Welcome to your Beachside Hideaway! More photos are coming soon! A true beachside cottage to relax away the stress of the day or play a round of foosball. Located one house off the ocean you see ocean views from your front balcony. A great place to enjoy your morning coffee and take in the sunrise. Your beach access is less than 300 feet away. Fully fenced side yard. Outdoor shower. Bring your surfboard!

The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins!

The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself!

Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house.

The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup.

We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.

EV Charging: There is a fee of $5 per day if you will be charging an electric vehicle at the home.

Piece of Peaceful Rest

As soon as we drove into the neighborhood… we were at peace. What a tranquil place and home. The house was exactly what was expected and described on the website. Everything was perfectly clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to make meals. All the appliances were in superb condition. All the bedrooms were clean and well maintained. You will notice that someone put their heart and soul into making this home as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Lastly, the beaches are absolutely gorgeous and stunning from the sand to the water. The home is just a short walk to the beach which was so lovely and perfect. Thank you David and Patti for responding to all our questions and concerns so promptly. And thank you so much for opening your home to us. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you again!!!

Perfect location and great for friends and family groups!

My husband, son, our little dog, and I stayed for a week, and my nephew and his daughter joined us for a couple of nights. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Every one had their own bedroom and privacy but we loved gathering together downstairs in the "recreation" area and upstairs to cook and eat together. The kitchen is well supplied with every utensil and appliance you can think of. We loved the outdoor grill as well and used it often. The fenced in side yard was secure and spacious for our dog which was very convenient. The Butler Beach neighborhood is one of my favorites as we have vacationed there frequently over the years. It's quiet, very little traffic, and very walkable. The walk to the beach from the Beachside Hideaway is beautiful, walkable, and very nearby with walkways to the left and right of the property. There are also a few restaurants (we loved the Cuban Restaurant nearby and walked there several times) and shops that are walking distance. David responded quickly to all of our questions and requests and gave us thorough information both pre-and-post our stay. We recommend this property highly and would absolutely stay again.

The place is Beautiful and well-kept, the owners are incredibly nice and the Property is in a Great location. Rooms and amenities were Great and we enjoyed our stay here!

Nice house convenient to beach

This place was great for the 5 of us. Very close to the wonderful beach, and only a short drive to St Augustine. We would stay here again. The kids loved the foosball table. The kitchen was large and well stocked with gear. 2 big TV, 2 outdoor decks, enclosed yard for the dog.

Butler Beach - Fabulous!

Booked this home for a few weeks. Absolutely loved this home. Fabulous!! Exactly as described and more. Very comfy and cozy. Enough room for all without being on top of each other. Very close to everything we need. Great contact with property managers. Will stay again when in this area!
