Spring Break is calling!~ Perfect time to plan that beach getaway!

Moonraker is a great condo complex for families on a budget. It's nestled right in the heart of Gulf Shores and just right across the street from the beach! Each unit has its own assigned and covered parking place. There is an outdoor pool for you to enjoy, plus you are just a few steps away from restaurants, parks, shopping centers, and many other fun activities! A coin-operated laundry facility is also on site for your convenience.

Inside the unit, the bedroom has a queen bed. There is a TV in the living area with cable. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, plates, glasses, and everything you need to prepare a great meal with family.

No elevator in this complex

Any reservations made prior to October 1st for the Winter Season (January and February) require a 60 day (two month) minimum. Reservations made that do not meet this criteria are subject to cancellation by management. After October 1st, reservations may be made for the winter months at a minimum of three or seven nights, depending on unit specifications.

Additional Information:
Vehicle Registration Tags are required and may be purchased upon arrival or by contacting our office directly. 2 cars maximum.
Linens are provided however, please bring your own beach towels
The reservation includes a "starter set" of hand soap, 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, 1 trash bag per trash can, and 1 roll of paper towels.

Nice little condo

We loved our condo and it was close to the beach. Just the right size and we enjoyed the pool also! Will definitely stay again.

Poor exterior condition

No cable the whole stay trim broken in master bedroom blind broken deck outside was horrible and curled up exterior planks very unsafe was clean though i guess that’s a plus

The owner could do some small maintenance tasks to make things nicer but for the price, it’s great!

It wouldn’t hurt for someone to put some batteries in the clocks, fix the faucet in the bathroom, but a new bedspread of better quality, along with linens, put a couple of chairs on the deck, and repair or replace the safety handle in the shower.

Not good

My daughter fell through the deck. Someone was to come fix it the next day. But on Friday the day we were to leave someone came to so call fix it. Every time we used the stove the firer alarm would go off. I was not happy with anyone in the office. We will not be going back here or sending anyone to stay here.

Horrible Experience

We had a horrible experience from the moment we walked in. First, when we arrived there was no pull out couch like the listing had advertised. There was just a regular couch. And a bed. The bed had BED BUGS, which we are now dealing with a month later. The door in the bedroom closet literally was off the hinges. It fell on my husband when he went to open it. And when we decided to leave the next morning and ask for a refund to which the manager said he would give me, was only for one night which wasn’t even a quarter of what we paid. Also the excuse for the lack of change in the listing that said it sleeps 4, the property manager said there was a blow up mattress in the unit to make up for the couch not being pull out as it was advertised. There was sand everywhere in the bathroom and the back porch was in dilapidated conditions with paint and materials just lying around. I’ve stayed at moonrsker before in a different condo and had a great experience but this u it was absolutely horrible. Save yourself the disappointment!

Cute little place

Perfect size for my family of 3. Great area and super close to the ocean. We got A LOT of rain with the tropical storm that came in and they jump in action to get the parking lot drained.

Every time is rains the parking lot floods. We had to wade through shin deep water to get from our car to the stairs of the condo.

Great little place for the price,

Nice place to be in walking distance of the beach. It had been Remodeled recently, but the back deck is very rotten and one of the side railings was easily pushed away from the deck into the next condos area. The details needed to be updated as we had four adults and it was supposed To have a pull out couch according to the listing and one bed . The couch was nice and new , but not a pullout . We found a blowup bed in the closet and had to use it, which took up most of the kitchen and living space .All in all it is nice for three people in the back deck needs repairs.

I’ve stayed in a few condos at moonraker and have had great experiences. Really quaint, right across the rd from the beach, close enough to everything, not breaking the bank.. love.

great for the money

I was pleasantly surprised to be able to see the water (not beach) from the unit. It was an easy walk to the beach, even with small kids. The unit is small, but worked well for a family with small kids. There is no dishwasher, so bring dish liquid if you plan to use the dishes. Also, pans are not non-stick, so cooking spray is suggested if you plan to use them. My wife sent me out for some mid-pancakes. My only complaint was some broken tiles in the kitchen where the pieces were no longer attached. The kids kept trying to play with the pieces and I was afraid they would cut themselves or lose the pieces. It is not the best or newest condo ever (in fact could use some updating) but for the money and location it is quite nice. I hope to stay here again next year.

Family Vacay Covid 2020

We had a great time. Check in process was smooth and easy. Definitely an older building so Definitely an older building so general wear and tear that comes with that. Property managers checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. As a small family of four, we enjoyed the quietness and low density of the location. Beach access was perfect. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay.

Update

Location was great. The Unit could use some major updates. Tile in bathroom and kitchen broke or cracked. Carpet look like something from the late nineties. Cable for tv running under the carpet and cable plate just hanging off the wall. The deck was in very poor condition boards loose someone could have got hurt. The boards on the deck going to the unit are in very bad shape some of the boards were broke. Needs some major updates and repairs.

Things aren’t what they seem.

We had a good time the walk to the beach is short and nice. The air conditioner works great! The washer left my clothes still soaked and the dryer didn’t work at all so I had to hang my clothes. Which would have been fine if I had planned for that. The AC filters where very dirty and there was nails sting up on the walk way and there where super loose boards on the back deck. I don’t think we will ever be back.

We love Gulf Shores

The place we stayed was nasty and needed tons of work to even make it acceptable. There was black mold around the pool and on the walkways I can’t believe the health department doesn’t shut them down
