Sleeping Logistics / Bedrooms:
* Master bedroom has a dreamy king bed with an awesome mattress. * 2nd bedroom has another comfortable king bed with backyard views. *  3rd semi-private (open) area has a daybed and trundle bed. Best for kids.  *  4th semi-private space is the loft, which has 2 twin beds. *  Plus, the living room has a pull-out queen sofa-bed.
As you can see, there are plenty of beds and space for everyone to sleep, relax, and enjoy the escape to paradise.

No waiting for bathrooms as we have Two full bathrooms (downstairs and upstairs).

* Nice bedding & towels. * Best community for fun activities! We offer a few "as is" bikes, kayaks, and many more amenities. 
Awesome location in Islamorada. We're only a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Plus, we have excellent 24-hour / 7 days per week onsite security.

* The number of guests staying or "visiting" must be agreed upon during the booking. Adding more guests than accepted will mean you are cancelling your reservation. You will be asked to leave.

* Unregistered guests or would be "day visitors" are NOT allowed into the community without the owner’s prior authorization.

* We have a spiral staircase. Both bedrooms and one office are on the 2nd floor via the spiral staircase.

* There is also a ladder/stairway to get to the loft, so ladder and loft are not for small children or toddlers. The loft has a lower ceiling.

* Renters are NOT to dock at the EBC Dock. Renters can do pick-up and drop-off. There are nearby places that provide slip rentals, such as next door at Founders Park. (I can provide a full list.)

* Pets are NOT allowed as we suffer from severe allergies.

* We do NOT accept parties in our home. Best to consider another property.

* We have a few extras (like old bikes and kayaks) in "as is" condition. Use these at your own risk. Be careful on the water and riding bikes. Please always apply and follow water and roadway safety rules.

* A free guest passes may be available for driving into Founders Park. Please give me a heads up to make a request for you.

Wonderful time in the Keys

We had a wonderful time on our recent get away to the keys. Jose and his family provided a beautiful condo as described. The condo was very clean and spacious. We had a great time fishing off the dock, swimming in the pool and hanging out at Founder's Park. Thanks for a great get-away.

Pride in ownership throughout

My family headed down to Islamorada to go scuba diving during our kids' spring break. I was SO HAPPY with this property! They had plenty of space for us to spread out and there wasn't a single thing we were lacking. Great kitchen supplies, a dvd player to enjoy a movie at the end of the night and peace and quiet throughout the evening. The kids and my husband did enjoy using the tennis rackets in the unit one afternoon, while I took a nap on a chair on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. It was also next to a really nice park where I went to run most mornings. Our hosts also left a binder full of information answering every question we could have had. We loved our visit and our home away from home! This is a perfect location for people looking for a quiet, peacefully place to rest your head.

Great place to relax.

My wife and I really enjoyed our two month stay at E.B.C. The complex is great with a nice large pool, tennis courts, and waterfront area, all very reasonably priced.This unit is located on the north side of E.B.C. midway between highway 1 and the gulf. The unit was just purchased by a new owner the end of last year, and he was very helpful addressing any possible issues. He also is in the process of renovating. The living and dining areas are done already with a nice flat screen TV (a cable package including HD channels would be nice). The owner plans to have WiFi Internet access soon.The bedrooms are in good shape. In biggest need of renovation are the kitchen cabinets, counter tops and stove, they are old and worn. The refrigerator is very new and big.The bathrooms are ok but could use some attention also. The spiral stairs to the second floor are steep and could be a problem for someone older and less mobile, especially when carrying heavy bulky luggage upstairs. We think it's a great place and will only get better. We are looking forward to another two month stay early next year.

Two weeks in paradise!

Despite this being a rental, we truly were made to feel like guests of the owners, Jose and Marcia, with every little need taken care of. The home is tastefully decorated, with a spectacular shower in the upstairs bathroom. The Executive Bay Club is a gated community, which gives a feeling of security. The other residents are friendly and helpful and it is only a short walk to the pool and beach, as well as Founders' Park, with their walking/jogging paths, beach, and pool. The location is ideal, just a short drive to the supermarket and great restaurants. We really felt like we could just stay at this location, but did venture out most days to explore the Keys. We went to Bahia Honda Beach twice, about an hour away. This is a state park, with wonderful beaches on both the bay and ocean side. There is an admission fee charged, but well worth it for facilities available. We also discovered a gem of a beach, Sombrero Beach in Marathon, just a little closer than Bahia Honda. This beach was not as large, but was nicely maintained, with rest rooms, picnic tables, and a playground, and it was free. A full day was needed for our excursion to Key West, but well worth the trip. Be sure to visit the Butterfly Gardens and Hemingway House. We did check the schedule of cruise ships entering the port and chose a day when only one was coming in. There were also some good attractions in the area for days when you are tired of the beach. Check out the wild bird sanctuary and the diving museum, each only a short drive away. There are some really good restaurants in the area, but we soon settled on two favorites, Harriet's and Bob's Bunz, for breakfasts. Each of these has its own special pastry, the first wonderful muffins and the latter tasty large cinnamon buns. For dinner, our hands down favorite was Marker 88. We ate there several times and were never disappointed. Of course, we also did a good deal of cooking at home, both on the grill and the full-sized smooth top range. The dining table could easily seat a crowd, but we preferred eating on the semi-secluded patio whenever possible. Like all of the townhouses in the area, this unit does have a spiral staircase. Though this looks intimidating at first, we soon adapted to going up and down quickly, so if you are physically able to climb stairs, this should not be an impediment. One word of advice: unpack and store your suitcase downstairs. All in all, this was a wonderful rental at a good price.

Winter in Islamorada

We usually stay in Key West in March. This year we decided to try Islamorada. It was fabulous! This condo was absolutely perfect! It had everything you could possibly need for your stay. It was so comfortable and well equipped and Jose and Marcia were exceptional hosts. The mattresses were superb and the selection of spices in the kitchen made it just like home. The community was great- friendly, welcoming residents, a lovely heated pool and a short walk to the beach. What a delightful place! I didn’t give the highest rating for check in because, even though Jose did all he could, the community was having some issues and getting into the gate took a little work. I’m sure this will be cleared up soon. I also didn’t give the highest rating on accuracy of online listing because the place was even better than the pictures show! The upstairs bathroom is much more luxurious than in the pictures. It should also be noted that there is a spiral staircase that is not shown in the pictures. It is very sturdy and easy to use. If we come back to Islamorada, I will definitely try to get the same place.

Great Getaway

Great home for our wedding excursion with mini vaca! Jose the owner was very accommodating. The using is setup for anything you could need and the owners think of everything! I will be renting from these owners again as they helped make our vacation enjoyable. This property is great for families- the pool is close and the beach area offers good snorkeling. Upgrades to the property make it feels like home (better than home in some ways- master shower was very refreshing). Highly recommend this property for your Keys trip

Wonderful family vacation spot

We really enjoyed our stay! The townhouse was very clean and comfortable. The newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms were a plus and we found everything we needed. The owners provided lots of extras that you don't normally find. Our kids loved the pool and fishing from the docks. We saw lobsters, stingrays and a variety of fish, and one night two dolphins, chasing fish swam right up to the dock and played for a while - very exciting! The townhouse is close to town with shops and restaurants - very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful week!

This property absolutely met our expectations and allowed us to relax and enjoy the area

We enjoyed our stay in Jose and Marcia's condo very much. EVERYTHING is provided. They really have thought of odds and ends that a guest might want in the kitchen. The shower upstairs is terrific and my husband commented on the comfort of the large king size bed in the master bedroom. This is a man who ALWAYS complains about beds, but he loved this one and slept very well. Everything was well maintained and easy to find. My twin 15 year old daughters loved their room and spend a lot of time there. There is a binder that details things about the condo, the condo community, and the larger community, including activities and dining options. We enjoyed the Grullon's suggestions, although we spend most of our time doing activities with friends who live in Tavernier. Even when we weren't out and about doing scheduled activities, we walked down to the dock and enjoyed watching the birds and boats. The neighbors in the community were very friendly, and we enjoyed watching the young kids play in the community pool I think we enjoyed Islamorada MORE because we stayed in a place that was so easy and comfortable. We had discussed driving down to Key West, but discovered we had more than enough to keep us busy locally.

Very acomodating property. Beautiful out on beach

The condo was great. The owner Jose and his wife were very accomodating to us making sure we had everything we needed. The condo was fully stocked with essentials for a fun week including snorkeling gear of numerous sizes, boogie boards for kids and beach toys for kids. It was a good size and slept 6 (4 adults and 2 toddlers) very comfortable. It was updated nicely, kitchen and bathrooms were beautiful. The beach area outback was beautiful, just a minute walk from condo. Great snorkeling and fishing down there off the docks. We also rented a kayak for a couple of days which the kids loved. Beautiful sunset on that beach also. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Conveniently equipped

We took a family trip to Isla Morada with my wife and three kids The condo was really equipped with all you need and more. We really enjoyed the amenities. We also enjoyed the marina every day early morning and at sun down fishing. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I would like to return again.

I had a great time with my son and buddy in this islamorada condo. Sleeps up to 7 but 5 are comfortable. I would stay here again. Spiral staircase was no problem as others suggest. owners are quite helpful!

Fantastic 1st Homeaway experience, fantastic property!

Seriously, wow. This was a girls trip, and our first experience using homeaway, as well as first trip to the Keys. To start with the transaction - Jose is a pleasure to work with, with timely, personal responses. The home is his and his wife's, and the pride they take in their belongings and surroundings is evident. The home itself is located in a condo community on Islamorada. The house is jam packed with BEYOND anything a guest may need, want, or like to do. The kitchen is fully loaded (pots, pans, utensils, gadgets, etc and beyond), the pantry has some starters and plenty of household goods. The entire house is filled with linens, towels, beach gear, games, and all kinds of other incredibly thoughtful additions. The home is clean, well maintained, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. The 2nd full bath is on the first floor, and both are extremely well equipped (rain showers!) Would absolutely recommend this rental. The property has a private beach (water access is a little rocky but there is a dock with ladder, plus a pair of water shoes are in the house) and also a beautiful pool. I would recommend anyone unfamiliar with the Keys do research on their unique beaches prior to visiting, but this rental, area, etc was a gem!

Nice home, great location in Keys.

House was clean and well appointed to cook, sleep and relax. Lots of supplies to snorkel, swim, play and enjoy the keys. Tons of towels, which we needed. Plenty of sleep space. 2 showers were convenient after a day at the beach. Felt safe and away from any noisy groups. Very family friendly. Appliances all in great working condition. Owner is very good at communicating and taking care of needs. Caution, the small winding staircase that leads to all the bedrooms may be a challenge for elderly or very large people. No bedrooms on the 1st floor.

Nice condo, but...

Owner was easy to work with and very helpful. The condo is located in a lovely gated community and the neighbors are all nice. The decor of the condo is tasteful and the kitchen living area are very comfortable. One big drawback not mentioned is the acces to upstairs bedrooms is only via a narrow spiral stairs. This is a real pain when trying to negotiate suitcases. The bedrooms share a bathroom, so not recommended for two couples but would be ok for a family. For some odd reason the larger of the two bedrooms has twin beds and the king bed is crammed into the smaller room leaving a very awkward access. Also the showers in both bathrooms are beautiful but have defective plumbing hardware. Aside from these inconveniences, this is a very nice rental.

So relaxing and well beyond accommodating

I'm not one to post reviews. But when something is done right, you just have to say something. My wife is a high school principal and I'm a graphic designer in New England. We came down to Isla Morada for a break and found all that and then some. The owners of this property have gone to great lengths to make renters feel at home. There are personal touches throughout the unit. They keep extra sun hats, fishing poles, bikes, snorkeling equipment, a private bbq grill, a large portable cooler, strange books and stranger movies. We were never bored. We decided what to do each day based on what we found in the unit. As suggested, we stopped at the Win Dixie (a supermaket 10 mins en-route) on the way in and stocked up on the essentials. Great amenities on premises and there's a great little park next door called Founder's Park with a 2 mile walk/run path that circles the playing field and goes along the marina's edge. Plenty of space in the living/dining room area to spread out and play board games or watch TV if you have additional guests. Bedrooms are upstairs so kids can stay up all night downstairs without a care. The second bedroom is compartmentalized very nicely with 2 beds on one end, a work space with desk / computer / printer and essentials on the other end (with a nice divider to keep one from bothering the other). There are 2 extra beds in that room that are upstairs (on a 3rd level), perfect for the pair of teens that need "their own space." Master bedroom is exactly what a master bedroom should be. At night, I lost my wife a few times in the king size bed -had to swim over to find her on the other end. Small walk-in closet is a nice touch. Main shower was... well, just take a look at the picture. Water coming from every angle you can imagine. The place is very clean, very well maintained. The pantry had additional items that one normally forgets to grab (condiments, detergent, etc.). The owner even left a couple of locally brewed beers in the fridge to sample. I think we found our second home. My wife concurs. My wife NEVER concurs.

Islamorada gem

Terrific townhouse absolutely well equipped and even better than described on VRBO listing. Clean, well maintained, quiet and comfortable. Owners did everything humanly possible to provide appropriate information, recommendations for restaurants, etc. and made themselves available 24/7. Only downside- please be aware there is a very narrow circular stairway to bedrooms on 2nd floor. Renters need to know that and be willing and able to manage the stairway.

Truly Amazing 5-Star Vacation Place

This place was recommended to us by friends. Yes, they were right. We had a terrific vacation experience. First, it is obvious that the owners take excellent care of their vacation home with all extra attention to detail, so many amenities, and higher quality everyday items (such as high-end spa shower, upscale kitchen, soft clean bedding, many beach towels, snorkeling gear, USB charging stations, and much more). Secondly, it is a place made for quiet, peaceful relaxation. We truly slept well. We needed that. Third, the community is well maintained and has everything (a sandy beach with great sunsets, nice heated pool, fishing dock, and more). The condo is in a very location - close to pool and beach. Finally, the community is surrounded by many good restaurants and plenty of Keys attractions. We will definitely pass this recommendation on to our friends.

My personal GoToKeys & Las Terrenas journey...
I grew up in New England and later lived in Michigan. So I appreciate our unique year round warm tropical climate.

Our GoToKeys adventure has always been about building family memories by sharing special fun times. So that's exactly what we've done. My beautiful wife and I have been married for over 30 years. We have two awesome daughters.

My wife is the one who showed me the importance of taking family vacations and creating our own special getaways. So we have vacationed in numerous US cities, throughout almost all of the Caribbean islands, parts of Canada, honeymooned in Mexico, and traveled to many cities in Central America. Plus we have made many trips to enjoy Europe (Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Malta and England) and South America (Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and more). Yes, we have created great vacation memories for ourselves and our families.

We discovered the Florida Keys. We fell in love with this series of incredibly beautiful chain of islands. So, now we truly hope that you will select and enjoy one of our GoToKeys vacation homes in Key Largo and Islamorada.

In 2023, we bought and renovated our spectacular penthouse in Las Terrenas. We have given this home plenty of love and attention. Moreover, we have built a team to help our old and new friends to discover why we love Las Terrenas and the Samana Peninsula.

We extend our home to both old and new friends with a real sense of pride and humility. This is in the true classic Spanish sense of “mi casa es su casa”.

We chose this property since we enjoyed snorkeling and diving, fishing, site seeing, photography, and the area’s good food and ongoing events.

We had been coming down to Islamorada & Key Largo for many years. We both dreamed of owning a second home right here in the Keys. Finally, a good friend told us about this community. We came down to visit him at his place and we simply fell in love. We saw first hand the beautiful family oriented pool and clubhouse. From the community's private boat dock, we traveled out on his boat and took in all the wonderful relaxing water adventures and returned just in time for the spectacular gulf sunset. I think that we were completely sold with that final sunset!

Having done so much traveling, we know that our community is a special place. It is so easy to just relax reading or listening to music by the pool. While there are plenty of opportunities to add excitement of the local destinations. These are as close as the dock, or Founders Park next door, or a bike ride away.

By the way, our vacation home is only a nice 1.5 hour scenic drive north to Miami and famous South Beach restaurants and activities. Plus you also head further south on a day trip Seven Mile Bridge, Bahia Honda, or Key West. To get to that special furthest southern point in US, you drive about 1 hour and 45 minutes surrounded on both sides by beautiful water scenery.

You will enjoy the numerous amenities offered by this Islamorada community, such as the bay front heated pool, which is conveniently right next to air-conditioned clubhouse and lounge, outdoor patios and community BBQ cooking areas with tiki huts, and plus two immaculate lighted tennis courts (rackets provided).
Next take a two-minute stroll over to the private sandy beach area and take a dip in the ocean water, or sit in one of the various beach chairs and just take some sun. Don’t forget to come back here and wait for the beautiful sunsets. You will treasure memories and the photos of your spectacular waterfront sunsets.
The days are as active as you want in this Islamorada community. You will see folks walking, riding bikes, or skating around the complex. You can fish alone on the pier / boat dock or just sit and read as the gulf waters surround you. You can walk over next door to Founders Park Sports Complex, which has walking and cycling trails, soccer fields, baseball fields, skate park with incredible boarding ramps, white sandy beach, Olympic size pool, special events and much more... Founders Park has marina with boat slips and ramp.
Leave all concerns behind since our place is in a private gated community, with 24 hour security. Your biggest concern is what to do each day, what music to listen to, and where to have lunch and dinner.
