Telluride Riverfront House with Mountain Views

Located on the east end of Telluride, with the San Miguel River running through its backyard, this beautiful 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath house is located on the river walk hiking trail and less than a mile from the center of historic Telluride, a town known for its local charm, renowned shops and delicious restaurants.

This home's location and size is perfect for those wanting to participate in the numerous festivals Telluride has to offer. A quick walk or bike ride brings you straight into the center of Town Park where you have access to one of Colorado's most beautiful venues.

If it is skiing you are looking for, an 8th of a mile walk to the Galloping Goose Shuttle will provide free transportation or town parking options to the Gondola and up to Mountain Village.

We often recommend a Ski Valet service to come to the home to assist our guests with their Ski Rentals and fittings so the first day on the slopes can be as smooth as possible. Please be sure to ask our manager for their contact information.

The home's prime location is just the start as the house itself boasts unique decor in keeping with its mountain setting, while featuring all of the desired modern amenities and stunning views you expect from a beautiful upscale mountain home.

We do not allow events or large gatherings of any kind. Thank you for understanding that our plumbing and utilities are not built for such level of service.

We were a group of nine and had a wonderful week staying here. The house itself is gorgeous, spacious and well outfitted. Very comfortable for 8 adults though can squeeze in a ninth, or maybe even a 10th, if needed. The location is part of what makes the venue so stunning, with Mountain views from different decks and a lovely paved seating area outside, around a gas fired firepit, right alongside the San Miguel creek. Finally, Denise was very responsive and kind to us throughout our stay, helping to solve a couple of minor issues, answering questions and more. The only thing to consider for some will be the location relative to town. While not far and a lovely walk, it is between 15-20 minutes’ walk from the house to the edge of town. The house also includes a few bikes guests can use. Thank you!

Beautiful property in Telluride!

This property was absolutely fantastic for our family. We had 8 adults and had more than enough space in the living room and patio to spread out and enjoy the views! The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and spacious. We loved sitting on the deck or by the river during the afternoons and by the firepit at night. We loved the easy 20 minute walk into town along the river path and we also used the bikes in the garage. The along the river were absolutely breathtaking. We booked breakfasts at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time and the house gave us superior access to the town and hiking trails and had a terrific view. It was also well equipped with an excellent kitchen. We had a couple of hiccups but the manager and the maintenance folks were super responsive. It is a unique place.

Family Ski Vacation

We had an amazing vacation. The home was beautiful, exactly as described and shown in the listing. The location was on the outskirts of town in a quiet neighborhood that offered privacy and spectacular views. Betsy was a terrific host! We are looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect Family House - Beautiful Views

We will rent this house again. The description is very accurate. Highly recommend. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. All of the furniture is comfortable. The bed linens were nice and the mattresses were very comfortable as were the pillows. The property has amazing views. The hot tub was well maintained. We are regular visitors to Telluride so being a little outside of town was not a problem since we had a car. In spring summer and fall you would not need a car since it would be an easy walk to town. The house manager was quick to answer all of our questions. Plus there were extra nice quality towels and extra condiments in the pantry so we didn’t have to buy some basics. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful family stay

We had a wonderful stay at this family home. It was spacious, while also being cozy and comfortable. The view of the falls was breathtaking. The communication was excellent with the caretakers. They were kind and helpful. The home was close to the town of Telluride, while also being private. Since it was the summer, it was convenient to be there. We took a gondola ride from town to explore mountain village. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic River Retreat!

Once In A Lifetime Stay!

The house, the host, the views, the location…you couldn’t ask for more! We were three families who traveled from all over to meet up for the week and were blown away by everything this home offered, and how beautiful and comfortable it was for both kids and adults. Perfect for entertaining, hopping to town, but also secluded enough to feel like we were in the Rockies. We were also impressed and how responsive the host was throughout the entire prep and stay. Couldn’t recommend more highly and can’t wait to go back!

Great house that is well appointed, comfortable and worked really well for two families with small children. Very attentive manager who dealt quickly with relatively small problems that arose during trip. Note as of July 2023, there is a considerable amount of construction in the neighborhood including a house directly across the driveway that produced substantial construction noise and dust, music, and car truck traffic during the work day. I wish I was made aware of this unpleasant condition prior to the rental. Based on the current status of construction, I would expect the work to last thru the summer 2023.
