We adhere to strict cleaning and disinfecting requirements in accordance with CDC guidelines. All towels and sheets are 100% cotton and washed in hot water with bleach and dried on high heat... Very clean and very comfortable. Self check-in is super easy.

Each of our three suites can enjoy their large private outdoor patio facing the beautiful backyard and located less than one block from a general convenience store which stocks numerous amenities, snacks and convenience items.

The Sunrise Cottage Suite offers two generous bed rooms with comfortable hand made queen-size pine beds, large closets, plus a comfortable pull-out sofa in the living room.

Two free reserved parking spaces for your convenience!

My husband and I got married just down the road from the cottage suites so this was a perfect location to have our family stay. We rented all three to fit everyone. The suites were gorgeous, super clean and exactly what we needed for a wedding weekend away! The entire process was very straight forward: from booking, to checking in and checking out. I highly recommend this cute and comfortable cottage suite. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds, small nightstands and closets. They also have updated plugs to handle all your electronic chargers. It is quiet and conveniently located. To get to the heart of town is approximately one and 1/2 miles, so we chose to drive each day and had minimal difficulty finding parking spots. John was an excellent host and handled all of our questions with ease.

The cleanest property I have ever stayed at! I have severe allergies, and John goes above and beyond, including temperature and humidity control for allergies. Very cozy residence for my husband, two grown daughters, and me. Bathroom a bit small, but the house is very well-maintained and makes great use of the space, including a basement with a picnic table, ping pong, bumper pool-type table. Close distance to town and convenience store down the road. We had a great time!

This cottage was perfect for our family of 4! Perfect location, exceptionally clean, we loved the games inside the cottage, the hosts thought of everything as far as amenities and kitchen supplies. Our only suggestion would be to provide an additional set of spoons for eating; there were only 4 spoons. Otherwise, all of our needs were met while we stayed, and we were able to walk right into downtown Saugatuck from the cottage! Would definitely stay again!

The sunrise cottage was a very cute place to stay! We went on a girls weekend and had a blast. The place was easy to find and is close to the boutique stores and restaurants. It's also close to the sunrise dune tour. The cottage was clean and had cute signs on things telling you what to do. It was very handy. I wish we were able to stay longer as we didn't really get to do much at the cottage. I would love to rent these again in the near future.

Providing visitors with a comfortable stay along with all the conveniences to make this your home away from home is our family’s mission.

We have come to love Saugatuck and consider it a magical place with each season bringing something special to enjoy.

For over 30 years our family has enjoyed the magic of Saugatuck from the Sunsets over the beaches, to the many restaurants and art stores, to the vineyards and orchards, to the dune rides, boat rides, kayaking, biking, hiking, just to name a few joys.

We wanted to have an opportunity to share the many joys that Saugatuck and it’s surrounding communities bring to those lucky enough to visit. The Johnson family undertook restoration of this midcentury cottage row structure now known as the “Saugatuck Cottage Suites,” located on the North end of Saugatuck directly across the street from the walking path to downtown Saugatuck.

We took feedback from many friends and family and provided all the conveniences for those with both an active lifestyle as well as those that want to kick back and relax. Based on feedback we have provided: a secure easy in/out access for people that bring their bikes as each unit has its own attached garage with electric doors; two picnic tables per unit; fully equipped kitchens; strong internet for those of us that need to check in for work or relax and stream some Netflix or check in with Facebook; and convenient walking to restaurants; art stores and down town Saugatuck; as well as two parking spaces per cottage suite so no one has to look for parking when arriving or returning from the beach, vineyards or orchards.

You can have any of these items in your hand in a couple minutes with no drive. All these items and more are available for you just across the street at our local convenience store (open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day).

Want to work out or run inside on a colder day? No problem. Blue Star Gym is located a short 0.6 miles away. This is just a 12 minute walk on the beautiful walking path across the street. Please contact them for day pass information.

We have a BEAUTIFUL fire pit with wood provided and ready for your enjoyment.

Your cottage is close to downtown Saugatuck. Enjoy a stroll on the beautiful walking path across the street. It's a one mile walk or couple minutes by car. Enjoy the great food, restaurants and shops of Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, and Holland.

Dune Buggy Rides are close too.

Saugatuck Dunes State park is ONLY 5 minutes away by car where you can go Hiking, Cross-Country Skiing, Enjoy beach trails, or any other of their 13 miles of incredible nature trails... Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall there is something for you to enjoy just a short walk or few minutes ride from Saugatuck Cottage Suites.
