Everything you could want….and more! Lovely sunset view from expansive porch. Also the nighttime star gazing was really special. Fully equipped kitchen, grill, beach chairs/towels and coolers. Internet and TV worked great. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, outdoor showers, good location and incredibly responsive and friendly host. Check in was easy as we were met at the barge pier to assist with finding the house. Overall a truly lovely way to spend Christmas with family. Hope to definitely be back one day!

The owner, Rachel, was great through this entire process. We rented this home several months ago and anytime we had any questions, Rachel was quick to reply. Her home was absolutely stunning and the hosts that she had there to greet us and take care of us throughout the week were amazing. I would book this trip All over again! Spectacular views of chocolate hole. it was within walking distance of the Westin. And MAX, her neighbor, is the best taxi on the island.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable villa with plenty of room for our family - six adults and two young children, ages 2 and 5. The view of Chocolate Hole is gorgeous, and we especially loved dinners on the roomy veranda with string lights above and the sea below. The outside (but still private showers) were a treat. Our 5-year-old granddaughter absolutely loved sleeping in the "secret" trundle bed room behind the bookcase. Having two living spaces - one up and one down - was especially convenient when the 2-year-old went down for naps and early bedtime. Communication with Rachel, Kelly and Julianne was easy and helpful from reservation through check-in and during our stay itself. When we arrived, Julianne met us at the ferry dock and made sure we and all of our luggage made it to the jeep rental place nearby. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and supplies, and we enjoyed using the gas grill on the veranda. A/C and ceiling fans kept us cool and comfy. Turtle Nest Villa was a great home base for relaxing and exploring beautiful St. John. We had an amazing weeklong family vacation! Highly recommend!

A perfect St. John week!

7 of us spent the week in St. John to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. We've always stayed in Coral Bay in the past, but decided to try Chocolate Hole this time. We're so glad we did! It's so convenient to all of the shops and restaurants of Cruz Bay, but is quiet and serene with gorgeous views. The layout of the home is exceptional for a large group. The sliding doors from the den to the balcony/ patio make it "live" as one large space. The kitchen is small but very adequate and well stocked. There's even a nice blender and a shaker to be able to make drinks at home.Plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, pool noodles, and float mats are provided. The driveway is flat and very easy to navigate (unlike many driveways on St. John)! The house was exceptionally clean, and there were even fresh flowers in vases in the den and kitchen. The property is beautifully landscaped. Check in was easy- Katherine, one of the managers, met us as the house and showed us around. There are keypads on the doors, so there are no keys to keep track of.While the house is technically walkable to Cruz Bay, the road is steep and there are no sidewalks, so you would need a car to stay here. Rachel, the owner, was no nice and responsive. We'd love to stay here again!

Wedding week

Our daughter was getting married on Lovingo and we rented Turtle nest for 4 adults and 3 children. It was perfect!. Kids and parents downstairs and we were upstairs. Plenty of room for 4 more if we needed it. Be sure to rent a car, but this house is terrific and good location

Beautiful home in great location

Very nice home, private and quiet, with great views Cruz bay. Especially loved the outdoor shower, and all the amenities including beach chairs and kitchen barware. Private master bedroom balcony was lovely. Very clean home. The host Rachel and manager Julianne made the home welcoming and were VERY easy to work with and even met us at the home upon arrival to show us around. Great hosts make the stay and departure very easy --and they were great. Highly recommend this property for accurate description, comfort and cleanliness, view, and especially the wonderful hosts. Thank you Rachel and Julianne!

Lovely views from a lovely house

Family gathering for a destination wedding was our excuse to visit St John, USVI. I found this rental and my first contact with Rachel made me feel comfortable. She was super responsive to all my questions and concerns. She has a wonderful island representative that led us from the car ferry to the house and gave us a tour of our home for the week. Large kitchen and lots of amenities came included, like beach towels and chairs. I very much recommend this property!!

Villa for our Daughter’s Wedding

This pillow could not be more convenient for my daughter‘s wedding. We had a wedding at Ocean 362 which was downtown and my daughter was staying at great expectations which was 3 miles and the other direction so we were right in between. The views were spectacular. The set up was fantastic. We loved every minute of it. That was the best part of our trip.

Family Trip to St Johns

My whole family loved the house- we had teens up to grandparents and it was great for everyone. We were able to spread out and have our own space as well as great places to gather together. The view was wonderful and it was easy to get in and out of as well as a great location. It was very well stocked. The whole process was smooth and easy and Rachel and Kelly helped with all our needs. We would stay there again!

Great Accommodations and Views

Our fourth family visit to St John and one of the best. The Villa was well appointed and well stocked with everything both in the Villa and for the beach. In excellent condition overlooking Chocolate Hole and conveniently within minutes to Cruz Bay. The host providing a welcoming guide that was very helpful outlining what is needed and to do on St John. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and would definitely return .

Family reunion

We had an amazing time at Turtle nest vila. We were a group of 11 people and it was fine, but the house is more comfortable for 8-9 people. The kitchen is very well equipped The view from the balcony is spectacular. We will be back again!

Family Turtle Villa getaway

Easy access, plenty of space for our family for 8 days. We did lose power a few times during our stay but we are used to it coming from the rural country so it did not really effect our stay.

Turtle Nest Villa

Turtle Nest Villa was amazing! It's kept up nicely, very convenient to Cruz Bay, and fantastic views (we couldn't get enough of those views)! The villa slept a party of 8 comfortably and the kitchen was stocked well with cookware. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs and coolers as well😀

Beautiful home with great views!

We had a wonderful time at “Turtle Nest Villa”! We were two families with a total of 10, we spent seven nights there very comfortably. The house is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and furnished and full of light. Having two separate levels worked out great for us parents when we wanted to retire before the rest of the group. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The view of the two bays from the deck is beautiful and it’s a great spot to hang out anytime of the day. The house is quiet, surrounded by green and flowers, we even saw an iguana in the yard! Although the house feels secluded it is within minutes of the grocery store and the restaurants and shops in Cruz Bay. The many beach towels, beach chairs and the umbrella were greatly appreciated and used daily. Our hosts Kathryn and Kelly were very kind, helpful and responded promptly to any question we had. Overall we had a very special time and we would definitely go back to Turtle Nest Villa!

Excellent experience for 5 nights stay

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the “turtle’s nest villa” (love this cute theme). Some of the things we like: brand new settings; a large porch with fantastic view of two bays at day and great view of stars at night; convenient (2 mins to the grocery and 10 min drive to Cruz bay) yet quiet location; relatively independent two floors where we (two families) can have fun together in the dining room and living room but also have some privacy at night; spacious bathrooms with both tub and walk-in shower (nice when coming back from the beach); plenty of beach chairs and beach towels to use; lovely trees and flowers around the villa; lots of windows all over the villa; cozy couches with a big TV; and many other great features. Only two small caveats: we didn’t find the USB wall outlets so don’t forget to bring your charger (we did!) and there are a few wild roosters or some birds living in the neighboring woods and they crow for a minute or so once every few hours throughout the night (not a big deal if not super sensitive sleeper) Over all a great place to enjoy the vacation for family and friends. We feel lucky to find it.
