This beautiful oceanfront home has a new crofter that will accommodate the 5th Bedroom and loft! |New kitchen with granite, new cabinets, new baths, hard wood flooring, and all bathrooms upgraded with all new materials, new carpet throughout & more!

Stunning ocean views of South Beach and sunsets with the sound of crashing waves will invite you to stay at the Hartshorn House. Great for Families with children. . Private beach access. Beautiful wall of glass doors overlooks ocean. Great screened-in porch. Gorgeous ceramic tile in living and dining areas downstairs. Large living area.

Master has a King bed, private deck. Guest rooms have: 2 twins and 1 Queen bed. 1 Bunk bed . 1 Queen - In new Crofter plus tent size loft great for kids (2 twins in loft) Sleeps 10 total.

Three 4-passenger golf carts. We do not maintain or advertise bicycles at the home, you may rent bikes at Riverside Adventure or Coastal Urge on the Island. A BHI Club Membership is available but not included. 3 Day Stay stays off season are available, please inquire for details and rates. Taxes are not included, and are an additional 12.75%

Great Thanksgiving Week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great - the house gave us plenty of space to spread out and the one issue we had with a golf cart was dealt with very quickly!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'm hesitant to leave this review because I don't want to give away our new found gem! This house was perfect for our family of 9- great layout and plenty of space. The management company is fantastic! We are already planning our next trip :)

Rod always responded to my questions with quick text answers. The house was perfect for us, the carts worked great, the views beautiful. Everything in the house worked great for our needs. It was so cinvenient to get to the beach, to rinse off coming back (warm water at the outside shower). We had a wonderful week at Hartshorn!!

Wonderful week in bald Head

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 10 adults for a week at Hartshorn! We loved the house! Loved the location and especially loved the private walkway to the beach!!! The house was perfect for us! The only complaint we would have would be the beach chairs ... we wished we had brought our own. The ones at the house were more like picnic chairs and not reclining / low beach chairs. Otherwise, everything was wonderful... we lived on the screened in porch!! We hope to get back to Bald Head soon :). Thank you for the awesome house

Eventful vacation and beautiful home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an interesting vacation this year. We rented the Hartshorn House based on bedrooms, additional alcove, location on the island and proximity to the beach. First, this is one of the most beautiful beach homes in which we've ever stayed. It's warm and welcoming and beautifully decorated. Our plans involved staying through Halloween week/weekend and taking in beach activities around the island. Unfortunately, one of our young twin grand-daughters became ill. We had to rush her off the island very late at night. The rest of us cut our trip short and we ended up leaving early. The rental folks were beyond empathetic and accommodating as we had to change our plans. They were just so kind to us. And, that meant more to us than just about anything else - other than our grand-daughter getting better! I would recommend the Hartshorn House for larger families. The house is beautiful and the alcove is awesome. The location is stunning and feels private. Mosey up a boardwalk and a small dune and there you are at the ocean. It's just a magical place to be! And, the rental folks are exceptional.
