Cozy cottage. Relax and enjoy! Walk the charming streets of Chincoteague! Walk to restaurants, shops and local activities. Artisan/ farmers market is less than one block away from the house! Every Wednesday and Saturday from April through October! Pick up pickleball courts nearby - both outdoor and indoor courts. Brianna’s playground park for the kids next door! Pick up the trolley on Main Street and ride around to get a feel for the island! Dollar store, pharmacy, post office and grocery store are all easy walks from the house. Fitness lovers will enjoy the nearby pickle ball courts; outdoor basketball court; fitness equipment, picnic tables and soccer field across the parking lot.

Nice property on a quiet street next to a large playground which would be great for families. Lots to do in the area between pony/dolphin excursions with Captain Dan and slow drive down beach road to the National Seashore watching for ponies, Sika Deer and other wildlife.

Had a great stay in your quaint little house for the memorial weekend holiday. The house is very cute and cozy and close to Main Street attractions.

This place was EVERYTHING our family needed for a perfect vacation. The location was amazing, close to the farmer’s market as well as the Main Street shops! Additionally, a short walk from two amazing ice cream shops, two coffee shops, great restaurants- the list goes on and on. The owner was quick to reply to any messages I sent, and provided tons of helpful information in advance of our stay. While we are 30 year veterans to the island, I can tell that she makes sure every guest feels perfectly at home.

This house is adorable. It has everything you need for the week and more. The host was super helpful with a few issues we had and we couldn't be happier. The park next door was a huge hit for the kids. The location is great. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality Christine!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Very clean, great communication with owner, comfortable beds, ample linens and towels and terrific location. Would definitely rent this home again. The only drawback at all was that only 4 of the front windows had screens and we were not able to open the windows to the beautiful weather we had.

This was a perfect place for us. Kitchen had sufficient supplies for basic meals. The house was clean and check in was smooth and the host was great at communicating with us.

The house has a for sale sign in the front yard and the listed owner has a posted obituary from May. We found it due to a lack of response asking for the code to the key box— both to messages and phone calls. It was a very small, outdated house. The park nearby was the best part. The upstairs bathroom seems to have been installed in what used to be a closet. The owner was difficult to contact and charged an extra fee because we forgot to start the dishwasher and a rug was under the table. We were also blamed for the paint peeling off the door. We will not stay here again, and would not recommend it.

Yes given my 5 Star reviews…. Do not rent to this family! The only reason they gave me a 2 star review just now is because I charged them extra cleaning fee for leaving my place a mess and sent them pictures through VRBO so they knew they were going to get a bad review from me. First of all I sent you check in information with the lockbox code and lots of other information for the house and island. I can’t help you didn’t read the instructions. When you asked again I provided it promptly and asked if you got in ok. Again, no response was given to me. I am very reachable. Their communication was non existent. Not sure what person’s obituary you are talking about or how it is even related to this situation. They left my kitchen a complete mess. Stained my couch. And more. They didn’t follow all of the house rules. And tried to say they cleaned. So the house is for sale-what does that have to do with anything? Most of the homes on Chincoteague are older homes. You saw the pictures and liked it enough to rent it! It is a very cute and charming home. The reason I bought it! I always get alot of compliments! Hosts only ask for respect when you rent their homes. Clean up after yourself, keep it nice and tidy and follow the house rules. Don’t treat it like garbage.

We love staying in Coastal Daze Cottage. This was our second stay, and despite the bad weather as the hurricane approached, we had a great time. A beautiful, comfortable house, with everything you need, and conveniently located.

Comfortable stay in a convenient spot!

The house was tidy and clean, and had everything our family needed. The playground and pickleball courts next door were a plus for us! The easy walk to shops on Main Street was also nice.

We had a very comfortable stay here. The cottage is a convenient walking distance to restaurants and shops. It came stocked with all the necessities. Very satisfied.

Weekend Getaway

Comfortable and charming coastal house that has everything you need for a great stay. Central to all the community has to offer without being on a busy street.Enjoyed the old coastal architecture and the eclectic interior design. 10 out of 10, would stay again!The Wednesday/Saturday market nearby is also a must visit and Christine gave helpful recommendations for local dining.

Wonderful house!

This is such a great place to stay in Chincoteague. The house blends the charm of its age with modern comforts. The owner has thought of everything. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. And you can drink your morning coffee on either the front or back porch! Bonus for people with little kids - fabulous park right next door!

Chincoteague Getaway at Coastal Daze Cottage

Clean and well appointed home. Everything we needed was there for us. The location is perfect. We walked to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, then took the short drive to Assateague Island to the beach.Our grandson loved the amazing park right next door. Communication with the owner was easy and her responses were prompt. We were even able to extend our visit an extra day.

Great spot!

Christine was a great host! She was super responsive to any message I sent - questions about check out, the house, recommendations for around town. The house was awesome! Lots of character and charm and very clean! Being so close to the playground was amazing and we would stay here again for that convenience over and over. The street is nice and quiet but also very close tot things, like the farmers market.

Beautiful Home

Christine keeps an immaculate home. It was extremely clean and had small personal touches so that it didn't feel like an ordinary vacation rental. It was conveniently located next to a playground which my two children used every day we were there. Her communication was top notch and she took the time to recommend many things for us to do. If we go back I will definitely be looking to book here again.

The cottage was clean, well stocked with essentials (and appreciated nonessentials) and charmingly decorated. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood as well as the easy proximity to the playground, pickleball courts, and Farmers market on Saturday and Wednesday. Christine obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making our stay comfortable and enjoyable and was quick to respond to any questions we had. One thing that I would point out that might be problematic for some people is that, while the place was very clean, the bedding was pretty heavy on the detergent/fabric softener scent.

Just cozy!

Our host was prompt with communication and the house was lovely when we arrived. One note of caution for other travelers is that the roof in the master bedroom is very slanted so it could pose a problem for individuals over 5’6”. My hubby is 6’ and bumped his head a few times. We ate in a few times during our stay and took advantage of the well stocked kitchen. I would totally stay here again!
