Unfortunately, the home did not match the description or photos provided in the listing, and several significant issues greatly impacted our experience. The location is perfect but everything else was lacking. Upon arrival, we found that the house was not clean and was infested with roaches. The porch bannisters appeared unsafe, creating a safety concern. There were no cleaning supplies available for guests to maintain the property during our stay. Additionally, the outdoor furniture was rusted and unusable, and the upstairs shower in the queen bedroom did not work.These issues resulted in a stay that fell well below the standard that was advertised and expected. Based on the condition of the property and the numerous maintenance and cleanliness concerns. Tried reaching out to the property management and did not get a response.

Amazing beach house!

This house was perfect for my family of 9. The location was absolutely amazing.....steps away from the beach. Beautiful views from every window in the house. Any questions I had about the house was quickly answered by Juanita. She was a pleasure to work with.Totally enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location

The location of this property is amazing! Ypu can not beat viwes. 20 steps to the beach. Iys needs some TLC but would not keep us from staying again.

Great Location

Location was great, very quiet spot on the beach. The waves were very cathartic and you can see them from the master bedroom. Very spacious place with lots of beds. We especially loved the eagles nest bunk room with a great view. We struggled with the lack of working doorknobs and basic amenities like paper towels and dish soap.

The location of the house is great. The space was perfect for 5 adults. We did have air conditioning issues in the loft bedroom area and the bedroom below it. I would definitely consider staying here again as long as they fixed the air conditioning issues. My adult son had to sleep on the couch.

Great location

Location is excellent and beautiful sunrises. On the beach and near downtown - the location drives the five star rating. As others have mentioned the maintenance, if completed, would make the interior of the house equal to the location. Door handles ( especially master and back door), light bulbs and 2nd floor non master bathroom toilet and shower door. A couple more outdoor seats would be great as there are only four and we had 10 family members with us.

Grand beach house on West Beach on Galveston Island TX

The beach house is right on the gulf in a very special little enclave called Spanish Grant on Galveston Island. Location is perfect--about 150 feet from water at high tide. Evolve is great to work with and they have made a number of improvements. The neighborhood is quiet and the beach is not crowded. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children (ages 9 and 11) and there was plenty of space inside and out (open deck and covered deck). Galveston is a fun place to visit with plenty of things to see and do. Our beach house rental was the perfect place to enjoy beach and Galveston easily. We had previously rented this beach house last summer (2024) under different management so we are repeat renters because we like it so much.

Great Location

Property location was fantastic-not too far from Galveston, directly on beach, amazing views from everywhere in the house! Disappointed with not having at least a few household items to get started-dishwasher detergent, a few laundry pods, cleaning wipes. Also did not have enough towels in the house to have at least one for each of us. Extremely poor communication with guest contact. Sent multiple emails with no response. Attempted to confirm there was in fact a travel crib as stated in the property description, no responses. Once at property my brother came with his 9 month old and there was no travel crib. Contacted property management group, Evolve, they said they were waiting to hear from the property owner and could not do anything to remedy the situation. We had to go to Walmart and purchase a pack and play. lldaughter

The house was absolutely front row beautiful and perfect. I have stayed at a lot of beach houses. This is one of the cleanest if not the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. The hostess was so accommodating. And we even rearranged to come in one day early and they helped us with that so easy. The transition was so easy. I’ve never had such a wonderful stay in Galveston and I go 2 to 3 times a year. Thank you very much. We will definitely try to book this house again. The views are spectacular. In the mornings, you wake up East facing and the twilight and sunrise is right there as you’re waking up. It’s gorgeous. The breeze in the evenings the way the house sits you get it from all directions so comfortable. Beautiful place.
