Wonderful stay

The property was very nice, consistent with the description. Communication was great! The upstairs was hot, and we used the fans to help cool it down, but A/C would be nice (we know that is not common). Overall a great stay!!

The views were incredible and location was amazing. We loved having our little sunset moment overlooking the sea and walking to the magical Hideaways Beach. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved Poipu!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo! When needing something, housekeeping was quick to accommodate. The maintenance team was helpful too. Location was very nice as we loved walking to the beaches and across to the pool and plaza. We loved that we could watch both sunrise and sunset from our beach. We had a wonderful stay.

Simple maintenance never performed prior to arrival to ensure satisfaction. Dead bugs in the rental and all over screens. Potable air conditioners were not working upon arrival. Had to research error codes and try to fix them myself. Bottom air started working but upstairs did not. Have never done this as renter before and never expect perfection but left after one night. Host not willing to work with me on even partial refund despite the lack of care to ensure a welcoming stay and check for basic cleanliness and items advertised functioning. VRBO lost a customer as well.

Breathtaking views, outstanding property!

We have been to the island five times, and this was our second time in Princeville. The first thing I said as we walked in the door and down the steps was, "Oh, my...can you believe that?" The view from the balcony is the best I've ever seen, marked by the mountains on the left and ocean for as far as you can see. As they say, you can't move the property. But the home itself was remarkable as well. We had everything we needed, from comfortable beds to sundries to all the beach equipment we needed, including snorkeling gear. All the kitchen equipment is in great shape, unlike what you sometimes find in vacation rentals. Very tastefully decorated. The location is perfect. The market is just a short drive away and you can walk down to the beach (it's about a 15 minute walk). I highly recommend this property and I hope to be back next year!

Perfect location and amazing views

This condo was amazing. Comfortable beds. Beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. The private beach is just outside your door is a treat! Gorgeous! The condo cools off a lot at night and with the fan we slept great! We arrived late at night so because it was so dark it wasnā€™t easy finding the condo. The listing needs to include the building number to go along with the condo number for future guests. Also, please note that the light switches for the kitchen/dining area are on the side of the kitchen cabinets and not on the wall like usual light switches and the lamps/light switches are connected. When we arrived it was so dark and had to use flashlights to locate the random light switches in the kitchen and to turn on the switches and the coordinating lamps. A little aggravating when youā€™ve been flying for 15 hours and canā€™t find any working lights . The cleaning crew came by twice before our checkout time of 10am (8am and 9:30am) which was a little annoying. Let guests check out before you send your cleaning crew. It made us feel unnecessarily rushed and uncomfortable. Overall great stay and would come again!

Lovely view. Comfortable condo.

The view is what you come here for. Absolutely stunning. The lanai is a lovely place for morning coffee, sunset cocktails and listening to the surf at night. Condo is comfortable but it can get very hot, especially in bedroom upstairs. The afternoon sun heats the main room and the lack of screens on front door limits the amount of cross-breeze. I'm not an AC person but it was hot enough in October to need it. Good location in Princeville; near Hideaway beach for those up to the challenge of walking down to it; going for coffee or a drink at 1 Hotel down the street is a nice outing. Beach below resort is quite rocky and not very swimmable when we were there. Beach chairs and umbrella are in need of replacing. One of the 3 chairs was completely broken, as was the umbrella. Provisions on hand were meager (as in no or unusable salt, no sugar for morning coffee, etc.). Not expecting much but do expect the bare minimum. A quick trip to Costco is needed. Nice welcome basket on arrival with coffee, granola, etc. which was much appreciated. Vacasa is very good; easy to work with. We had problems with the lock and the person after hours was very patient with us on the phone telling us how to access the condo.

Great stay

Beautiful setting, an easy hike down to Ashley Beach for excellent snorkeling. Nene greeted us each morning, and phenomenal sunsets ended our days.

Bali Hai Lookout

This condo has a fantastic view, perhaps one of the best in the whole country. The place was well decorated and full of wonderful amenities, including: booggie boards, chairs, a cooler and towels. I tried to contact the manager via Vrbo/Vacassa three times to check on beach equipment prior to departure, but received no reply. Like most Hawaii condos there were no spices other than salt and pepper, however, the kitchen and cleaning supplies were great. This is a truly wonderful place with and easy to maintain. Kauai is now "over touristed" (our 8th visit) and having a great place to just think and veg made our romantic vacation worth the trip. Aloha

One of the best views on the island

I don't think I've ever woken up to a better view in my life. seriously. The unit itself is great and serves its purpose - a place to sleep and eat a few meals while going out and enjoying the beautiful island - but the view alone is why I will be rebooking this unit next time I come! Highly recommend.
