Your Modern & Cozy Avalon Retreat Clearwater Beach Awaits You!

Thank you Carolyn, aleays a pleasure to host you. Warm regards, Dana

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the apartment, the pool access, and your stay overall. It was truly a pleasure hosting you, and we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. You were a wonderful guest, and we would be delighted to welcome you back anytime.

Thank you for your review. We are glad you found the condo cute, but we would like to clarify several points for future guests. Regarding the bedroom TV, the TV itself was working. You were unfamiliar with how to use the remote, and a friend had to come to the property to assist you. You were actually trying to operate the bedroom TV using the remote for the living-room TV. Regarding your foot injury, when you reported the issue, we immediately asked you to send pictures or offered to have someone come and inspect the area. You told us there was no need, and we never received any pictures or further information from you at the time. We also need to address occupancy. The reservation was made for two registered guests, yet the property was used by three additional people. This exceeded the number of registered occupants and was not authorized. We did not want to leave a negative review, but we also had to consider the difficulties during your reservation. We repeatedly requested the required short-term rental agreement and documents, which are clearly stated as a pre-arrival requirement in the listing. Despite several requests, these were not provided until only two days before check-in. When the documents were finally sent, they were intentionally sent several times one after another, which was unnecessary and disruptive, more like a mock or a trivial joke. Unfortunately, some guests can feel entitled to special treatment and, at times, treat small property owners disrespectfully or abusively. We are independent owners who put considerable time and effort into maintaining our property and providing guests with a good experience. We believe that the same respect and consideration expected from the host should also be extended to the host by guests. We always try to be fair and professional, and we believe reviews should reflect the complete experience and the responsibilities of both the guest and the host.
