Brice Shore To Please - charming Jekyll duplex close to beach

Cute, traditional Jekyll duplex featuring 2 bedrooms and one bath. Recently updated and redecorated, this unit is the perfect getaway spot for a week at the beach!
The primary bedroom has a queen bed and there are twin bunk beds in the second bedroom. There is also a full futon in the living room for additional sleeping space.

A fully equipped kitchen, including a dual drip/pod coffeemaker, ensures all of your cooking and serving needs. There's also a covered patio that's perfect for grilling and dining al fresco! (This unit does not have a dishwasher.)

Linens (sheets and towels) are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, and dish soap. These items will not be replenished during your stay.

This is a pet-friendly unit. NO SMOKING.

Pool Privileges provided at Days Inn & Suites.

Upon our arrival the house was super clean, well lit and ready to go. It was actually much larger than we anticipated. It is in a great location, super short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay, and will return.

Lovely Location in Jekyll

Location was perfect. My favorite room was the porch. Issues were mainly in the kitchen: refrigerator was breaking down and that was hard, but thankful for the loaner, poorly equipped with few glasses, very little cooking supplies, no dish drainer. We went to Dollar General to buy items.

It was very nice. I would recommend another floor length mirror in the house. Maybe open the doors for a fresh air smell.

Jekyll Island vacation

We had a great time staying at the vacation rental and it fit our needs well. It was very clean, had everything we needed and was well decorated and furnished. Great location, within a short walking distance to the beach. The only downside was that there was no WiFi when we arrived which meant we also weren't able to watch any TV. We were there for one week and unfortunately the WiFi didn't get fixed the whole time we were there and we did not receive any reimbursement by the host.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We frequent Jekyll 🌊🦀🐳 Island several times an yeae and have done so for three generations now. This duplex reminds me of the simplicity of Jekyll. No frills, but clean and everything you need for a quick beach Vacay. Fantastic location as well. Would highly recommend overall. Just make sure to read the fine print because there is no dishwasher, but if you eat out a lot or bring paper plates, it’s really no big deal. My only suggestion would be to add more mirrors. There is one small mirror in the bathroom and if you have more than one person and are trying to get ready for dinner, that can be a little difficult:). Thanks for a great stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time at Jekyll. The house did not lend itself to a long stay as there was no place to put our clothes in either bedroom. Also there was no place to put groceries away, not enough cabinets. Also there was an issue with the locks on both doors. The house had an ideal location but next year we’ll go for something bigger as we will be staying for two months again.

Cuteat little beach house

Great little house! Very clean. Decor is super cute and minimal, so we didn't have to move stuff around to get comfortable. We were in a quiet cul-de-sac and only steps away from the beach. The screened porch was out favorite place to hang out, eat dinner, and watch deer in the evenings. The kids loved the bunk beds and said they were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we need, except a dishwasher. We didn't mind hand-washing though. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

Memory making week on at Duplex

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this duplex and the location. It as clean and up to date inside. It had all the housewares, towels and bedding we needed. The master bed was comfortable. We did not use the bunk bed room. We loved, loved, loved the location. A quick walk down Brice and there is a very nice beach access. We could go out anytime and get on the beach even at high tide. If didn't quite make it to the rocks. At low tide there was many tidal pools that my granddaughter loved to play in. Only thing that would make it better for us is TV in master bedroom and dressers in both bedrooms. This is not a deal breaker though. We would absolutely would stay here again.

Review

This was my first time using vrbo and I thoroughly enjoyed the ease of use. I loved property that was rented, however when we found that there was a water pressure issue and it was difficult to get in touch with Parker-Kaufman. After messages, emails, and phone calls we were finally told that there was a issue and we would have to change homes. They were able to place us in a different house quickly and that was greatly appreciated. Overall, I really liked the original property we were in and would stay there again as long as the water pressure issues are fixed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was fine. Any problems were immediately fixed. The unusual cold when I got there caused the locks not to work. The key we were given also did not work. We simply left the back door unlocked the entire time we were there. The maintenance man was aware of this. This did not really cause any problems with our vacation. We enjoyed our stay but I have rented a bigger house for next year due to the popularity of staying at Jekyll. Parker Kaufman found a really nice house for next year.
