Would prefer that Hawaii Life had disclosed that when they found out. Probably would not have changed anything since we had made full payment by then. Replacement AC units were supplied but were noisy so we did not use them. Love the old school vibe of location/property..plenty of grass and pool space without the crowds of the mega resorts.

Excellent location and property

Well equipped kitchen and BBQ area, proximity to the Kaanapali beach walk and lovely pool area are our highlights! The lanai was perfect for watching the sunset and we saw whales off the coast at every meal. The unit was spacious for two people, and we enjoyed our early mornings and early bedtimes very much since it was so quiet!

Reviewer Comments: We ended up staying at this resort because the original one I booked had a maintenence issue that couldn't be resolved in the time we were visiting,and the company we used had us stay here.Pros:the 2nd floor room was gorgeous,clean,and the view from the balcony was peaceful and pretty...cons:we were TOLD we would be staying here,by text only,without any knowledge of this resort....the balcony isn't private at all.Its on a main walkway where everyone walking by can see you out on the balcony(not what i was wanting to relax)...the resort itself seemed old.And the villas we stayed at had only a pool and no other amenities(the one I paid for had alot of pools and slides)....lastly,customer service was very poor.Only found out about the maintenance issue when we landed by text.After a couple days of emails/texts/phone calls(3 days to be exact),we finally spoke to the company's representative(he was out of town and was unaware of the whole situation)which was positive,he was very nice....I write this review,as I said to the manager,to please just be better about communication and customer support.Other than that,we made the best of our stay and had a great time.

Maui Family Vacation

Our stay at this condo was perfect for our family of four! It was clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed (it looks just like the pictures online). The location on the property and in Ka'anapali was fantastic! The pool and beach were beautiful and were within a few steps of the condo. We rented snorkel gear for the week at the hut on the property and snorkeled at the reef just down the beach (very short walk on the beach). It was amazing...lots of fish and we saw a large turtle! The beach walkway was great for morning walks, and we enjoyed coffee/breakfast on the balcony at the condo each morning. We saw a beautiful sunset from the balcony, too! The food & drinks at Castaway Cafe were very good and the staff on the property were very friendly. Communication with the property management was excellent and thorough. Only a four minute drive to Whalers Village in Lahaina...great shops & restaurants (property offers a shuttle, as well) and 10 min. drive to Kapalua. We didn't want to leave...everything was perfect! We would definitely stay here, again! Thank you!

Perfect Location for a Family

Our family of four spent two weeks at the condo and it lived up to all of our expectations. The location is amazing and it had all of the amenities that our family needed. It was spacious and clean, and the laundry machine was a definite plus! We usually rent beach chairs and bring our own beach towels so the fact that the condo was stocked with those items (along with beach umbrellas and cooler bags for the beach) was a huge plus! The management team was excellent and extremely communicative, keeping us in the loop every step of the way and answering all of our questions within minutes of texting them. We had an issue with some of the pillows in the condo (we are allergic to down) and when we texted them about it, they went and bought 4 new pillows for us and dropped them off that day. They definitely go the extra mile! We will definitely be back in the near future. Mahalo!

Wonderful condo and great location

I hesitate to write this review because I want to keep this place a secret. Prior to the trip. Team Stice responded to my questions almost immediately. Condo was wonderful. Check-in was easy and the people behind the front desk are incredibly friendly and helpful. Entering the unit the first time, the air conditioning was already turned on, which was a nice touch. Kitchen is well appointed. Beds are comfortable. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was nice to have. The property is well maintained. Lounge chairs are available on the lawn. The beach is sandy with no rock or coral near the shore, perfect for taking a dip. We saw turtles swimming by every day. Lot of great restaurants nearby, but Castaways on the property is a solid casual restaurant with live music every other night. I had a great stay and look forward to coming back.

My Happy Place

This was a lovely condo. It had everything that we needed and then some. The unit has lots of space. It also has a stackable washer and dryer.šŸ˜ƒMy sister and I had a wonderful time! There is great snorkeling by black rock. The Castaway restaurant has wonderful food. I am on the plane headed home and I can't wait to come back!

Close to everything, but quiet!

Comfortable, well set up with good beds, couch and patio furniture were comfortable. Kitchen was good. Bathroom set up is different, toilet is not handicap accessible. Closet doors are broken, bathroom toilet door was broken. Those were not deal breakers, but just showed lack of maintenance and care. You will need to park and walk and carry everything about the length of 2 football fields and go up a flight of concrete stairs. Pool is nice. Beach access was nice, there were dolphins playing 10ā€™ off shore one morning and a curious sea turtle another morning. Air conditioning was tricky as it flips off if you access the patio and donā€™t close the door perfectly. We had to reset it several times. Not a good long term stay place, but okay for a few days.

Very well equipped with supplies, including beach chairs, beach umbrellas, soft cooler and beach toys. Comfortable beds and decor. The only thing that would have made our stay more comfortable was more places to sit and relax. The fold out couch was great for our kid to sleep on but not comfortable as a couch and it would have been nice to have plush lounge chairs with footrests on the lanai instead of dining table chairs.

We love the location as it is close to walking trails, great restaurants and tons of activities. The pools were great and never seemed crowded. The only downfall that I can mention is that parking can sometimes be a challenge, but we always seemed to find a place to park. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others.
