Perfect slope side rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Snowed Inn is wonderful! This was our 2nd time staying here and we will be back again next year. It truly feels like a home away from home. One of my only recommendations is to provide salt to throw out on icy conditions.upon arrival, the sidewalk was icy and right at the step to the porch was a huge chunk of ice. Very unsafe and not fun for making several trips to unload the cars. We tried breaking it up with a shovel but it was too solid. I faintly remember that being an issue on our first visit as well.

Family perfect house

We went skiing with our son and his two daughters, ages 12 and 9. Hadn’t been to Canaan Valley before and fell in love with it’s natural beauty and the many activities available. Snowed Inn is a lovely, welcoming home near Canaan Valley ski area with plenty of room to enjoy each other’s company and yet privacy is possible too. We will book early next year to assure that this great place is available.

We apologize that the hot tub had a mechanical issue however we want folks to know that the owners purchased a new hot tub. The new tub is reported to be fantastic. Come check it out.

Reviewer Comments: Great house - well appointed - clean and comfortable - helpful rental staff too / The only downside is Timberline resort/ we’ve been coming to this resort for a family ski trip for years / this year it was sad to see how the bankrupt resort owners have turned what was a great winter destination into a mess / I feel bad for the property owners and the resort workers / will only come back if there is a new resort owner

Only complaints are no wood burning fireplace, super low flames on the gas fire, and please change out the bone-white LED lights to a softer yellow. It's like an operating room with that dead white light in every single fixture. But a very nice house, and the rental compnay is fantastic. Killer location.

We had friends stay at two different houses and although we were happy with Snowed Inn, the price we paid seemed high compared to the properties rented by our other friends. We did not feel we got what we paid for compared to the prices our friends paid. We did love the Pac-Man machine!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited the very end of August and had a nice stay. We were a group with two families meeting up for a mini vacation/reunion. The description of the house was accurate, the house was reasonably clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed so we could make most of our meals. Best of Canaan was very responsive and helpful. There are bigger more luxurious houses in the development but this one is a good value and had everything we needed. The large deck and hot tub were nice features. We would stay here again.
