Beautiful, relaxing time in the sun

This property had everything you could ask for ... friendly people, beach, great location, sporting equipment and easy access to great shelling. We are looking forward to another trip next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sanibel Moorings is a great place to stay for a vacation. It is nicely located. My only concerns are that Sanibel Island is a very expensive place to vacation and auto traffic can be very heavy. It is a very beautiful place to be.

Great to be back at Sanibel Moorings!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We shared a second floor 2-bedroom condo with another couple and had a great week. Perfect weather for 7 straight days! Our unit was clean, attractively furnished, and comfortable. There were ongoing construction repairs in the 1st floor units, but we knew this before we rented, and the noise and inconvenience was truly minimal. Cable TV was not operational yet, but Sanibel Moorings had arranged for streaming service, so we were able to use our living room TV, although the master bedroom TV was not operational. We used the newly resurfaced tennis/pickleball court every day. We look forward to having beach chairs and umbrellas available at the edge of the beach again in the future, but 2 nice folding beach chairs were provided, and some friends in the adjacent unit brought their own, which they lent us. The pools were great -- no evidence that the storm ever damaged them. Wildlife at Ding Darling was plentiful again, and the beach restoration brought lots of lovely soft sand. We are partial to Sanibel Moorings, as our experiences there have always been wonderful. We were more than willing to overlook remnants of hurricane damage that were still awaiting attention, as we were impressed with the work that had been completed, and we know that in due time, the Moorings will be even better than before. Kudos to the staff and owners!

Sanibel Moorings unit 1622

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Sanibel Moorings on two separate occasions before this trip. The units we rented on those trips were modern, updated and was ‘just like home’. This time was a huge let down. We originally were in unit 1432 and we could not stay there after sleepless night of loud air conditioning unit and overall disrepair. Management was helpful in moving us to unit 1622. All I can say is it was much quieter but in need of updating. The carpet was so old...would not recommend either of these units.

Convenient and Comfortable

This property is located just steps away from the beach and just a short drive from nearby shops and dining. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place to experience Sanibel. We had an electrical outage with the microwave, but management responded quickly.

A Getaway from Winter

We especially enjoyed being on the dockside for sitting, watching the wildlife, including two different dolphin sightings, and a place to meet people. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Amazing Place

Location of condo on property

We were across the road from the beach. I was bummed at first thinking we would be too far away from the water. I loved it actually. It was definitely more private then the other condos. We walked by everyone’s patio and nobody walked by ours. There was a canal behind us and the ocean was maybe a 3 min walk. I loved the location.
