I am especially grateful that you wrote this review, because this is the first I have heard of top shelf liquor costing extra. Every quarter my wife sends out a questionnaire to the general manager of the resort regarding the all-inclusive. It covers everything from what time each restaurant is open, the pool, spa, everything along with the cost. My wife does this because when the resort changes anything they never let us know. So this is her way to stay on top of things. I will be sure to ask my wife to add this new development to the questions list she send out. I apologize that happened. After this message i will be sending out your review to my wife so she can take care of it promptly. I don't think she will be too pleased considering how much effort she gives to always be on top of things and to be left in the dark on this. In spite of that, I'm so glad to hear you guys had a wonderful time and that you liked the condo so much and the area our resort is situated in. Best regards! Tim

When I saw this review I was shocked and wanted to immediately respond. First and foremost, since at the time of this writing this the only review for this unit, I encourage people to look up penthouse #2704 on trip advisor to view other reviews because this review is not truthful, but please don't rely on my response, look at what others have been saying about #2704. First this person says the unit is "much smaller" than claimed. The unit is exactly as claimed in size and exactly as the pictures show. He says the view is of a highway. There are no highways in the Cancun hotel zone. The view is of the bay. He talked about sheets? My wife goes to great lengths to keep all our units updated. As she does every year, she brought down brand new sheets from the sates in February of this year to replace our inventory. So this person is talking about our brand new sheets! And Abdiel, my manager prides himself on great smelling sheets. FYI all our sheets are also 300 thread count. The TV and shower not working is a ridiculous claim. The TV in that room is internet only and works just fine, it is the only one of 5 TV that is not on the satellite because satellite can handle only 4 TVs. You can stream Utube and any number of other streaming stations as it is smart TV as all our tvs are. And our shower works fine in that room and all our rooms. And to say our property is run down, seriously? The resort photos I show that you see pictures here were last updated as of this writing in March of this year, just one month before this guest arrived. And you can see the resort looks beautiful as it was just remodeled. Wow, some people are just haters and want to hurt people. Tim Miller

Thank you for reaching out to give us your feedback Stephan. It was a pleasure to be of service to you and your family. I apologize that you were not happy with the check in. In the group thread, when we asked for your flight info back on Dec 29, you had said that you would be already be there in Playa del Carmen on Jan 3, and that you would be leaving there at 12noon. You had also asked what time was check in, to which Megan replied 7 minutes later, to say that it was 4pm, but that we could still take your luggage when you arrived and welcome you. That was our last correspondence, on Dec 29, until your arrival day of January 3, when we received your email at 10:23am that said you had arrived at the resort front gate. I'm not sure why the message of your arrival was not in Spanish as it is here. We do not speak French, so it did take us a few extra minutes to translate the message and respond in French to say we would be there as quickly as we could to greet you. But we were not expecting you until 12:30ish, to greet you and take your luggage, based on your last correspondence. We are sorry that we fell short of a 5 star performance. Nonetheless, we appreciate you staying with us, and we are sorry that you were upset the day of check in. We are always trying to improve, and prompt communication is priority 1 for us, as we feel this is the single most important part of the vacation rental business. Best regards, Tim Miller
