This large 4 bedroom + Bonus Room home is located just minutes from the lake, casinos and Heavenly Ski Resort. Very nicely appointed with a contemporary decor, a large dining room, a gourmet kitchen and a large hot tub it is perfect for that family and friends gathering. There is a nice deck for enjoying the mountain peak views and a three car garage and expansive driveway for plenty of off street parking. The house is on a nice knoll above the street, providing additional privacy.

This is the 3rd year that we have rented this house. There is plenty of room for everyone. Quiet neighborhood, 10-12 minutes to Stateline. We would rent this house again

Great house but the management company failed to repair hot tub

We have rented this house for many years. It has always been great.But the management company told us they would repair the hot tub in a couple of days. Unfortunately, they never did.

Friends weekend

This property is perfect for multiple families. This is the 2nd year in a row that we've rented this property and we'll rent it again. Plenty of room, rooms are seperated on different levels so noise is at a minimum. Overall, very nice house.

Perfect house for a family reunion!

We stayed at this spacious house for our family reunion, and there was plenty of room for everyone! It's the perfect place for children because there's a large, fully stocked toy room that kept all the kids happy. Highly recommend!

Spacious, great location, not properly cleaned

Stayed here with family and friends. Great location and the house had plenty of room to spread out and even a playroom for the kids. Only complaints are that the house was not all that clean and the linens were pretty sparce. Floors were dirty and left our feet black, there were food bits left on the stairs and kitchen windowsill. The exhaust fan on the stove has a trap that was so caked with oil and food that we had to clean it in order for it to work. There was only one kitchen towel, no beach towels, and one bath towel per person. Not a big deal on the linens, but I would have prepared differently had I known. Lastly, the toilet seats had a sanitary paper strap around them, indicating they were clean, but there was hair and urine on at least two of the toilets when we got there. All in all, great house, but might want to look at a different cleaning company.

Spacious, comfortable house for a family and friends

Nice large house as advertised. Our family went up there for a wedding and was in need of a large space for wedding preparations and this place fit the bill. It was more than spacious enough for our needs. As in previous reviews, much of the furniture, appliances and extra blankets are outdated. But the house was clean and comfortable. Stairs to the garage and the front door is rather steep and should be a consideration if you have elderly family members joining you. There is no electric vehicle charging unit installed in the garage, but there is a Nema 14-50 receptacle so you will need to bring your own charging unit if you wish to make use of this amenity. Both John and the management company were quick to answer any questions and clear instructions were given for an easy check in and check out.

Generous and helpful owner

This owner was very generous to us and forgiving of a mistake that was completely my fault and not his. I was impressed with the way he interacted with me and was kind to us even though we didn't deserve it, which made extra work for him and lost money for him. Book with him.

Great Home for a Group… Beautiful Area

The house is amazing for groups. So much space. So many bedrooms and hang out rooms. Beautiful area to be. Easy to get to Heavenly or the Lake. So enjoyed our stay here. Only wish we had more people come with us!!!

Spacious house. Great for large families. Dated

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and the large dining room was great in accommodating our Thanksgiving dinner. Heater worked great and the house stayed very well insulated. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. There was a hodgepodge of cooking utensils and pots, pans, and various kitchen items. Thankfully we brought some of our own items to supplement. The house is extremely dated. It is clear the house has not had any renovations or upgrades in a while. Driveway is narrow and parking can be tricky with more than 2 vehicles. We parked our daughter’s car in the garage as she didn’t need it for the duration of our stay.

Great stay in a beautiful location

Owners and management were very helpful and we had a great stay. Then house is very dated and a bit cluttered with old furniture and random kitchen plates, cups. etc.. Walls need a painted and green carpet needs replacing but for the price, this was a great stay.

Great home! But suspect management company.

We again enjoyed our annual trip to Tahoe. We accidently locked ourselves out of the house one night. I tried a couple of times to contact the management company. In spite of their voice mail message that all their operators were busy assisting other people, they never responded to my messages. Luckily, I have the owners phone number and he helped us get into the house.

I fell in love with Lake Tahoe while I was in undergrad at UC Davis. I am an avid skier and outdoors person.

During the winter I love to ski, snowmobile or snow shoe hike in Lake Tahoe.

During the summer I like to hike, mountain bike or boat at the lake.

We currently live in a big city, so it is nice to get away from it all- enjoy the quiet, see the stars and breathe the fresh mountain air.

My wife and I went to UC Davis for undergrad. We are both avid skiers, so we would often head up to Tahoe for the day or weekend during the winter. In fact, during winter quarters I often took 8am classes so I had my afternoons free to hit the slopes.

As a result, it was always a dream of ours to have a vacation home in the area. Our dream came true in 2006 and we have enjoyed the house ever since.

Our families have also had a great time at the house. We have spent many holidays at the house including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Fourth of July.

We hope that you will also enjoy our house and have fond family memories of your stay in Lake Tahoe.
