The ocean view was spectacular, however, could see the difference of the other properties on the beach as we were not youngsters and carrying chairs umbrella out to the beach was not one of the best features

Spent a quick week in Marco for a family vacation… the apartment was beautiful, clean and spacious. All appliances are new and in perfect condition. Had no issues during my stay.. and would rent this unit again!

Overall a great experience! it had all the essentials. We really enjoyed the French press. The only concern would be the complexes security . Gate was open on a Saturday night. Some various smells at night like sewer and smoke. And outside walkway lights werent in the first couple of nights. Otherwise everything was clean and comfortable.

Excellent Location!

We stayed at this property for 4 weeks in March/April, 2023. It was very expensive, in our opinion, but you can't beat the location. Sunsets and wine on the balcony were beautiful, as were mornings with coffee!! But the internet is terrible and it made using computers or Apple TV very difficult. Even the cable tv would say No Signal frequently every evening. Modems look antiquated...so getting "work from home" done proved frustrating. Plenty of cookware, very little bakeware and the cookie sheets in the bottom oven drawer looked like they had never been washed so we didn't use those. Plenty of plates, very few glasses or mugs and much of the dishware was chipped. It's a rental so I get it.....but be careful in the morning drinking coffee as most of the mugs are chipped. Beds were comfortable, decent sheets and towels are offered; living room furniture was not very comfortable. It is nice to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit. Washing machine is loud and doesn't spin the water out real well, but still better than having to go to a laundromat. The front of the building bedroom (extra bedroom) smells very musty. Tried cleaning that attached bathroom toilet, sink and shower with a bleach cleaner, but it didn't do much good. I think this unit just needs a good dehumidifier. The faucets in the bathrooms crunch or grind when turning them on and have very little water pressure. They probably need to be replaced. The shower heads have great water pressure, but the one in the guest bath shoots out and onto the shower door which means water all over the floor every time you shower. Needs a shower head that points down to the floor to avoid a constant water mess. The fitness room in this building is great. Newer equipment and recently remodeled. It's quite nice and has a great view when walking the tread or biking on the recumbent. The gate attendant is a very nice man and helpful, as are the people in the office. The grounds are beautiful and they take very good care of the pools, landscaping, barbecues etc. The check-in process and check-out process was on a weekend for us. Worked flawlessly!! Overall our stay was 3.5-4 stars....based on pretty old technology offered and chipped dishes and very used furniture. This building and the view are top notch, however!!

Somerset was solid

This is a quality unit and the mgmt company was on top of things. we had 2 couples and a teenager so the pullout sofa in the bedroom was a great arrangement. The tower itself was pretty quiet when we were there in late June which was fine with us. A couple of the beach chairs were getting frayed and the office offered up a couple new ones. Overall was a very nice stay.

Does Not Meet Expectations

First, my husband and I have stayed in this building about five times, so we've seen different condos. We arrived late and got our keys from the lock box. We could have taken the keys for any condo that was in the lockbox which made me uncomfortable. They had the name and location on the information packet. Upon arriving, the condo appeared clean but after a few minutes we realized we had a lot of cleaning to do. The counters were not clean, the table was not clean, the outside table was not clean, the showers were not clean, etc. We did some cleaning and made the best of our stay. We had some issues with the internet and the television but they did get corrected. Construction is going on in some of the condos. The drills start around 8:00 am so sleeping is is out of the question. The outdoor chairs are not very comfortable. The biggest complaint was that when we left, we were told the night before that we would be charged $25 per load for any laundry that had to be done over two loads. I washed all the towels, rugs, blankets, etc., so that we would not be charged. This tells me that blankets on the beds are not being washed between every rental and that blankets are being used from guest to guest. The other complaint was that every food item had to be disposed of before we left including items in the refrigerator. However, when we arrived, the cabinets had tons of coffee, sugar, creamer, spices, etc. We have been checked out of the condo for more than two weeks and have not yet received a refund for our security deposit. I will now have to chase the deposit. Lastly, I would like to have written this review at my own time instead of having a time limit to write it. Having said all that, the view is very nice. However, I would not stay at this rental again. JA

Hi Daniel, We wish you would have told us about the two broken items. The Owner was quite disturbed that we had not been notified. We do understand that accidents do happen but it is better to advise rather than let them be found after the fact. Horizons Rentals

You can't go wrong staying in this Condo Complex. We have stayed in various different units as have our family and friends and we always are pleased with the location and the Condo Complex. This unit was basically clean and the location of it was nice. When we checked in we weren't given our parking number - but the rental company was super responsive and helpful. We also only had 2 beach chairs and again the rental company was quick to buy additional chairs and drop them off.

November Marco trip

We enjoyed the unit and the patio area. It is impossible to turn on the 2nd bath shower without getting wet. It would be better to have a handheld shower wand as an option. The master bath shower floor needed a good cleaning and the shower is hard to stop dripping.

Great stay on Marco

This property is very nice. Beach: on beautiful south beach, slightly shelly so I would bring water shoes, short stroll to rent jet skis and paddle boards Kitchen: well stocked, updated, clean and in good condition Bedrooms: nice bedding, comfy beds and pillows with plenty of extra pillows if needed Bathrooms: clean, plenty of towels, large showers, the only down side is that the shower doors slightly leak. Lanai: large with table and chairs for 6 Internet: works very well and easy to use

Unit 212

We arrived to a beautiful condo, but no water ( we needed bathrooms after traveling all day!) pocket door from bedroom to bathroom did not work, no WiFi, recessed can in the bathroom did not work properly ( flashed brightly) , neither screen to lanai worked properly( one was off the track.) Horizon rental did send someone out after I called them. WiFi ( needed a new modem) water and pocket door were repaired and the remaining issues were fixed two days later. I feel that these items should have been noticed and repaired in a check of the unit prior to our checking in. We were very unhappy that the unit was entered and sprayed for bugs during our stay and also water shut off on the Thursday of our stay at 8:30 a.m. for several hours. It is a beautiful unit—- unfortunate that these inconveniences occurred during our all too short stay.
