This lovely, recently rejuvenated mountain home offers a perfect location for skiers of every age and skill level. Slope side on Timberline Mountain's famous Salamander Trail, The Haven perfect location for a weekend of hard-core skiing. Stop in to warm up and refuel. Staying slope side makes it all so easy! The Haven provides a garage for easy unpacking, so load up and get ready. There's no need to move the car. Just ski, eat, sleep, and repeat! The Haven offers 5 bedrooms and plenty of space for everyone to "chill". Enjoy family friendly food times. The kitchen is fully equipped to make meal prep easy. Let it snow, let it snow! You are in a place of safety with favorable conditions. Yes, this truly is The Haven! 4 or all wheel vehicles with great tires will be necessary for winter access to The Haven.

Can it get any better?

We’ve been going to Timberline for the last 30 years. Out of all the properties we’ve rented, The Haven is absolutely the best! Well maintained, perfect layout, on Salamander… Can’t get any better. The service was impeccable. Special thanks to the management team!

Great location on green slope

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The set up of bedrooms was perfect for our group. The location was perfect for our kids to ski the green slope and for stopping in easily for lunch. The steep driveway is the only thing we didn’t like about the house. Loved that they had boot warmers for the ski boots and gloves. Adding a hot tub to the deck would be a great addition to this house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely experience at The Haven. The house was spotless and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with. The gas fireplace was wonderful and the house was very warm and cozy. It was great to ski in/ski out, but getting up the hill to the slope was difficult. Owners should consider putting in steps on the side of the hill for safety or adding some landfill to make it easier to get onto the slope. Renters should also be aware that this house is at the top of an extremely steep slope and 4 wheel drive and snow tires are a must in the winter - don't take this lightly; performance tires won't cut it. The owners have done a really nice job of maintaining the house and have clearly put a lot of thought into it.

Our Winter Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location, clean, with a view of the Salamander Run. The kitchen is well equipped, and we cooked all our meals. Getting to the house was easy, if you have AWD. The driveway and last 50 yards of roadway to the house is steep. All in all a fun time and nice to be able to ski to the lift from the house!

Slopeside Fun!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was a great location on Salamander at Timberline. We had two families (4 adults and 7 children) who all were comfortable with plenty of space. House had easy kitchen with all common pots, pans, utensils, coffee pot. Warm, easy access to slopes (just walk outside)! Wi-Fi. I will say that you must heed to “4 wheel drive” vehicle in winter. We stayed on a snowy, cold weekend and one of our vehicles needed to be parked elsewhere while the 4 wheel drive vehicle ferried people to house. The last part of the road before driveway is steep. We loved our stay and would stay again.

Wonderful Weekend

We had a wonderful stay, the location is superb as well as the cleanliness of the property! Please note that you do need 4Wheel Drive or winter tires to access the property. The incline on the road leading up to the property is very steep as well as the driveway.

Great Ski-in/Ski-out Location!

Great location - ski-in/ski-out right next to Salamander Trail (green trail). Lots of room (5 bedrooms) to stay and good supply (i.e., dishwasher detergent, etc.) provided. Timberline doesn't have a lot of lifts but the new 6-person chair is extremely fast and trails here are long and wide. Would definitely come here again.
