West Michigan awaits! Book your stay now in this fully updated, three bedroom Mid Century Modern Ranch home. You'll feel relaxed, renewed and refreshed while enjoying this comfortable, colorful space that encourages you to leave your worries at the front door. A quick drive gets you to the resort towns of Saugatuck, Douglas and Fennville, as well as 5 public white sand beaches, amazing restaurants and unique boutique shopping opportunities. So close to everything, yet you'll feel a million miles away from it all when you choose to kick back and relax in this wooded hilltop hideaway.

Two decks provide outdoor living space for your rest and relaxation. The large deck has room to accommodate your whole group, and provides beautiful views of the Kalamazoo River, while the smaller deck is a nice, quiet space for a few of you to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee (or wine!)

The three bedrooms comfortably sleep six. Two more are allowed on a provided inflatable queen mattress in the common area (for an additional per person fee).

There is more than enough on-site parking available. Bringing a boat? No problem! There are two different boat launches within 2 miles, and plenty of room to park your trailer at the house, when you're done enjoying your day on the water.

Fantastic experience!

The property is wonderful, very comfortable and relaxing. The sunroom off the back of the house and the attached deck are definitely highlights! Wendi was great to work with, and very helpful with suggestions and recommendations of things to do and see in the area. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and would definitely come back again.

Will definitely stay again!

Our group was in town for a soccer tournament. We loved the house decor, location and amenities. This was one of the best stocked rentals we have stayed in. The house is sprawling and spacious, had everything we needed and had great communication from the host. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Family Getaway with Amazing Hosts!

We had an unforgettable family getaway at this charming home! It was perfect for our dogs and small children, with plenty of space and thoughtful touches. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The house is much bigger than it appears online, very well-stocked, and beautifully furnished. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Top tier property

Stayed two full days. Very nice home in the woods close to Douglas. Easy drives to area attractions. Clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped. Lots of seating and nice deck and sunroom. Only regret was lack of fenced area for dogs, which would have made our stay perfect, but plenty of space to take them out on leashes. One of the best properties we have stayed at.

Family Thanksgiving 2024

The house and the host were fabulous. The house is spacious and decorated in bright mid century decor. So cool! The house was also appointed with every conceivable amenity. Everything from extra toothbrushes to a free gift, to a fully appointed kitchen. Host was very communicative and flexible. She even came by to take the trash container down to the street and shovel the snow from the porch. Canā€™t recommend the property enough. Perhaps the best experience weā€™ve had among the dozens of VRBO rentals over the past 25 years!

Home Away From Home

Our family loved everything about our stay at the Hilltop Hideaway! The owners thought of everything we needed and included little, special touches and details around the house to make it feel like a home away from home. We fell in love with the pictures of this house in the listing, but it was even better in person. You could feel the love that went into making this a relaxing, vacation getaway. We loved the mid-century modern decor, appreciated all of the amenities that were included (very well-stocked kitchen), liked the layout of the ranch-style house, and enjoyed the beautiful sunroom eating meals, reading, playing board games, and viewing the Kalamazoo River. The location of this home was perfect and so close to local restaurants, shopping, beaches, trails, farmers' markets, and more in Saugatauk, Douglas, and Fennville. Wendi, one of the hosts, was very attentive and responded quickly to our questions and texts. We would highly recommend this home to our family and friends.
