Anniversary celebration

My husband and I came to Sanibel island to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Best vacation we’ve ever had! Great place, location and people!! We will certainly be back soon!

All facilities were well kept and assessable day and evening. Moorings is well located a close to many restaurants and other entities. The island was well groomed and clean.

The beach is magnificent, the dock view was restful, the pool was refreshing, and our unit was comfortable, clean & well-stocked! Sanibel Moorings has made great strides recovering from hurricane Ian! High five!!

Reviewer Comments: The apartment was very nice and we thought it would be an ideal location - it was close to the pool - but guests in the pool were noisy and disregarded the guidance regarding food, during and loud music - such a shame! We've been long time visitors to this property and other than that the Moorings is an exceptional vacation location.First time in this apartment but we'll book a different apartment next time purely because of the noise.

Glad to be back on Sanibel!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved being back on Sanibel. Overall the rental was great, but needs some updating and little things could have made it better. For example, the vacuum didn’t work, the TV in living room didn’t work, curtains didn’t close easily, toaster needed replaced. However, on the positive side, the bed was extremely comfortable, the rental was very clean upon arrival, the water pressure was good, the major appliances were in good working order like the oven, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher.

Reviewer Comments: I wanted to treat my Wife to a Birthday Getaway to get her mind off of the rising number and to enjoy a week+ of the Paradice we enjoyed while the kids were growing up. Our room was delightful, clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. The grounds were surprisingly well kept, when realizing the devastating effects from Ian. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would give Sanibel Moorings a 10.

In felt safe even Just by myself staying to this accommodation. There is kayaking for free. U can jog feeling safe. Walking distance to the beach and pool is just behind the unit. I would definitely go back. Just wish they have a smart tv. I could have watched my Netflix and Amazon Prime as I relax for the night.

Very beautiful property

This entire property is absolutely gorgeous. The condo itself was very cozy, well decorated and convenient. The whole island is very nice and beautiful. If you are a smoker this is a completely smoke free property not just the unit itself. I think this should have been included in the description. Also, most people ride bikes on the island but if you are unable they have golf cart rental options. Please be aware that golf carts are not allowed on this property at all not even for a short stop. This is not mentioned in the description either. I was told that I needed to reference the properties website for information like that since I booked through a 3rd party (VRBO). If you are considering this property I would do that or call just in case

Sanibel Vacation at the Moorings

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my 8 visit to the Moorings in my life. It has been 15 years since my last visit. We really enjoyed our stay! I greatly appreciate that the grounds are still kept up so meticulously and that you continue to provide the beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach. As you walk down on the beach most of the resorts/places don't offer/have beach chairs and umbrellas available. Please continue to pay so close attention to these wonderful details. That's what makes the Moorings so special!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was great. The condo and the resort were very nice. Beach area was excellent. Kitchen was well stocked. The only downside was that the bed was uncomfortable (probably needs replacing) and the tub was draining water (wouldn't hold water without draining). Would definitely stay there again.
