband and son could fish just a few steps away. We loved going to the tide pools down at Norriego Point where you can swim and do some snorkeling. The views from the balcony and bedroom were stunning, and the pool was never crowded. If you're looking for a party vibe, this isn't the place - it's calm, quiet and ideal for relaxing. But if you want a bit more energy in the evening, check out the beach bar at the Fort Walton Island Resort (just park at Rockin Tacos right next door and walk over). They have live music from 6-9 and a chill atmosphere, open to everyone. They also have a food truck or you can order pizza from the bar. Our stay was amazing and we plan on staying again at some point. Thank you, Jeanne, for welcoming us into your lovely home!!

Beautiful Views and Blissful Stay

Our family stayed here for almost a week and Jeanne was amazing to work with. Her unit is absolutely stunning and she made it a point to stay in contact during our stay. We truly felt at home and loved the attention to detail that she provides with her unit. Most meals were spent eating on the balcony watching boats go through the East Pass. This was one of the most relaxing trips we have ever had and we will be back! Thank you, Jeanne, for being such an amazing host and sharing your home with us.

A lovely spot

My wife and I live in Tennessee. This was our second trip to this particular property. That, by itself, says a lot. We come to Destin once a year, usually in late September when the crowds dissipate and weather cools. Luckily, we found this spot last year and we're incredibly pleased all the way around. My wife loves the beach and this property is within walking distance of two of them. She loves sitting by the pool and swimming as well and the pool area here is kept spotless and welcoming. Me, I'm more of a sitting on the balcony, reading, and watching the water and sunsets kind of guy, We were both happy. The condo itself is immaculate. Well-appointed. Jeanne has exquisite taste and that is evident from the moment you open the door to this fabulous place. Lovely as they are, the photos hardly do it justice. You've got everything you need. They make sure you feel at home in their home. If there's the slightest question or concern, Jeanne is always accessible. The maintenance guy on-site is a very decent man who can answer any question you might have about the main property. You'll also feel safe and secure here. We plan to return to this property as often as possible.

Holiday Isle Perfection

We absolutely love staying at Waterview Tower on Holiday Isle. This was our first time staying at Jeanne's property and she is a wonderful and thoughtful host. She went above and beyond to make sure our visit was great. We can't wait to get back to the serenity of Destin again soon!

Spectacular summer boat and beach vacation!!!

We stayed for 7 days and brought our boat!! The condo was absolutely gorgeous and the kitchen was over the top if you cook!!! The 2nd bed room gave my 3 boys ample room to spread out and be comfortable. The views were as it says, stunning! We utilized the boast slip which was very nice and super convenient! We snorkeled, fished, swam, beached!! It was all very very awesome! The owners were beyond helpful and available at our finger tips!! We truly can not wait to return!!

Stunning location, stunning home

Our family of 5 was so impressed with the location/view of this property as well as the cleanliness inside. We have stayed at various vrbo’s and this place was so clean annnnd comfortable at the same time. The beds were so soft - the comforters and linens…also so comfy. I usually don’t sleep well away from home, and neither do my kids. They slept so soundly- and it was amazing for this tired mom haha! The kitchen was well appointed and the home itself was so tastefully decorated. Eating at the large dining table when the wind was super -strong was great, because you can still see the gorgeous water from the dining area. Sitting on the balcony/deck area was an awesome experience for eating or hanging out as well. The dolphins were frequent visitors to the harbor and listening to the waves hit the rip-rap along the beach wall was so beautiful. The owner is so kind and welcoming- I was impressed with our communication vs going through a big company. She answered any questions I had promptly. I also loved that there was no smoking anywhere near this property or the small beach out front. We did walk to the two public beaches- which were very close and convenient. It was chilly while we were there and it was nice to have the option to go to the beach in front of the property or walk “bigger” beach along the mostly protected cove- if you wanted to swim. The pool was warm and great to take advantage of in the cooler spring weather. Thank for sharing your beautiful place w/others!

Not your usual beach condominium!

We have stayed at the end of Gulf Shore Drive (East Pass area) many times; this area, at least for us, has not been as crowded, and there is water on both sides of this stretch of land. We have recently returned from a relaxing week in Jeanne's unit. From the moment we entered, we got the feeling that we were actually in someone's personal home - great care has been taken in the accoutrements, maintenance, and decor. It is apparent that it belongs to someone with taste. This ambience is something that greatly contributes to the entire vacation experience. It is such a lovely and comfortable place, accented by artwork and photography taken by the actual family members. The kitchen is well-equipped both in design and in appliances and tools. There are also beach towels and chairs, which means you don't have to lug all of this stuff from home. I have stayed in VRBO homes in several countries, and this one is the winner. I look forward to returning.

Amazing property and vacation!

Wow! We had a fantastic week at Jeanne's condo! The condo was amazing and had everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay! Especially the kitchen! The view from every room was breath taking. We loved watching the dolphins play and boats passing by in the clear blue water! The beach chairs and umbrellas made trips to the beach easy and convenient. Our boys enjoyed the fitness center and tennis court. The location couldn't be better. The complex is a low density complex, so crowds were never a problem. We were close by many different options for entertainment and dining! I would highly recommend Jeanne's condo! We will definitely be back!

Above and beyond!

If you're wavering, stop and book it! You won't regret it!! We have been to the Destin area several times, but this was by far the best rental we've experienced. Jeanne is amazing! From beginning to end, she was attentive, responsive, helpful and caring. Going above and beyond at times, which is rare. This unit is in the Waterview Towers on Holiday Isle, just adjacent to the Destin Harborwalk, and is a quick elevator ride up one floor. The floor plan of the unit is the best we've seen. Upon entry, you'll notice the love and care Jeanne & David have put into maintaining their vacation home. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There were plenty of throw blankets too. This condo unit was very CLEAN and so was everything in it! The bathrooms were stocked and we enjoyed the use of some items. We liked the "replace it if you use the last of it" mentality. The kitchen was also stocked, which is always a plus. Two closets were full of games and beach towels and supplies. These hosts literally thought of everything! Adding all the comforts of home so that their guests can have a most relaxing vacation. The balcony is huge with plenty of seating and provides a lovely spot to enjoy the dolphins, boats, and gorgeous sunsets! This boutique building only houses 15 units and is well manicured. It was never loud and people mostly adhered to the quiet hours which was nice. There appeared to be fitness and laundry on every floor. The pool area is large and it's adjacent to the private beach area, with white powdery sand, overlooking the ocean. My husband enjoyed surf fishing right on the private beach...just be sure to get your Florida fishing license! The public beaches are just an easy, quick walk away and also very nice. There's a marina across the 2-lane road in front of the building. At times it can be busy with people trying to park for a day at the beach, but this is nothing unusual in Florida. The surrounding area is very safe and you will find plenty of people walking, running, and riding bikes. Holiday Isle is less crowded than Destin but conveniently located to Destin and Okaloosa. You can get to the Destin Harborwalk by car or water taxi (except during the winter). When we return to Destin, we will definitely stay at Jeanne & David's place!!

We were born and raised in New Orleans and have lived many other places in earlier years - Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco but have always return home. After Katrina, I can't imagine living anywhere else except maybe more time in Destin which also has our heart and soul. My husband practices cardiology at a large clinic in New Orleans and I closely manage our condo rentals as I am very particular who I share it with. It is not your typical rental as we leave it with all the amenities of home and a gourmet kitchen as we love to cook and live to eat! I am a retired full time mother, retailer, volunteer devoted to helping bring back our beloved city of New Orleans. IT WAS PURE LOVE at first sight many years ago. We have been going to Destin since we married almost 50 years ago and watched it develop from a sleepy little village to an upscale resort town. A good friend's father had owned our condo since it was built in the early '80's and we would spend time there every year with our children when they were young and just loved it. We used to say if he ever put it on the market we wouldn't look any further and that is what happened. We were in the middle of a major renovation on our home in New Orleans and anxious to finish for our oldest son's wedding. We found out the condo was going on the market and bought it a few days later. It was truly an emotional decision and I doubt we would have bought anything else if it hadn't gone through. We would go there on weekends, leaving painters in our home in New Orleans and spend our time painting and making it our own. While painting, we would just stare at the gorgeous sunsets each night and wonder if we would ever tire of them, which we have yet to and still thrills us every night, in addition to watching the birds fly over, dolphins jumping and boats going by.
The panoramic view of that gorgeous water from every room just had us mesmerized. Twenty years later we are still smitten and so in love with our home there. As we have slowly refurnished, renovated and made it our own little haven, we still just marvel at the fact that it is ours. We love to share it with others who appreciate the serenity, peacefulness and beauty of the gorgeous aqua water, sunsets, sugar white sandy private beach, birds flying overhead and boats going by. You can even spot dolphins jumping from time to time. The balcony is like a huge play pen for the younger children who are thoroughly entertained. It is a magical spiritual place to be is all that I can say.
You can also take a water taxi over to Emerald Grande for fun activities for the kids and adults and restaurants.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It is all about the view, the water, birds flying overhead, dolphins jumping, boats going by, the serenity and sunsets. We are in the Gulf East Pass Jetty with a private beach protected by a bulkhead which is the best of both worlds. Our home is very comfortable and as you can see by the over 100 glowing 'reviews' on our website of people who have spent time there, it is a little piece of paradise. It is our home away from home and we leave it like that with all the comforts and amenities you could want. We both love to cook and live to eat, being from New Orleans so our gourmet kitchen has every gadget, appliance, spice and tool you might desire. It is a well stocked kitchen beautifully renovated with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Our over-sized balcony stretches the length of the condo including both bedrooms, living and dining area which seats 6 comfortably with a Weber BBQ grill. You will be mesmerized and entertained by watching the boats go by, the birds flying overhead, dolphins jumping and the sunsets which are like a different painting every night.
