Great spot for a relaxing or active vacation!

We had a wonderful week in the Everglades/Miami/the Keys while staying here. It was a great central location to get all we wanted to in - with a bit of driving - and close to groceries and conveniences to make supply buying easy. The home itself lived up to the pictures online. It was a very fun, chic property with one of the best outdoor spaces we've rented. Our kids especially loved the design of the pool and the outdoor kitchen was a great place to cook (and watch TV) while they swam. We definitely appreciated the excess of propane when a tank ran out! All the beds and lounging areas were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed the gaming area with our tweens, which was great to take advantage of especially during tired afternoons after being out. Above all, Heather and Kevin made the stay that much better by being such great hosts. Our stay happened to overlap Easter, and as an incredibly sweet welcoming gift they left Easter treats for us and our girls. They also quickly and thoroughly answered all my questions well before our visit, and during our stay making sure all was well. Would definitely consider staying again.

Great house and host

I’m not one to write reviews but this property was fantastic. From the heated pool to the outdoor bar with TV to the well appointed and clean interior it was perfect for some much needed R&R. Heather was an amazing host. From the great recommendations to the unbelievable responsiveness we received, Thank you!

Nice, But Didn't Get What I Paid For

The home was nicely decorated, furnishings were comfortable. Small, but liked the layout. I was disappointed that the heat in the pool was not working for nearly our entire stay. A heated pool was the most important thing I was looking for in a property. Most of our time was going to be rest and relaxation by the pool, so without the heat, the pool was very cold and not usable. I could have easily rented a home without a pool for less than half of what I paid for this private heated pool that I never got to use. For that reason, I feel I didn't get what I paid for. The couple did refund me $150 to go have a nice dinner to make up for the trouble, but honestly, I was out a lot more money than $150 to compensate for the amenities I paid for that were unavailable for use. The other thing that I was quite upset about was that there were security cameras that were not disclosed in the listing. I don't mind a Ring doorbell camera, but a camera overlooking the pool area felt like an invasion of privacy. The inside smart home security system that faces living/dining area also has a camera/speaker and recording capabilities. Very few additional amenities were provided. No seasonings/condiments, no laundry soap, no cleaning products. The sugar cannister on counter by coffee bar had a lot of ants in and out of cannister. Owner might want to switch to individual packets. Main bathroom shower door is missing half the door so water gets all over the floor when you shower in there.

Amazing Time

I really enjoyed the time spent with my family at the home. After a long day of many outings, we were able to come home to where we could cook an amazing meal and relax in a heated pool. The nightly swimming times were the best part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the many options to either watch TV or play games. Fun times!
