Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am a person who likes to try new places just because I like variety, but this is a place I will continue coming back to. It's perfect for two people as it is set up like a well-appointed hotel room, only much more private, costs a fraction of the price (especially once you figure in incidentals like parking, etc.) and the location, right next to the river, can't be beat! A great feature that you won't find in a hotel room is that it has its own washer and dryer, plus full kitchen. On some of the reviews, it mentions that there is no closet, which was a problem the last time we stayed here, but they have remedied this by adding a clothing rack in the laundry room. Problem solved! Also, be aware that you have to park half a block away (not very far at all!) and there are stairs to the entrance, so if you are not ambulatory, it might present a problem. I have stayed in other rentals in Savannah (our daughter lives here, so we come here a LOT), and they aren't nearly as fresh and clean as this one (our granddaughter called the last one we rented "crusty".) This rental is truly a great find!

Huge cargo ships/barges on the river behind the property! Beautiful new studio apartment. We parked on the next street over. Not too far or inconvenient. Walkable to downtown. Would definitely return! Construction still in progress but very nice safe area!

It was very nice, clean, the bed was very comfortable. I didn’t like that you had no potholders, cookie sheets, dish towel , just one, no aluminum foil or Saran Wrap or anything to put leftovers in. The parking was not too bad, but it would have been nice if we could have parked at the carriage house. It is a very pretty property though!

The workers were friendly and had it fixed in 20 minutes. The location was great and the river walk wonderful.

Very nice location. Could use a few mire amenities like sugar, spices, coffee and filters, launfry detergent etc. but perhaps because so new and unused.

We were missing TP and Kleenex, no response from owners until after our first night there. The door is loose, deadbolt required to get it to stay closed. Some noise from construction during the weekdays windows are not sound proof. Bed is comfortable!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a perfect location, being only steps from River Street, only with none of the noise or hustle and bustle. We have family in Savannah, and have been traveling here for years, and I can honestly say from firsthand knowledge, this is hands down the best value in all of Savannah. It is actually nicer than is pictured in their listing...perfect for a couple who doesn't mind snuggling in a Queen bed. It has everything you need for your stay, including a washer and dryer, which is a wonderful amenity! We stayed for 5 nights for less than we could have stayed in a nice hotel for 2 nights...plus, at the hotel, no full sized kitchen, or laundry. I have told everyone I know about this place, and we will definitely be back.

The place is nice but for the total cost, I'd prefer a place with more amenities and either a grocery store closer or place to grab creamer for coffee, snacks, etc. It is less than a block from the river so that was great so close to restaurants and shopping along the river. While uber is easy, I recommend renting a car if you want to go farther (Tybee Island), in the end we could've rented a car for probably less than what we paid in uber. There is no place to hang clothes other than the laundry room coat rack. The drawer by the dishwasher can't be opened unless the dishwasher is open and the dishwasher can't open all the way because of the stove- poor or cheap design. We had some trouble getting the front door to close all the way so we could secure the lock. Personally, I've stayed in better rentals with more amenities for the money so next time, I'll look more carefully at that.

Ok stay but wouldn't rent again

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is less than a block from the river and is clean. There is no place to hang clothes other than the laundry room on a coat rack. We had a little trouble with getting the front door to shut so we could secure the lock. There is no close grocery store, not in walking distance and we didn't rent a car, so recommend if you need cream or anything for your coffee in the morning, get it ahead of time and get more coffee. It was ok, but I think I'd prefer a hotel or a place with more amenities. Just a personal preference. In the end the cost was approximate to a hotel stay with property fee, service fee and taxes and at the end you have to take out the garbage, run the dishwasher, etc. Also, the design is strange, you can't open the kitchen drawer closest to the dishwasher unless the dishwasher door is open and you can't open the dishwasher all the way because of the stove. Poor design for what is supposed to be 'high end.' I would recommend to anyone who doesn't care about what I noted above.
