Excellent stay overall

The house was great with a great location. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t get the WiFi to work.

Great Location

Absolutely love the location of the home . Clean, had everything we needed, could have used a few more bath towels considering there were 11 guests. We will be booking here again.

Amazing beach house!

This house was perfect for my family of 9. The location was absolutely amazing.....steps away from the beach. Beautiful views from every window in the house. Any questions I had about the house was quickly answered by Juanita. She was a pleasure to work with.Totally enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location

The location of this property is amazing! Ypu can not beat viwes. 20 steps to the beach. Iys needs some TLC but would not keep us from staying again.

Great Location

Location was great, very quiet spot on the beach. The waves were very cathartic and you can see them from the master bedroom. Very spacious place with lots of beds. We especially loved the eagles nest bunk room with a great view. We struggled with the lack of working doorknobs and basic amenities like paper towels and dish soap.

Perfect! The house was very clean and well stocked.There is not a bad view in the house. From the living room, you see no other houses, just the beach. Each room has an awesome view of the beach.The master bedroom was awesome: large, gorgeous view, cool shower and tub, two sinks...The layout of the downstairs is very accommodating for a lot of people. Air conditioning worked great! Even in the upstairs loft.Plenty of refrigerator space wine refrigerator.Kitchen is large with lots of counter space.The windows were clean, so we could see the beach clearly. All the windows had automatic blinds to block out the sun.Literally as close to the beach as you can get. Very easy access.Lots of parking under the house.Called the property contact two times. Both calls were answered promptly, and the contact was very friendly. Since she could accommodate the extra time, the property manager gave us early checkin and late checkout.There were extra camping chairs available.If I have to suggest improvements:-Remind guests of Galveston's "Leave no trace" program.-The bath towels were neatly folded on the bed; two people took a shower and had no bath towel because they were in the bedroom.

Unfortunately, the home did not match the description or photos provided in the listing, and several significant issues greatly impacted our experience. The location is perfect but everything else was lacking. Upon arrival, we found that the house was not clean and was infested with roaches. The porch bannisters appeared unsafe, creating a safety concern. There were no cleaning supplies available for guests to maintain the property during our stay. Additionally, the outdoor furniture was rusted and unusable, and the upstairs shower in the queen bedroom did not work.These issues resulted in a stay that fell well below the standard that was advertised and expected. Based on the condition of the property and the numerous maintenance and cleanliness concerns. Tried reaching out to the property management and did not get a response.

Great location

Location is excellent and beautiful sunrises. On the beach and near downtown - the location drives the five star rating. As others have mentioned the maintenance, if completed, would make the interior of the house equal to the location. Door handles ( especially master and back door), light bulbs and 2nd floor non master bathroom toilet and shower door. A couple more outdoor seats would be great as there are only four and we had 10 family members with us.

The location of the house is great. The space was perfect for 5 adults. We did have air conditioning issues in the loft bedroom area and the bedroom below it. I would definitely consider staying here again as long as they fixed the air conditioning issues. My adult son had to sleep on the couch.

Grand beach house on West Beach on Galveston Island TX

The beach house is right on the gulf in a very special little enclave called Spanish Grant on Galveston Island. Location is perfect--about 150 feet from water at high tide. Evolve is great to work with and they have made a number of improvements. The neighborhood is quiet and the beach is not crowded. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children (ages 9 and 11) and there was plenty of space inside and out (open deck and covered deck). Galveston is a fun place to visit with plenty of things to see and do. Our beach house rental was the perfect place to enjoy beach and Galveston easily. We had previously rented this beach house last summer (2024) under different management so we are repeat renters because we like it so much.

Great Location

Property location was fantastic-not too far from Galveston, directly on beach, amazing views from everywhere in the house! Disappointed with not having at least a few household items to get started-dishwasher detergent, a few laundry pods, cleaning wipes. Also did not have enough towels in the house to have at least one for each of us. Extremely poor communication with guest contact. Sent multiple emails with no response. Attempted to confirm there was in fact a travel crib as stated in the property description, no responses. Once at property my brother came with his 9 month old and there was no travel crib. Contacted property management group, Evolve, they said they were waiting to hear from the property owner and could not do anything to remedy the situation. We had to go to Walmart and purchase a pack and play. lldaughter

Plenty of kitchen items available, but we still brought plastic ware for ease of use. Right off the beach for easy access. No cars allowed on the beach in front of the property. Great views both east and west down the beach. A/C worked well...comfortable both night and day. Within a mile of a quick mart and within a few miles to Walmart and Kroger. Very close to Moody Gardens, where we spend a day. This was a family vacation for my 3 adult children and their families. Everyone had a great time and loved the house.

The house was absolutely beautiful and the views from all of the rooms were priceless. This is the 3rd oceanfront property we've rented in the last 3 years and this one was the best by far. I also love the Spanish Grant subdivision where it's located. We had private beaches and no daytrippers were allowed. The kitchen was huge and opens up to the large living room. I give this property 5 and I will definitely book this property again next year. If you have a large family, then this property is perfect.

The house was absolutely front row beautiful and perfect. I have stayed at a lot of beach houses. This is one of the cleanest if not the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. The hostess was so accommodating. And we even rearranged to come in one day early and they helped us with that so easy. The transition was so easy. I’ve never had such a wonderful stay in Galveston and I go 2 to 3 times a year. Thank you very much. We will definitely try to book this house again. The views are spectacular. In the mornings, you wake up East facing and the twilight and sunrise is right there as you’re waking up. It’s gorgeous. The breeze in the evenings the way the house sits you get it from all directions so comfortable. Beautiful place.
