This spacious one bedroom condo sleeps four people comfortably. Step off your private lanai (patio) onto plush green grass for a short few steps to a beautiful heated swimming pool, surrounded by colorful tropical foliage. Then, take a few more steps through more tropical bliss to the calm clear Pacific Ocean. The Kuleana offers more than just a place to stay, it helps you explore, play or relax during your Maui vacation.

Our main goal is for you to have the most enjoyable vacation possible, and with that in mind, we provide our guests with many amenities for their convenience and comfort. We have everything you will need for a wonderful stay including:

* Fully equipped kitchen with culinary supplies including place settings, pots/pans and all utensils.
* Full size refrigerator and stove/oven, toaster, microwave and other appliances.
* Fully furnished separate living/dining area with cable TV and DVD.
* Additional cable TV in bedroom.
* New memory foam queen mattress in bedroom.
* Beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler and freezer packs right in your condo.

Kuleana Resort is situated right on the ocean and has beautiful lush, tropical foliage and pristine landscaping. While you are here you can explore the amazing sea life in the private snorkel area, play tennis on our regulation tennis courts, or relax beachside or poolside and soak up the Maui sun.

We have perfect views for whale-watching (during the season). There is an on-site snorkeling ladder which provides easy access to the warm crystal-clear ocean. The property also has a beautiful private sandy beach. In addition, the famous beaches and golf courses of Kaanapali, Kapalua and Napili are nearby.

There is also an on-site activities desk where you can book tours and island activities.

We absolutely loved our stay! We had a view of the ocean, we saw sea turtles everyday, and even did some snorkeling. It was nice not to have to drive to a beach when we wanted to swim or snorkel. We could just walk out our back door and the beach was just steps away.

Location was quiet, close and beautiful small complex! Beach was rocky and sandy and so beautiful. Pool was awesome and never crowded! Condo well stocked for cooking! Kitchen and bathroom nicely done, bed comfortable and sofa not so comfortable. My only disappointment was found a couple things not as clean as I would like and some of the decor could be more fresh and current.

Always a beautiful place to stay. I little bit different this time with a few displaced Lahaina locals staying there. Kinda of felt like we came back to the Island to soon after the fire. A bit of a different vibe. I think I'll give it a couple more years before I go back.

Perfect location and beautiful views!

Grounds were quiet and beautiful, and only a few minutes away from amazing Kaanapali and Napili beaches. The property has an amazing view - we saw lots of turtles relaxing on the shore and whales in the distance. Also loved that parking was free since that's hard to come by at most accommodations on the island. The unit itself is pretty dated, but it's really not an issue if you, like us, aren't planning on spending much time in the room.The only con we have is the pull-out couch. The listing says it can sleep four, but really it's only three - if that. We thankfully only needed to sleep one other person which is good because the pull-out would not have been able to support two. After the second night, our party on the couch opted to sleep on it not pulled-out since it was far more comfortable that way. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay! If we go back just the two of us, we would definitely revisit this listing!

This place was very nice, clean all the amenities and beautiful view. Neighbors were wonderful and friendly. Pool right outside the patio and views of the ocean. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay

This condo was an absolute gem for our Maui getaway. The property perfectly matched the listing's description and photos. We loved the stunning landscaping and the added bonus of a small beach during our stay. Communicating with both the property management and owner was easy. We highly recommend this lovely condo for couples or small families seeking a memorable Maui vacation. We would love to go back!

beautiful location, unit was filthy and air conditioning was broken

The Kuleana resort is amazing, grounds are immaculate, pool is very nice, staff is nice, the property management company was easy to deal with. There is a nice but small beach area where we saw turtles. Would recommend the resort. The unit was very dirty, needs some serious TLC, and the air conditioning was broken. Management company responded right away when we called about the air conditioning not working, but it needed to be replaced which couldn't be done during our stay. Make sure you confirm the air conditioner has been replaced before booking if air conditioning is important to you.

Property was great getting the parking pass was the only hassle. First night nobody onsite plane was late then nasty note on windshield and nobody there u til later that day! If nobody is available you should be a bit less nasty about parking pass but everything else was perfect thank You!

My favorite place to stay on Maui

Thi sis my third time staying at the Kuleana Resort. The staff was friendly and always greeted you when they passed by. The grounds were immaculate, as was my unit. I didn't use the grill this time, but upon inspection it was clean and ready to go. I received two calls from the management company. Once a few hours after I checked in asking if the check process went smooth, it did. I was also able to check in early. Then about midway through my stay to make everything was to my liking. They have everything you need for a great stay. Dollie's is a local hang out that has good food, and fair prices. The staff was great too! It's maybe a mile north of the resort, next to it is Miso Phat, a great sushi place. They do not serve alcohol, but you can go next door and drink it with your meal. I didn't see any children and I was okay with that, but that doesn't they weren't there. All and all, this is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. And be sure to check out Slaughterhouse Beach. The best beach on Maui! Mahlo, Quinton

Great location, disappointing accommodations, and an ADDITIONAL FEE.

Prior to arrival, I messaged the owner asking if we were able to check in early, but unfortunately I had to jump through another hoop and contact the property manager, Maui Condo and Home (no number was provided by the owner). We were dealing with an exhausted toddler, so we thought it would be a reasonable request since it was less than an hour before check in, but didn't even bother doing the research to find the number since I had to help with our little one. Problems: 1. Dirty dishes, cutting boards, and silverware 2. Updated shower is not updated. Hopefully they can update it by providing a showerhead that isn't supposed to be used at the local beach showers. 3. Poor communication between renters and property management company. Left a message regarding a missing ceiling fan remote and issues with operability, but never was recontacted. 4. Extremely dangerous tile on the lanai (patio) due to how slippery it gets when wet 5. No beachtowels provided to dry off appropriately at beach or pool Lastly, we were disappointed when we were charged $63 for numerous towels and bed linen that were supposedly stained. Due to extensive construction on the west side, there is a lot more red dirt than normal and it is affecting the condos along the lower road. Because of the red dirt sticking to visitors' feet, white towels are subsequently being stained. Sadly, this owner and property management company will continue to charge renters extra as long as red dirt is in the air.

Great complex, excellent for snorkelling

Good location, very well maintained complex with BBQs, pools, amazing sunsets and small but nice beach (some rocks and sand)- perfect for snorkelling and watching sunsets. Apartment is fully equipped with everything you need. Missing the BBQ utensils and sun umbrella (which not work). AC cools only the bedroom, but the ceiling fan and the draft from the patio door did the trick in the living room. Be careful using the bathroom towels- we got charged $20 after the trip for a small stain on one of the towels (must have been from the sandy feet). Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Quite little oasis on the Pacific Ocean

This is a Beautiful property! Great location right on the Pacific Ocean and quite! The condo is clean and well stocked with everything you need for an extended stay! We loved watching the turtles and snorkeling was amazing! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

Great location! The kitchen had everything we needed, there was plenty of parking available. Only problem was the sink didn’t drain well in the bathroom. Besides that every thing was wonderful. Highly recommend 😊

Everything was good except that the website advertised a King Bed, but it was only a queen.

I called twice to confirm it was a King Bed and was assured it was, however upon arrival the bedroom only had a queen bed. The resort was wonderful and the room was nice.

My husband and I came to Maui on our honeymoon and fell in love with the island. We came back every year for our anniversary and decided it was time to 'get a place of our own.' We wanted to share our love of the island by offering our home to honeymooners and families. There is nothing like staying in a hale pupupu ('home away from home'). We looked at many properties, but none of them gave us that warm feeling. The last day of looking we found this place and fell in love immediately! The condo was perfect and the grounds are amazing. We instantly knew this was the one for us, and we hope it will be the one for you as well.
