The George- Walk Downtown, Popular for Horse Shows, Bourbon Trail, Ark Park

Located in downtown Georgetown, this lovely historic home has been freshly updated and is centrally located to all of the area attractions! This property offers a fully stocked kitchen, work space, a great back yard, and laundry. We also provide Matrix hair products, Buff City soaps, and Starbucks coffee (we like to spoil our guests)! Short walk to the great shops and restaurants downtown and Georgetown College. Most of our guests stay at our home to visit the KY Horse Park, the Ark Encounter, or to tour the Bourbon Trial. We are so fortunate to be centrally located to all three. We offer a care-free checkout-no chores! We can't wait to have you here!

This 120-year old home has tons of charm! the ceilings are tall, with original hardwood floors throughout most of the house. There is both off-street and on-street parking and the back deck and yard are lovely. The bedroom located on the main floor is quite large and has 2 queen beds, with a full closet, much like a hotel room. The room upstairs is the most private, quite large, and has a king-sized bed. Cleanliness is our top priority- all of our bedding is encapsulated in zippered mattress and pillow covers and duvets are washed between every guest! There is a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and stackable washer and dryer available to guests. There are two work spaces, one upstairs and one downstairs, both open to the rest of the house. If you have any special requests, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate!

For those guests that need a fan to sleep- we got you! The king bedroom has a ceiling fan and there is a large oscillating fan in the downstairs queen room closet available for guests to use.

Pets
One pet is permitted to stay if guests agree that pets will be crated when parents are away, pets are not allowed in beds or on the furniture. High shedding breeds are not allowed. We are glad to provide a large crate, food and water bowls, towels for wiping off paws, and pet waste bags. The back yard has a privacy fence but it does have some gaps and is NOT secure so you will want to leash walk if your pet is a flight risk.
