The house sits close enough to the ocean to see the waves, and sometimes see dolphins play while having your morning coffee.

Welcome to Blue Moon Beach House — a rare Outer Banks retreat where soothing ocean breezes, ethereal pastel sunrises, and starlit nights meet modern comfort. Nestled along the pristine Cape Hatteras National Seashore, this 7-bedroom, 6.5-bath oceanfront home offers panoramic views, a private pool with optional heating, hot tub, game room, home theater, and elevator — all designed for gatherings of family and friends.



From the deck, you can sip your morning coffee while watching dolphins play in the surf. By day, collect seashells then splash in the pool. By night, relax in the hot tub under an endless sky of stars. At Blue Moon, every moment feels magical.

--- Exception for 2026 - due to a rare summer opening, July 4th and 5th can be booked separately at The Blue Moon, and can be extended to three days at the beach by also staying on the 6th, if desired. The 4th of July celebration in Avon includes a fireworks display over the beautiful Cape Hatteras National Seashore beach, at 9pm. It's very cool to see fireworks over the ocean at the beach.
