This 2 bedroom, 2 bath Colonnade Club villa is set on hole #6 of Shipyard Golf course, and located close to beach and tennis courts! The ground floor unit allows easy in and out with luggage, groceries, and small children. The spacious master bedroom has a comfy king bed, full window with a superb golf course view, 50" HDTV, large walk-in closet, and a private entry to the back deck. Master bath has double sink and shower/tub combo with grab bar. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds, 50" HDTV, and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. Both baths have wall mounted hair dryers. The remodeled kitchen is fully equipped for eating in - the dining room seats 6, and there is extra seating at the bar. The laundry room off the kitchen has a full-sized, HE washer and dryer. The living area boasts a 50" HDTV and DVD player. With wireless internet and free U.S. long distance, you have all the amenities of home! Sleeper sofa, loveseat, and occasional chair create comfortable seating for bird watching, TV watching via YouTubeTV, or just enjoying the low country's lush outdoor scenery. Deck has dining table with seating for 4, plus 2 high seat Adirondack chairs. Front porch also has 2 Adirondack chairs. Beach towels are provided on the honor system. Convenient, shady beach path gets you on the sand in 3-5 minutes by bike; 8-10 minutes on foot.
The Shipyard Beach Center provides boardwalk access to the beach, outdoor showers, and bathrooms for day-long fun and convenience. Locker underneath the Beach Center holds beach chairs and toys so guests won't need to pack those! The beautiful beaches are unspoiled by high rise buildings.
Shipyard is the most serene of Hilton Head Island's gated communities. The canopy provided by the giant oaks and pines make you feel at one with nature. This area is quiet and relaxing, with miles of bicycle/walking paths. From the large back deck, you can spend an entire afternoon watching wildlife busying themselves in their lagoon habitat, or watch golfers tee off on hole #6 of the Shipyard Golf Course.

April Vacation

Another fantastic week at this property

This is our second time renting this unit and it’s perfect. Bike to beach, pickleball, tennis and the pool and hot tub are just outside the unit door. Quieter than Sea Pines with a great view of the golf course. Will stay here again! Great communication with owner too

Great stay and location at Hilton Head

All the comforts of home, this condo served us well. The property was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed daily walks to the beach, the deck overlooking the golf course, the resident alligator as well as blue herons and egrets. The island offers many good choices of restaurants, shopping and beaches. Visiting Savannah is a must see.

Beautiful Condo & Great Location

It was so nice to either walk to the Beach or Drive there. We mostly drove there, then would come back each day around 4:00, take a Dip in pool and then we would also sit in the Hot Tub. Condo was very clean and wide open, plenty of room for 4 adults and a 3yr old. Would definitely stay here again....

1st trip to HHI

1st thing i would suggest is getting there early. Traffic is crazy. The condo was clean , cozy and liked the view of the #6 tee box. Owner was very nice and helpful . If we go back to HHI i would stay here again.

Beautiful!

We had a wonderful trip staying in this beautiful suite. It had everything we could possibly need and more. It is so well equipped with linens, kitchenware and even supplies such as food wrap, water, various spices and even a full container of coffee cream when we arrived! The king size bed was super comfortable for a beautiful sleep! Communication with the owner was easy and a pleasure always. We highly recommend this for anyone who is booking in Hilton Head. We will definitely come back for our next trip to Hilton Head.

Fantastic Spot

We rented this property for the entire month of February to escape the cold during Covid. The location could not be more perfect. My family (myself wife and two children) all worked remotely and went to school remotely. The Internet in the condo was spectacular and we had an amazing experience. We all agreed that the condo felt much bigger than the pictures online. The property owner is excellent to work with and very fast at returning communication. We can’t wait until we book our next trip to this condo!

Beach lovers

Had a great time meeting up with family and grandkids for a few days. The location of the condo was great with easy access to the beach either by walking, cycling or driving. The beach locker was very handy and well stocked. Was very surprised to find a beach wagon on the porch to use. The pool was very clean and very accessible with plenty of seating and privacy. The condo was very roomy and looked very neat and clean upon arrival. However, after we were settled in we found some things that needed improved on the cleaning ... the shower curtain was pink with mildew, hair was found in the shower and bathroom floor, a lot of dust buildup in the bedroom along the baseboard and behind the nightstand, the coffee maker was not clean, placemats and table trim still had tomato like food on them. The kitchen was very well stocked. The back deck was very nicely furnished but the sliding door was very hard to open and close and the screen door was inoperable (difficulty with the track). None of these things interfered with our stay. Jan was very nice to rent from and was always prompt in response to any of our questions or concerns.

Great property and week

The process of renting this condo was effortless. Rented a couple months early and then was able to make other arrangements Jan the owner communicated great with any questions we had. The property was very clean stocked well and no problems with anything not working. Great location with beach access and being golfers bring on the course was great. Will come again

Nice place. 157 Colonnade.

This is a really nice place to stay. Communication with the owner was easy and good. The villa is CLEAN. We enjoyed watching the golfers from the deck and the tv at night. Everything works! Thank you for sharing your place with my wife and I. It was November, and the weather was beautiful. By the way, we are retired and had a ball in the area.

I started coming to Hilton Head Island in the early 1980s, and fell in love with it! I spent a week at the Van der Meer Tennis Center in Shipyard, and have enjoyed many of the area's outstanding golf courses. After playing the narrow fairways of Harbor Town Golf Links, you will have a much greater appreciation of the talented PGA golfers whose tour stops on Hilton Head Island in April! As I have aged, I've come to appreciate the vast beauty of the island, and I've loved exploring it!
I love being a host because a vacation on Hilton Head Island provides my guests with such a positive experience. I have come to know so many people, as many are repeat vacationers. The vast majority of my guests are quality people who take great care of my condo while enjoying all the island has to offer!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Colonnade Club is the last condo complex at the end of the road, so there is less car traffic - makes child strolling, dog walking, and bike riding more peaceful and safer. The upgraded stucco gives this complex a newer look than the older board/batten condo exteriors. The pool area is a favorite of renters and owners - both pool and deck are large. The hot tub and grilling area are amenities not provided by many other condo regimes.

Shipyard is a gated, secure community so I actually feel safe walking at night! There is little retail within Shipyard, aside from The Sonesta Hotel, so it is less crowded during those busy summer months. Yet, Coligny Plaza is conveniently adjacent for shopping and dining; Kroger, Publix, and Harris Teeter are close by as well. It's the best of both worlds! Jump on the air-conditioned Breeze Trolley directly across from Shipyard at Wessex Square and beat the summer traffic - download Catch The Breeze app. Starts 4/1 each spring.

A friend of mine once stated that all the stress falls off of her shoulders as she is crossing over the intercoastal waterway onto Hilton Head Island. I feel exactly the same way!

This rental property is the only one I own, and I stay in it myself periodically. I am not a property management company that juggles multiple units. Enjoying this condo myself allows me the perspective of seeing what needs improving. I have taken suggestions from renters and friends through the years to make it the best home away from home that I possibly can.
