Nice location, good amenities

Good overall, pool needs a little maintenance but still good. Not good for anyone with mobility issues due to many levels in house. Nicely located in quite location near many beaches.

We had a great time! The pool was used most of our trip! Pool table, the pool house were a great touch. The only issue was the freezer never really froze our ice pops. It kept ice cold though. Would definitely return! Thanks for the memories!

Loved the house a little older w some clean up and lacking the bare minimal(1) like trash bags,(1) paper towels and (3)toilet paper. The stove has to be lit by a lighter kinda scary and we had no pot holders!! But worth the small lacking amenities for the large home, beautiful pool, indoor jacuzzi and convenience to the beach in a wonderful neighborhood would recommend 4 out of 5.

Small Villa

The property is located in a nice quiet area. Close to beaches. Had plenty of room to spread out for five adults, two dogs and one teenager. My only regret is not ensuring the pool was open prior to our visit. Since it was before Memorial Day, a pool had not yet been opened. My teenager was looking forward to that. The house was clean and in good order with good and fast communication with host or through a customer service platform that is used by host. my kids joked all weekend, calling it a small villa that I rented for them to chill in.

Nice large home

Absolutely loved this house. There is a ton of space for a family to spread out. Beware, there are steps everywhere. The only issue we really had was with the dryer, it did not get hot. Hopefully that will be addressed before the next group checks in. The home looks just as pictured. We hope anyone else that books this house enjoys it as much as we did.want to consider somewhere else.

Quirky hideaway

In a neighborhood on the bay side, so nice and quiet. Beds were so comfortable! Spacious comfortable living room. House layout was quirky, several levels, think twice if you have small children. GIANT master bath with sunken tub. We didn't try it. Huge kitchen with Island, Industrial stove, two dishwashers. Swimming pool was great, lots of furniture around it, but decking near pool needs edges finished. Pool house with bathroom so you don't have to go in the house. Roof deck a nice quiet place to unwind. A couple of things would have helped us. 1. Better directions on the electronic door lock. 2. A binder with info on garbage day, how to use the stove (It was not obvious how to get the burners lit), What, if anything we were expected to do with the pool (there was an automatic vacuum robot in the pool, took us a few minutes to figure out how to get it to go) 3. A number of lightbulbs were burnt out.

Oasis of calm and privacy not too far from beach

We were three adults on a short trip. We loved the refreshing pool with plenty of outdoor furniture for lounging and a pool house with bathroom that could also probably double as an extra bedroom. We retreated to the pool when the wind was from the west on the beach and the flies were biting. The master bedroom and bath are immense, with two other bedrooms, a queen to accommodate another pair of adults and two sets of bunks. We did not use the pool table.The house has multiple sunken areas (master bedroom, living room) and multiple pool access doors so youā€™d need to be cautious with small children. There is a small rooftop deck overlooking the pool to escape to. Kitchen has a giant industrial stove, two dishwashers, microwave, spacious kitchen island. We could have used a bit more direction on how to use the electronic lock on the front door and the stove. Close to Bethany, but also away from hustle and bustle. Overall needs a bit of tlc, especially the pool edging and replacement of light bulbs but we enjoyed it and would rent again. Fridge had strong fishy smell from previous renters which cleaning crew did their best to remove with baking soda. House was very clean.

The home is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed our stay. The location was conveniently located for the beach. I would've given it a 5, but there were maintenance concerns that you should address. Someone really should replace light bulbs as many are out. On the first day, the refrigerator didn't work and needs to be replace. We lost the frozen food we had just purchased. With dogs and children, a warning should be given for the ant poison laid out throughout on the windows. Thank goodness there were matches as that was the only way to light the stove. It would've been even better if there was a long lighter available or even better yet, fix the ignitor on the stove. The handle came off on the toilet in the master bathroom but we were able to fix that and were careful when using it. Some sort of locks should be on the outside doors around the pool for safety. This is my second booking with Vacasa and didn't have a good experience. The first was a condo in February and the gas fireplace didn't work. So, not sure if this is a Vacasa concern or what.

Almost-Perfect Vacation Spot

We had a great stay overall, but there were a few issues when we arrived that seemed to be leftover from the previous guests. Numerous trash bags were piled around the full bins near the front door, clean dishes were still in the dishwasher, and some opened/unsealed food was left in the cabinets. The pool also had some glitter and dirt, plus random dice floating around. The rest of the house (bathrooms, bedrooms, linens, etc) was perfect and well-cleaned.That said, Vacasa responded quickly when I reached out, even over the holiday weekend. They sent someone the next day to handle the trash and followed up with a pool cleaner (though we had already run the robot ourselves). We had a couple of minor maintenance things during our stay, including one outside door lock we couldnā€™t figure out and a flickering shower light, but nothing that got in the way of our trip.The house itself is lovely; spacious, a very open design, and in a great neighborhood close to the beach. (All hardwood floors, so if you have foot or body pain issues, bring shoes!) The master bath felt like something out of Mt Olympus (the WINDOW!), the courtyard is peaceful, and the pool was my favorite part of the stay. We loved the billiards table in the foyer, and both of us were envious of the restaurant-grade appliances in the kitchen. Also, our dog loved it!If they tighten up the cleaning process (they sent a follow-up survey, so it seems theyā€™re on it), this place will be absolutely amazing.

Do not rent this house

***ā€¦.This home should not be rented ā€¦.looks nice in the pictures but the actual property is unsafe and unsanitary! Cancel, donā€™t go there! Upon arrivalā€¦.refrigerator smelled like dead fish, we had to take out all the shelves and drawers, threw out old smelly ice and containers, scrubbed the freezer and refrigerator, but the smell never went away. All our food ā€œnotā€ in sealed containers had to be thrown out. (see pictures) The door to the kitchen would ā€œnot lockā€, called for service and they said the door was scheduled for repair with a new door ā€œafter out stay was over.ā€ We blocked the door with a kitchen chair. (see pictures) The pool was green and filled with broken tile pool particles. Called service they sent someone to clean the pool on 2nd day of our stay. The Pool Cleaner said she did not do repairs. She told us they were to repair the broken tiling and pool edgings 2 weeks prior to our arrival. The service center said they cleaned the pool but storms caused it to be dirty? But that canā€™t be the case for the green algae on the pool, even after it was cleaned. The rubber lining around the pool and tile particles were falling into the pool any time we walk close to the water, we could not swim in the pool the entire stay, (see pictures). The poolside beach room was so musty we couldnā€™t walk inside. There were live ants and ant traps throughout the house. In the small bathroom, the window ledge was black with dead ants and ant traps. The large bathroom had ants by the Jacuzzi tub window. The 4 kitchen chair pads were sunken and stained. Most of the cloth covered pillows, sofas, and chairs were soiled and stained. The dryer had full load of used linens left in it. It took 140 minutes to dry a load of laundry. The tv remotes had no batteries, someone brought us batteries. We mentioned the locks, refrigerator, pool issue etc. she told us they donā€™t do repairs. Kitchen was unsafe because of gas burner for stove being broken, it had to be lit with a lighter. The one oven didnā€™t work at all. Kitchen was unorganized, very few pots and pans, no can opener, few utensils, ant traps and ants crawling on all kitchen counters. We had to lock away and seal tight all foods. Old food was left from previous stays. Loud noises in the pipes under the home that sounded like a flushing toilet all day and all night long. The water is so hot it will scald you if you're not aware, dangerously hot.
