Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Jeanne. We are genuinely sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. Providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests is very important to us, and we appreciated the opportunity to address the concerns you brought to our attention during your stay. When you let us know about the sink stopper, we personally came to the condo and repaired it that day. When you later expressed concerns about the patio furniture, we requested photos simply so we could see the condition and determine the best way to address it. After seeing the photos, we purchased new patio furniture that same day, drove to the condo, and replaced it. We were happy to receive your message afterward saying the new furniture was “lovely.” We would also like to respectfully clarify that we were not aware the smoke detector had become detached during your stay, and unfortunately this was not brought to our attention until after checkout. Had we known, we absolutely would have addressed it immediately, just as we did with every other concern brought to our attention. When we returned to the condo after checkout, we found the detector sitting on the bedroom dresser and promptly corrected the issue. We also acknowledge that the refrigerator water and ice dispenser had been intentionally disconnected because of previous concerns with water-line leaks. We apologized during your stay that this had not been communicated beforehand. We took your feedback seriously and have since added a Brita filtered-water dispenser and ice trays to the freezer so future guests have convenient access to filtered water and can make ice during their stay. We truly regret that, despite our efforts, your overall experience was disappointing. We care deeply about our property and the experience of the families who stay with us. Whenever a concern is brought to our attention, our goal is to listen, respond quickly, and make it right whenever possible. We appreciate your feedback and have already used it to make improvements for our future guests.
