Welcome to the heart of this beautiful home, where comfort and style blend seamlessly. Upon entering, you’re greeted by a cozy seating area with a flat-screen TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Just beyond, an inviting space by the indoor fireplace offers the ideal spot for gathering on cooler evenings.

The open-concept chef’s kitchen, complete with a Wolf range and top-tier appliances, including a double oven for effortless meal preparation, an ice maker to keep drinks chilled, and double dishwashers for easy cleanup after entertaining. Perfectly designed for hosting gatherings with ease and style, the Luna Rio Kitchen is a culinary haven. The large dining table nearby makes it easy to enjoy meals together, whether a quick snack or a holiday feast.

The outdoor porches are the true highlights. A large screened porch is perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks, while the spacious second-story porch offers sweeping views of the Wimberley valley, making it the ideal spot to watch sunsets and soak in the Hill Country’s natural beauty.

Each of the home’s four bedrooms is beautifully designed with an eclectic mix of style and comfort, creating a unique retreat for guests. Drift off in luxurious linens and wake up rejuvenated, ready for a day of riverside adventure or peaceful relaxation. The main level features a spacious king bedroom with a private ensuite, including a large soaking tub and steam shower for ultimate indulgence. Upstairs, you'll find three more distinct bedrooms: one queen bedroom with its own ensuite, and two additional bedrooms—one with a queen and pull-out twin, the other with two twin beds—sharing a generous Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

The outdoor spaces of this property offer a magical, immersive experience that invites relaxation and connection with nature. Begin your evening in the hot tub under a blanket of stars, or gather around the propane firepit for cozy marshmallow toasting and storytelling. The hammock grotto, nestled by the river, lets you unwind to the soothing sounds of flowing water beneath twinkling café lights.

With direct river access, enjoy peaceful mornings by the water or afternoons with your toes in the stream. The spacious yard is perfect for playing, and the covered seating area with a propane grill sets the stage for al fresco dining and memorable gatherings. All around, a sense of privacy and natural beauty make this your own personal oasis in Wimberley.

☆ ☆ STUDIO APT ☆ ☆
Just steps from the main house, the charming studio apartment offers a private retreat while still feeling very much a part of the property’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. With two queen-size beds, and full size bath, this spacious studio is perfect for additional guests or family members seeking a bit of extra privacy. The cozy seating area, complete with a TV, provides a comfortable space to unwind, while the small kitchenette is equipped with everything you need to prepare light meals or snacks.

―THINGS TO KNOW - Please read before you book―

HOUSE PRIVACY: The Main House is one of two separate units on the property, offering a private retreat while still sharing the scenic grounds. Rest assured, all of the home's amenities—including the hot tub, firepit, and grill are exclusively for your use, ensuring a peaceful and secluded experience. While other guests may be staying in the nearby unit, the house is thoughtfully positioned to offer privacy, allowing you to fully enjoy the serene surroundings and amenities.

CHECK IN TIMES: Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. You will receive a code for keyless check 2 days before your arrival. We are only able to offer an early check in if there is not a booking before yours as it takes time for our cleaners to prepare and restock the home for each stay. For this reason, we are also not able to offer a late check out when we have guests checking in the same day.

GUEST RENTAL AGREEMENT: We kindly ask all guests to sign a separate rental agreement after booking. This helps us protect both you and our property, making sure everything is in order for your stay. We’ve kept the agreement simple and straightforward, and we’re happy to answer any questions you might have about it.

CLEANLINESS: We put our heart and soul into ensuring the space is sparkling clean and ready for your stay! We invite you to make yourself at home and show our space the same love and care you would your own. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to keep it pristine for every guest, and we're excited for you to enjoy it! Just a friendly heads-up, any cleaning beyond the ordinary might incur an extra charge.

MINIMUM AGE TO BOOK: You must be at least 25 years of age to book at Luna Rio. A photo of your government ID is required after booking and we will require you to sign a rental agreement.

WELL & SEPTIC: Our home offers the charm of rural living with the convenience of proximity to local attractions. As we rely on well and septic systems, we gently remind guests to be mindful when using sinks and bathrooms. For those not accustomed to well water, you might occasionally notice a sulfur scent. Rest assured, this is completely harmless, and our filters and water softeners are designed to minimize any odors, although a hint of it may still linger at times.

CRITTERS: Our house is in the beautiful Texas countryside, and like many homeowners around here, we have regular pest control to keep critters and bugs at bay. However, every now and then, a few might sneak in. It's pretty rare, but we just wanted to give you a heads-up that it's part of country living!

DAMAGE PROTECTION: Your booking includes coverage for accidental damage during your stay, because we understand that sometimes things happen. We kindly ask that you let us know if anything is damaged, so we can take care of repairs or replacements as needed.

INSURANCE: Given the unpredictable nature of our world, we strongly suggest considering travel insurance to safeguard against any unexpected events. Our cancellation policy is firmly in place, so insurance can offer you peace of mind and protection. For those exploring travel insurance options, InsureMyTrip and Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection are two providers you might look into. Please note, we don't have any direct ties or endorsements for these companies; we're just pointing out some avenues you might consider.

―FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS―
Q: What is the max number of overnight guests?
A: The Main house at Luna Rio comfortably accommodates up to 13 overnight guests with the existing bed layout. We do allow up to 4 additional guests, who can be accommodated on air mattresses, for a fee of $60 per person, per night. This additional fee helps cover the added wear and tear, increased cleaning costs, and other expenses associated with hosting larger groups. Your larger group must be communicated before booking.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: We absolutely adore pets and are happy to be a pet friendly home. The max amount of pets on the property during reservation are 2 and they must be on the reservation so that the pet fee is appropriately added. This fee covers the additional cleaning involved in hosting pets and goes directly to our cleaners. You must also abide by our pet rules.

Q: Can I host an event or celebration at Luna Rio?
A: Our property offers a beautiful setting for memorable events, and we’re happy to consider hosting yours! All events require pre-approval, with details on the type of event, event fee (starting at $500), and event insurance. Please note that in order to have an event on this property you must book the entire estate which includes the cabin also on the property. You can find this listing on my profile. For groups over 20 guests, an additional $25 per guest fee applies, subject to adjustment based on the event’s nature. Please reach out with your plans, and we’ll gladly discuss options to ensure everything runs smoothly. Kindly note that unapproved events are strictly prohibited and will incur a fine. By far the best vacation home we have stayed in. The decor is stunning and the fully stocked chef’s kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. So many areas for everyone to spread out in. Especially enjoyed morning coffee on the upstairs deck watching the deer and taking in the beautiful views. Grandkids loved wading in the river which was a short walk. Wimberly is such a pretty town. Made some great memories for our family. Thanks to the host for creating such a special place!

This was our first time back to the Blanco in over 10 years and this house did not disappoint. First class all the way. Everything was well thought out and the location on the river was perfect. The communication with our host was excellent too. Highly recommend!!

GREAT TRIP

We had our 2nd girls trip at this home. It’s absolutely fabulous. We had a great trip. Lots of laughs and quality time. I spend a lot of timeOn the screen in back porch. Took my pup. She is a country girl and loves loves loves the country. I can’t wait to return !!
