Great Family Vacation

We had a great week! The unit was clean and it was easy to communicate with owners and the staff there. The Edgewater had everything you could need in one place and wouldn’t have had to leave for anything during the week unless you wanted! It was great for adults, teens, and children.

View was amazing,we were on the 3 rd floor that help because the elevator was very slow and only one working,there is a smell in the master shower,but overall the manager was very helpful.

The views were stunning from this unit. Beautiful beach, crystal clear water. Checkin was easy. Security at Edgewater is impressive. The complex is beautiful and feels like a resort. The kitchen was sparsely stocked with glassware and silverware. One garbage bag was available for a 10 night stay. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper was available, we had to buy more. Lighting was very poor in living room and bedroom.. Sink in master beedroom bathroom drained extremely slow. The bed was uncomfortable and had a raised hump in the middle.

Nice stay

Over all the place was perfect for a couple. I will say they really need to invest in another mattress. One week on that mattress was tough. Master bath shower has issue, tends to hold water and you have to use your foot to move water down to the drain. I do like this end of panama better because it is not as busy.

Good Location

Some updates have been done to the unit but furniture needs to be updated/replaced. Older couches and chair in living room. Minimal furniture on balcony. Convenient location on the 3rd floor. Main bedroom is very large and it was convenient to have washer and dryer in unit. Overall, good experience!

The room was nice, but furniture, and barstools along with chair seats ALL needed to be deep cleaned. There was no broom so the sand that came into unit was suppose to be vacuumed I suppose. Doesn’t work well. There are drain flies that come from bathroom fungus that was in the showers. The mirror was not clean, it showed gray streaks. The whole unit needs to b sanitized. If it was it would be a fantastic place to stay! Location was nice as well! Me personally I will not be visiting Panama City again no time soon. Just not alot of excursions and overpriced for what you get.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the view and the price was affordable. It was a bit disappointing when we had a fire alarm test the first day and the intercom buzzed the remainder of our stay. My daughter who was given the sofa bed had to stay in a family members condo because the noise was so annoying and loud. I called three times and one email, but after the first time they came, they just didn’t return when we needed help.

Beautiful, Updated Room

This unit was beautiful and nicely updated. We love Edgewater and stay at least once a year with our extended family, so we have seen our fair share of units. This unit was one of our favorites so far. We had plenty of room for our immediate family of 4. The bedroom was spacious enough to accommodate a pack-n-play for our one-year-old and a blow up mattress for our three-year-old with plenty of room to spare. The pools are always clean, and the property as a whole is maintained better than most other places we’ve stayed. Plus, the location is excellent!

Not wonderful

Property wonderful and a million dollar view. Shower didn’t drain...they did send someone to get the huge clog out but still has a puddle that didn’t drain. Hallway lights blinked, bed was terrible, and there was dust bunnies on the floor and hanging from ceiling. All vents needed cleaning.

Condo was awesome, the view was awesome!! The air conditioning thermostat would not turn down to my nightly desired temperature, it was locked out at no lower than 65 , I could live with that ok, but the bedroom was much warmer than the rest of the condo for some reason. Then the second day my wife and I was on the balcony relaxing and we noticed a man wandering around our condo, I confronted him and he asked where the leak was that we reported… I told him we had no leak and we haven’t reported anything, then he starts taking pictures of the ceilings gets on his phone and leaves. Then also during our stay we were called and ask if they could bring a potential buyer for the condo in during our stay because it is for sale….We denied!! When we rent a condo, we expect to have our privacy the whole time, unless it is a real emergency leave us alone!!

It had huge craters in the mattress and was the worst bed we have ever slept on. There were 2 forks in the unit. The shower didn't drain in the master well, but was clean. The toilet seat was broken and was supposed to be repaired but we never had anyone come by. There was no dust pan to clean the floors. We were able to do an early check in which was a really nice option. Overall, the view was amazing, it was a great location to the pools and the beach and the restaurant onsite was top notch! Elevators even on a busy week were great.

Very good!

We loved our condo! Perfect location and very close to the stairs! We enjoyed having the option to just go up and down, or take the elevator if bringing the wagon to the beach! My only negative would be the bed was kinda rough, but it wasn’t terrible! Our door code changed 4 hours after check in, so 9:30 on Saturday night and I started to panic with a 4 year old and 1 year old, buttttt Emerald rentals did an awesome job of calling us right back and getting it handled!!! We had no other problems the rest of the trip with the door code!

Nice condo, furniture not good

The condo is very nice and clean however, the sofa and loveseat looked very dirty and smelled really bad. The mattress is going down hill on the left side so you must lay in the center of the bed OR roll off of it. We put an extra comforter on the sofa so we could sit down. Such a shame because the condo is actually very pretty. No fault of the owner but when we arrived they were having the Ironman competition taking over half the parking lot. We couldn’t get to our tower and had to wait until they finally cleared away. They cancelled the competition because of the rain thank goodness or our whole weekend would have been putting up with that mess and parking far away from our entrance door.

Bad bed

The bed in this unit was the worst that we have ever experienced and we travel a lot. The sofa and bed both needed to be replaced. They feel like they have been there since the unit was built in the 90s. The appliances were all new, but the furniture needs attention!!! Edgewater is a great place otherwise.I had spoke to the manager about the TV situation there and was told that they had cable. Not… I work for a cable company for 45 years and the only TV service in the unit was Roku. Very limited channels. Please be truthful when asked in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall Meeehh. All the necessities were there but the space felt worn out. Mattress on the master bed was uncomfortable and the master shower was not useable. However, the second bathroom was great. The curtains had to stay closed in the bedroom and the door HAD to stay open to even remotely cool down. The ice maker only dumped once while we were there and the furniture on the balcony was literally rusting away. We also had to make sure someone was in the room between like 730pm to 6-ish AM or ran the risk of being locked out because the code wouldn’t work.

Location was amazing but we had a couple of problems

The location of this property, and the complex itself is amazing. The condo is larger than we expected, and the view was awesome. As stated in previous reviews, the master bedroom is very warm and doesn't cool down much. The AC vents do not seem to be working in there. We had to leave the drapes closed to the view the entire week, and leave the door open just to make it sleepable at night. My main complaint however is that we were bothered 4 different times during our week (once to hang required signage to prepare for fire marshall inspection, once for the exterminator, once to replace a couple of outlets that didn't meet code, and once for the fire marshall inspection). I understand that all of that needed to be taken care of; however, that seems a little excessive for 1 week. Also, when the property management company texted to state they would be there, I asked them to reschedule. They ignored my return text and came anyway. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was so beautiful and the views were stunning. It is right on the beach. You have ocean views from the living and bedrooms. The condo was clean and comfortable. The door code locked me out after a couple of times it worked, but the management company responded in less than 5 minutes with a new working code. The pools and hot tubs were clean and in good working order. The restaurant on site was delicious but slow. I would definitely stay here again.
