Large 3200 square ft. waterfront vacation home on majestic Lake Huron. Enjoy swimming, sunning and playing on the ample pristine sugar sand beach by day. Take a long walk along the beach and enjoy watching the kids run in and out of the shallow shoreline. Clean and up to date, the home is cozy and comfortable with plenty of living space for all to enjoy. On a clear night, the star gazing is awesome, while sitting around the campfire. Beautiful!

We loved staying in this house. The view was amazing and we had everything we needed. The beds were quite comfortable compared to other VRBO places we've stayed. We are already looking to book this place again!

Great Beach Getaway for All Ages

Propery was as advertized, with plenty of parking. Rooms were huge, with lots of space for kids, teens, adults and 87 year old greatgrandparents. Beach was great, only issue was the water was still pretty cold in late June. So next time we will book later in the summer!

THIS HOME DOES NOT HAVE A/C. This is a very nice home, with lots of sleeping space for guests. It is well-stocked with kitchen supplies, and enough plates/cups/silverware for large parties. The interior is older, but in good working condition. The beach is beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming and available for any concerns.We stayed in August during a pretty good heat wave. The upstairs was so hot, difficult to sleep in. The home had a room fan for each bedroom and living room, which was very thoughtful! We just weren’t mentally prepared for the lack of AC, and didn’t notice the comments in prior reviews. Not the owner’s fault.This home would be splendid for big groups when hot weather is not in play.

Best Vacation Ever!

This house is awesome! It had everything we could possibly want or need. The house was large enough for 3 different families to comfortably live but still have room for some alone time, too. The view was to die for! A 180 degrees Lake Huron view from most rooms! The beach gets the prize, tho...sand was fluffy, white and plentiful! The best part was being able to walk out the slider, cross a bit of grass (where there was shade for us old folks) then mounds of gorgeous beach! This has been the best vacation we have had mainly due to this property!

Family Vacation Oscoda

Great vacation home with lots and lots of usable space for all 8 of us. We had fun on the beach, swam in the water, played endless card games on the dining room table, and created delicious meals. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and more. The extra refrigerator in the laundry room was a big plus. We all slept well and were very comfortable on beautiful mattresses and cozy bedding. The neighbors were very nice and after a short introduction, they let us be to enjoy ourselves. Thank you Cathy for sharing your vacation home! God Bless!

Unforgettable Week

This was our second week long stay at the LeBlanc Home and it was exactly what we all needed. We stayed last year as well, but the weather this time was unforgettable. With 3 grand parents, 4 parents, and 5 kids aged 6 and under, we were able to have serious beach and lake time all but one day. We love Tawas, Marions Ice Cream, Mr. G's pizzeria, flying kites, playing games in the evenings with all the windows open, and can't say enough about the views. The neighbors are very kind as well. We hope to book another week next Summer as well, eveyone is already looking forward to it.

Wonderful time with the family

Our family vacations every summer; there are 13 of us and finding a place with enough space, rooms and beds can be tricky. LeBlanc fit the bill perfectly. A large cabin, plenty of sleeping room and space for all of us to be together or grab some alone time if we wanted. We were 9 adults and 4 boys ages (almost) 6, 9, 11 and 13. Large sandy beach and sandy lake bottom that deepens slowly... you can wade out a ways; NO ROCKS... loved that. Did have some fairly brisk on-shore winds most of the time, but plenty of sun and fun too. Nice deck and grassy area before the beach. All in all a great vacation home/cabin, would recommend to those especially looking for a great beach on the big water. Only (and slight) drawback was the staircase up to the 2nd level bedrooms. It is a tight corner staircase that is most certainly not accessible. However, there are 2 full size beds in the main floor guest rooms (the one with the crib and the one without)... the stairs did not detract for us; just worth mentioning. Would certainly come back and recommend to others.

Fun family place

Lots of space for kids and adults to spread out. Large table to have group dinners and game playing plus another table for puzzles and coloring. The two refrigerators were handy.

Fabulous family get together

Fabulous family summer getaway together and gathering at this Great Lakes home. Everything we loved and we felt at home in our surroundings. Memories made here. Spacious and you could feel the love in every room.

Great beach house for multiple families!

This is the second year our family of 3 generations stayed here. It has lots of room and beds for everyone! The yard and beach were perfect for our grandkids ranging from 1 1/2 to 7 years old. The kitchen has everything you would need. The only negative is no AC and the upstairs can get quite hot. The view is absolutely beautiful. We hope to be back.

Great summer place!

Just spent a week on Lake Huron. This is as close to perfect as you can get. We had 8 of us there ranging from Nana and Papa down to our three year old granddaughter. The layout is super, plenty of room. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Very quiet spot with super nice neighbors. We had one day of clouds and scattered rain but spent most of it in Tawas. Both Oscoda and Tawas are close, nice typical Michigan small towns. Tawas is a bit more trendy. After ice cream for the kids (and adults) got back to an amazing double rainbow over Lake Huron. Hoping to go back next summer!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We have rented homes in the Au Gres, East Tawas area for a few years, but this location was by far our favorite to date. We had 5 children age 5 and under, 7 adults, three of them being grandparents, and the house and property were enjoyable for everyone. The beach was sandy, clean, and vast, which was great for all of us on the perfect beach days, and on the windy, kite flying days. There is a big bath tub on the main floor which was great for giving the kids baths, and the kitchen was perfect for big dinners and lots of traffic. Only downfall was the lack of central air and the upstairs got really hot during the day. Evenings were just fine, once the wind started rolling off the lake in through the windows. We also did some day trips to Lumbermans Monument and Tawas for ice cream and shopping. Hoping for another opportunity to stay at LeBlanc Beach next year!!

Perfect!

We thought the pictures looked like just the thing we were looking for when planning our trip - and the pictures didn't even do the real thing justice! This place is amazing!!! The home has tons of room and yet a very cozy vibe. The nice, sandy beach allows for breath taking morning and evening views and great swimming! Kitchen had everything we needed. This large family-friendly lake home has everything -- Lake Huron with a sandy bottom (no rocks or weeds), sandy beach, a kitchen with a lake view where cooking is a pleasure, a big open dining room, and two family areas with large window walls catching the lake breezes. Plenty of space for a family of 12 (Grandmother, parents, teenagers, and 20-somethings) to enjoy swimming, sunbathing, volleyball, quiet reading areas, singing around the campfire, games, fishing on Lake Huron and the many small lakes nearby, shopping, kayaking, biking, four-wheeling on nearby trails, and watching spectacular sunrises. We are hoping to return next year.

Perfect place to spend time

One of the nicest beaches on Lake Huron. Quiet and peaceful area, cottage has plenty of room for large families, I would recommend Leblanc beech to anyone looking for a large place on the water.

Perfect for Large Family

With 4 grandchildren and a variety of adults we were looking for a spacious rental with a good beach. We sure found that and more than we expected this summer at the LeBlanc vacation home. Especially nice was the ability for the grandchildren to wade in Lake Huron without handholding as the sandbars provided ease of mind and just the right amount of wave action. And it was total sand... not a rock to be found on the lake bottom. Inside the cabin had five sleeeping areas that worked great for a variety of reasons. We cooked most meals on the gas grill and had a fire on the beach each night. I personally liked that it sets at the quiet end of a wondering road far removed from the traffic noise on US23. Having come sight unseen from New England (which does cause some anxiousness) we couldn't have been more relieved when we arrived at this very nice cottage.

Wonderful house and beach

Our family spent a week in this beach home. It is clean and very roomy. The kitchen is well stocked. You have to bring your own bath towels but that is a minor inconvenience. The beds are very comfortable. A sandy beach and a sandy, shallow swimming area are important to us and this has both. You can walk for miles down the beach. The only negative for us was the lack of a boat dock. My husband had to drive to Oscoda (about 5 miles) to put his boat in. The owners photos and description are very accurate. It's a wonderful beach home and we definitely recommend it.

Great beach house, lots of space

This house worked out great for our family vacation. The house had everything we needed and the beach was amazing! There was tons of space for sleeping and relaxing. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.
