Did our absolute best with this one, and feel like we were graded on a curve, so we will happily take 4 stars! Glad to hear the beds were comfortable and that the first experience with Fair Harbor was good. We’re proud our summer house was noted as one of cleanest on Fire Island by one renter, unfortunately we wish we had more control over the outdoors with occasional birds with crabs on the upper deck. Our kids consider it a fun wildlife feature as there are many on Fire Island :) Knowing the multiple luxury requests and concierge wagon service requested by this renter before check-in, we amplified our big post-season delivery of high end soaps, shampoos, conditioner, hypoallergenic laundry detergent and dryer sheets, dish soap & detergent, paper products etc etc & had all set up & ready for arrival. Apologies we didn’t know the olive oil and salt didn’t make it thru the summer, will definitely add to the post-season order next time. A couple people mentioned popping the screen door back in this season so… New screen door coming 2026! And bikes: 3 adult, 2 kids currently and happy to bring more next year when we drive up. Great to hear beach supplies did not disappoint— We do work hard to make our summer home great for all.
