This gorgeous two story prow front log home offers dramatic ceiling to floor windows, sunken living room with 30 foot high cathedral ceilings, large timber beams, and a majestic stonework fireplace. Wood, limestone and slate floors throughout.

Beautiful front and back views feature mountain tops and rock outcroppings. Four unique bedrooms include two master bedrooms and 3 Ā½ bathrooms . All are tastefully designed to delight the senses and soothe the soul. Sleeps eleven people comfortably. Large open designer/gourmet kitchen with black granite counter tops has state of the art fixtures and stainless steel appliances. Large loft area, office, two car garage, and three outdoor decks complete the 3900 square foot home.


Enjoy the rich Hudson River heritage and discover the hidden waterfalls and abundant wildlife that are in the surrounding area. Quaint towns like Stone Ridge, Woodstock, High Falls [established in the 1600's] and Rhinebeck which offer shopping and great restaurants are just minutes away.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was a wonderful retreat from the city! It fit a rather large group us very comfortably and was so close to so many wonderful day hikes and fun towns. I would highly recommend this place and all of us who stayed here are eager to get back here again!

This house is even more beautiful in person. We were a party of 12 and were beyond comfortable! The house was spotless, very well decorated and had all the comforts of home. And the setting is serene. Highly recommend staying here, we hope to the next time we are in the area.

Wonderful Stay

Ravenscliff was such a great place for our family vacation, we cannot wait to book again! The kids were so happy to explore the lush nature on the property and it was such a sweet surprise to wake up to deer in the morning! This cabin felt like a home away from home. It was clean, decorated beautifully, spacious with state of the art appliances, and we loved the location. Itā€™s a perfect place for a family reunion, and for a holiday getaway. Cabin from Heaven

What an amazing place to stay! We had the best time in this spiritual oasis tucked in the woods. The rooms were so cozy and provided us will everything we needed. The bathrooms were spacious (especially the one with the jacuzzi). The living room was inviting with its beautiful fireplace and we even indulge in an outdoor bonfire with sā€™mores! We have found our special place to come every year for our annual trip. Thanks again for such a great getaway Ravenscliff!

Amazing Birthday Weekend

We rented Ravencliff to celebrate my 50th birthday weekend. We were three families and the house held us wonderfully. Lots of space and spaces for different things - the chefs, the fire tenders, the puzzle doers and the snow players. Kathy was a great host and provided all the info we needed for a great stay. Gorgeous Property!

Our VRBO fell through last minute. Kathy went above and beyond to help us get rebooked here. How fortunate for us to end up in this beautiful home! Our adult children and spouses each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The home was immaculate. We were busy with a family reunion nearby, and our only regret is that we didnā€™t spend more time here! We would gladly return!

Amazing!

Words can't describe how perfect this little slice of heaven is. I travelled with two other couples for a much needed getaway. Each couple had their own bathroom. The space is so tranquil - we set up a yoga area in the upstairs loft - it was perfect. We barely left the property instead preferring to cook in the amazing kitchen and sit my the firepit in the evenings. Kathy was wonderful. Highly recommend. You won't find a better spot!

Perfect and peaceful for a weekend retreat

The Ravenscliff house was an amazing and peaceful home perfect for a weekend get away or a reunion of friends and family. The energy throughout the house and the layout is perfect for entertaining with a large and open kitchen and living area equipped with an indoor fireplace. We laughed about how most of our time was spent gathered in the kitchen and outback around the firepit. Some of us decided to take a nice leisurely hike on one of the local trails nearby but for the most part we found no need to leave. We enjoyed exploring the property and relaxing out back. All of us enjoyed our time here and hope to come back soon.

Wow!

Ravenscliffe is absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do justice! Open floor plan with chefs kitchen. Huge master suite with a spa like master bath. Had plans to go to hunter mountain and stayed home instead to enjoy the house more. Kathy is so kind and answered right away every time I reached out to her. Thank you Kathy!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

My friends and I had an amazing fall weekend at Ravenscliff! The house is very spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and bathrooms are excellently appointed and up to date. We had many nights comfortably lounging by the fire in the beautiful living room. Kathy was very responsive and even reached out during our stay to let us know of a nearby hiking trail that had just opened that weekend. Olivebridge is well located close by to great towns like Woodstock, Stone Ridge, and High Falls. During our stay we hiked at Kaaterskill Falls (busy but highly suggested), tasted cider at Westwind Orchard, and shopped all the great little stores in Woodstock. We are looking forward to returning next year!!!

When a house is rarely soooo perfect, better than the photos and review I hesitate to review because I want to keep it a "best secret"....but Kathy is such a wonderful host and has a pristine and cozy elegant home that I just had to write this for others who would appreciate art, beauty, graciousness and care in a home that they will rent. One can see a lifetime of collection of textiles and other objects of art all around the house, the kitchen is perfectly stocked, laundry room was large and easy, bedrooms are large, have cozy beds and sheets...and the bathrooms are pristine and beautiful. Kathy is a perfect host, kind and communicative.

Beautiful home and very well appointed and curated. Ravensclaw is at the higher end of rentals, yet very reasonably priced. You do not need to bring anythingā€¦ except your stress (which will quickly fade away...). We look forward to staying here again very soon.

Beautiful comfortable spacious

Amazing every little detail this house is fantastic! the beds the sheets the furniture the exotic decorations so spacious and comfortable. We stayed for a Suny New Paltz graduation and it was about 30 mins from the school. 11 of us all plenty of room. Canā€™t beat the scenic property.

Marty was born in England and raised in Canada. I was born in NY and was a teacher in Ethiopia. We met in Miami and during our travels fell in love with the unique rustic beauty and strong spiritual aura of this special property. We built this log home from scratch and every inch of it was designed to be a pleasing, healing and functional retreat from the outside world. We love to see the wildlife that share this magical space with us, deer, foxes, black bears, flying squirrels, and birds, lots of birds. We also love music and have small percussion instruments along with bongos and a full drum set for our guests to enjoy. The large loft space is perfect for meditation, dance and/or yoga exercises. We have created the best and we aim to rent to the best-conscious, responsible, creative, spiritual people who appreciate nature, art, music, quality and a beautiful home. They will find a loving, peaceful space to replenish their spirit and take care of this home as if it were their own special Shrangri-La.

We believe it is one of the most picturesque places we have traveled to, rural yet sophisticated, peaceful yet interesting, authentic and historic. I love the independent thinkers and creative people who are drawn here. Willem Dafoe, Uma Thurman, Rachel Weisz, Robert Deniro, David Bowie, and Levon Helms [to name just a few] all currently live in the area. It is just a very cool place with a very interesting history and tons of marvelous things to do.
