The space
Welcome to 56 Stones Throw on award winning Hilton Head Island!

Come enjoy our newly renovated villa that is a 3-minute walk to Folly Field Beach as well as the new Lucky Beach restaurant, Coconutz and Jamaica Joes.

This first floor 1 BR/1BA villa has a luxurious memory foam King bed with walk in closet, as well as a Queen sleeper sofa in the living area.
The well-equipped kitchen has all new appliances and beautiful quartz countertops with full height backsplashes.

Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon libation on one of the two
outdoor patios, each with its own café table and chairs.

Stones Throw pool is steps from the villa and includes grilling stations and picnic area.

You can also pack up the available beach cart and chairs with umbrella and spend a relaxing day on our sugar sand beaches watching the dolphins go by.

Dogs are allowed
$50 Pet Fee is charged per PET!
Please be advised that if you were only charged for 1 pet, a request for the extra one will be sent after the booking is confirmed

HHI Vacay!

This place is adorable! It was perfect for a group of 4. It had everything we needed, along with some beach accessories for us to use and a starter pack of kitchen supplies too! We were very close to the beach access. I definitely would stay here again.

Clean, well furnished, comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay, the unit was easy to access and very convenient. Nicely furnished and great art made it a nice place to relax. The kitchen was well outfitted. And it was great to find such a nice dog friendly place. Thank you.

Speicher Stay

We had a great visit to HHI. We enjoyed the condo and that we could bring our pup Frank. He was a big fan of the beach and the condo too!We like the proximity to the beach. We would caution if you have a large vehicle the parking spots are tight. The man that was on duty at check in was super friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose this condo to stay again! o!

I especially liked that the condo did not have a lot of decorations on lower shelves. It wasn't over the top with decorations. It was definitely dog friendly.The kitchen was well supplied. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. The walk to the beach was paved on the side of a busy street. But I felt safe walking the dog at all times. The beach access had a mat covering the sand which was very nice walking on to get to the ocean.

The Perfect Beach Stay

My husband and I wanted a quick beach vacation as close to the beach as possible and that was dog friendly. We found this listing and it was perfect for a four day trip! EXTREMELY clean (even smelled like lavender when we walked in), a three minute walk to folly field beach (dog friendly) and the spare closet had everything that made the walk to the beach a piece of cake (umbrellas, sun chairs, a cart to bring everything down easily). We will definitely be returning!

Nice condo!

Perfect space for a couple. Clean. It was about 4 blocks from the beach. Bed was comfortable with a foam mattress topper. Easy check in with keypad.

Excellent place to unwind

This place felt like home. Very clean and spacious for the 2 of us. I love the decor. Specially the Turtle paint that it had on the dining room. Really close walk to an excellent beach. Very quiet and tranquil. The private fenced in patio was a plus. Sat there for a few hours at night and was able to star gaze.... Very romantic and cozy. Will definitely be going back.

Back on business

We had stayed here 4 or 5 times when it was under different ownership. It is very convenient to Folly Beach and quiet. It was dated and a bit worn then, but under new ownership, things have been updated , a big improvement. Used the pool for the first time and enjoyed it. Overall , it is a very comfortable place to stay for two people and a dog. We had not stayed there in 2 years because when we met the owner who bought it , he said it would not be dog friendly after fixing it up. Don't know if he changed his mind, or it was sold again, but we only stay In places that allow dogs.

Pet friendly Hilton Head stay a short walk to beach

This was a nice, clean, fully appointed condo with a full kitchen and lots of extras to make a beach vacation complete. Wagon with beach chairs and umbrella was a nice offering to be available for us to use. Our frustration all week was how thin the walls/ceiling were regarding the upstairs neighbors. Every footstep could be heard very loudly like they were stomping. When their dogs were running it was magnified. Then their move out packing night one evening until 11 was also loud. Otherwise, the condo was the setting for a lovely vacation at Hilton Head.

Perfect place for a couple

This was a very cute and extremely clean 1 bdrm condo. Nicely decorated, kitchen well stocked, and several little “extras” for convenience of the guests. The condo was easy to find and the neighborhood was nice. Ground floor sliding doors opened onto a patio and large natural common area. Close to the beach, although the neighborhood access was closed for repairs during our stay which we were not advised of until after reservations were made. Not that big of a deal to us, as we were there to visit with family, not spend a lot of time on the beach. Overall, this was a great little place for the price. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Stones Throw is a convenient 5 minute walk to the beach which was perfect for taking our dog. This condo was very clean and used the small space efficiently. You definitely could hear every footstep from the upstairs neighbors but it was not as bad as other reviewers made it seem. That's just what happens when you're in a lower level apartment. There were no check-out instructions other than to return the parking slip so I was worried but I guess we did everything correctly because I never got any feedback or extra charges.

The bed is comfortable, great shower, kitchen is well supplied for minor cooking. The decor is nice, showering supplies described in listing is inaccurate (bring your own). Upstairs neighbor is very loud walls/ceiling are thin. Garbage disposal did not work and backyard lights did not work. Overall nice place, just needs a little attention to detail.

If You’ve Never Been To Hilton Head

The property was immaculately clean, and exactly as advertised. First floor makes easy in and out, parking is assigned near the entrance. The beach is just as stated, “a stone throw away” short walk/drive- less than quarter mile. I learned that HHI has only a few public beach access points. This is a heavily gated and private island, and you can ONLY get to the beach in a few locations. Once there, you can walk or ride your bike along the beautiful long and wide beach. There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants and the island is pretty bike friendly, though one whole third of the island is Sea Pines- you MUST pay $9 to enter for the day to see the “famous” lighthouse and pay more to walk up. The condo is great and the host was attentive to questions.
