We went for a bachelorette trip and everyone loved it! It was beautiful and well taken care of! Everything was accurate on the listing. We even saw two bears from the back porch on our last night!

Top Notch Luxury!

Beautiful property with easy access and parking. Every amenity needed is provided to allow you to have a comfortable stay. Spotless cleaning and the decks were amazing for morning or evening relaxing.

Mountain life!

"Loved every bit of our stay! It was a chaotic blast, with truly unmatched views from the balcony hot tub. Being able to cook in such a great kitchen was a huge highlight for me, I used it every day! The cabin was so spacious, giving everyone their own room to relax. Can't wait to come back again!"

Our 50th Anniversary celebration at the lodge was great.

The lodge is beautiful and very comfortable. As a fully stocked place we found it very accommodating and comfortable. The amenities are very good. Our group of fourteen was adequately housed with plenty of sleeping arrangements. The scenery around the lodge is beautiful and Smokey Mountain National Park is readily accessible. Good place to stay.

Great cabin, perfect for large family or families

The cabin was large enough for our family of 6 plus in-laws. Well designed cabin with comfy furniture for gathering together. Not far from GSM park, Dollywood, PF/Gat.

Amazing

This was the perfect cabin for our family trip. We had 10 adults and a toddler. There was PLENTY of space in the cabin. We all enjoyed meals together at the large table, family game night in the spacious living room, and roasted marshmallows over the fire. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. Every room had its own bathroom which was a definite plus and time saver. Oh and the views being at the top of the mountain were gorgeous. The hosts were great and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing property! Excellent location - close enough to everything you need while far enough to get say from it all. The house is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The kitchen and living area was where we spent most of our time when we weren’t out and about. Everything we needed was there so making meals was stress-free. The grill is hooked up to a gas line so you don’t need to worry about a tank running out - something we’ve run into in previous rentals. Our kids (young adults) loved having a space of their own downstairs where they could do their own thing. Know that there are no closets - it wasn’t a problem for us because I brought a travel steamer to iron out things we would have normally hung up. There are dressers in the main bedrooms so no lack of places to put your clothes. Phone service is spotty, but we expected that as it’s pretty high up but the wi-fi access was flawless and supported everyone’s electronics. We had a great family vacation and hated to leave such a gorgeous space. If you are considering this place - book it - you won’t regret it.

Awesome Property!

We loved our stay at Hawk Mountain Modern Lodge. John & Jenn were great hosts and thought of everything! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for our group of 12. The beds & bedding were so comfortable, and the kids loved the bunks! I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing!

Nothing short of amazing! This property was perfect for our family. We had 13 people stay in the house and never once felt crowded. Accommodations were excellent. Our family will definitely keep this property in mind for our yearly trip to the Smoky Mountains.

Hello, One of the best cabin that we ever stayed. It was really good, well maintained and fully loaded kitchen. Lot of entertainment options for kids. John is very friendly and reachable for calls quickly. We would love to stay again. Thank you.

Upstairs had to many ladybugs. Even crawling on the beds. It rain very bad, and because the gutter up at the top is not finished. The rain hitting on the tin roof, sounded like a gun. Other than that the cabin was awesome.

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us! We're so glad to hear that you found the cabin awesome overall — that truly means a lot. We're sorry to hear about the Ladybugs. They are a natural, seasonal part of the Smoky Mountains, especially during the cooler months when they sometimes seek shelter in cabins and homes throughout the area. We do have regular professional pest control in place, and while they're completely harmless (they don't bite or cause any damage), we understand it can be a bit unexpected to see a few around, even on the beds. We're sorry for any inconvenience during your January stay. As for the rain on the tin roof, the lodge has full gutters in place to manage water flow, but during heavier rain, you can still hear the gentle patter on the metal — many guests actually find it adds to the cozy, classic mountain cabin atmosphere. Your thoughts help us keep improving, and we're grateful you shared both the highlights and these notes. We'd love the chance to welcome you back sometime — perhaps when the seasons shift and things feel a little different!
