Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.
Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

The place itself was great—clean and exactly as pictured. However, the check-in process was a bit difficult, and having more detailed information prior to arrival would have made things much smoother. Overall, a good stay, but the communication around check-in could be improved.

This is our 2nd time this year staying at this location. Unfortunately this time wasnt as expected. The Condo itself is Wonderful location is Great. However there were issues with the WiFi service . To some it maynot be important but to us it was.Staff was not responsive slow to act in our behalf.

This place did not disappoint! It was exactly the relaxing, peaceful environment we were hoping for. The 3 bedroom we stayed in was lovely and the setting was magical! We will definitely be back!

This year you could still see damage from last years hurricanes but they are working hard getting everything back to normal.

Palm Island 17 years in a row

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental unit was very nice. Have already reserved for next year. Did not appreciate being the hastled by some security officer for riding our golf cart after 9pm. He was driving recklessly and scaring people by driving in front of them and telling them to stop and interegating them. This was totally not necessary. My wife and I are in our 60's and don't need that. Property was very well kept up and cleaner than in the past few years. Not happy that we stayed in a 3 bedroom place and I was charged on the ferry for a 3rd vehicle. Our place slept 8 comfortably w 4 beds and 3 baths, this needs to be reevaluated.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family comes to Palm Island every year and we enjoyed our stay. The villa is beautiful with amazing views. However, I cannot give 5 stars for the property management because I was charged twice for my stay and no one returned my phone calls. I was very disappointed and I had to contact my bank about the issue. Ultimately, I was my account was credited a week later after calling again, but now I am still waiting for my bank to sort out the transaction.

1st Trip of 2017 4-27 till 5-1

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was as good as I had hoped. Friday was great...We had the beach up by Lands End 36 and the pool to ourselves. By Saturday and Sunday the young families arrived and the parents allowed their children to go crazy. So much for your pool rules. Here's a suggestion, if you have no intention of enforcing Palm Island rules which I assume are in place to give all the guests an opportunity to enjoy their stay, remove the signs and save money by releasing the so called Security Patrol people who. Actually do nothing more than ride across the island wearing down the batteries in their carts.

Our Best Stay Ever

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only unpleasant issue in an otherwise perfect stay concerns my son's later arrival. Peggy and I arrived Wednesday and our two sons and granddaughter were due to arrive Friday late day. We asked what was the procedure with the Ferry since the cottage we were staying in allowed for two cars on the Island. We were told to just let the front desk know when we arrived and their name would be added to the list of guest arrivals for Friday. When we checked in, Peggy told Faith who then wrote the name down on a piece of paper to add to the Friday guest list. Faith did not follow thru and as a result the name was not on the guest list for the Ferry men. The situation became tense when the Ferry man was not going to let my son pull his car off the Ferry until he resolved this somehow or paid like $65 or so. Faith needs to follow thru with important situations like we had.

Weathering Out A Storm

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A Tropical Depression/Hurricane could not ruin our final stay of the year 9-1-16 to 9-6-16. All of the Palm Island staff were fantastic and upbeat about the situation during the first 48 hours of our stay. Even offering credit for the stay towards a later trip had we decided to leave due to the weather. We stayed and were rewarded with the final 3 days of the best weather of the year. During the entire stay even through the wind and rain of the first 48 hours, all of the people who work to make Palm Island a 5 star vacation resort were right there doing it all as if it was just another day in paradise.

Everyone has their own space, great for family meal time and games. Only thing I would change is the common complaint was the beds were hard.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed in a Lands End unit; it was clean, well decorated, and EVERYONE from the check-in crew to bell crew to Coconuts staff to Rum Bay waiters to ferry boat officials was friendly, positive, safe, and attentive to us as guests. We have come to Palm Island Resort for about 30 straight years and have found no place better in the whole state of Florida. Kudos!
