Fabulous apartment with everything you could possibly need. Top notch for cleanliness. Super comfy beds. A wonderful short break. Fantastic terrace with comfortable seating.Would highly recommend this place.

Nice apartment good size safe gated entrance Very well equipped if you wanted to self caterPosition Good if able to walk but with prams and wheelchair would proof problematic to get cross to the beach and town centre Highly recommend Geranium restaurant- amazing food Bono beach club was exceptional

Thanks for your review Jill. I was please to arrange the early check in, free of charge, and also pleased you realised how suitable the apartment is for a self catering holiday.. that is exactly what it is designed for, and loved, by so many previous guests. I am surprised by your comments regarding prams etc. We have never had this feedback from any of the many families who have stayed with us. Quite the opposite in fact, and intriguing as you didn't have a pram or wheelchair. The entire route to La Cala is wheelchair friendly, including the elevated walkways. .. The building itself also has ramps.. . I did not realise you had mobility issues, but could have arranged a scooter had you let me know during your stay.

Excellent accommodation, good communication, would highly recommend, near to local supermarket, lots of restaurants nearby and easily walkable. Really good pool and walkable to the beach.

Communication was excellent throughout. Nothing ever too much trouble.Apartment 10 minute walk into town. Ideal for restaurants and beach.Supermarket opposite provided ideal facilities for food and drink.Pool was fine. Ideal to relax in.Would recommend the taxi services. Regular and reasonable.Air con was superb.Thanks for a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

Extended Stay

We loved it so much we stayed longer. Great location, close to buses for travel, shopping and center of town as well as the beach. Good location for restaurants .

Just as advertised and everything we needed! Very walkable with lots of restaurants nearby. Lidl across the street for groceries. We loved the big veranda balcony for morning coffee every day. John was a wonderful host who was very responsive to all queries!

Super apartment in La cala Mijas

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for a week and found it a great place to stay ,close to all amenities and bus stop etc.John and Brian are very attentive and helpful which really made our holiday.Thanks Guys.

Mijas revisited

Lovely place to stay. Great location to beach and stores. Very walkable area. Condo is in good shape. You can sit out on the patio and watch the world go by. Good ocean view. John was wonderful to work and available if needed. We liked it so much we extended our stay for another week or so . Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, Thanks for all you do

Fabulous stay , great location. Short walk to the beach and Lidl opposite for everything you need Apartment was super clean and had lots of extras in the kitchen which were appreciated . Every detail was thought of including beach towels and welcome beers ! John and Brian the hosts were wonderful , check in details were easy for our driver and being met by John to show us around is always five star for me. They were both very kind to us and thoughtful. We would stay again . With grateful thanks to both .

La Cala

We had a wonderful 12 days staying here . The apartment was private , secure and had everything we needed . It was walking distance to everything . Beach , town , bars and restaurants. The hosts John and Brian were awesome and were lifesavers the day of the power cuts throughout Spain . Not all super heroes wear capes . Would definitely recommend and we will be back as soon as we can .

The apartment was exactly as described! Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. I had travelled with 2 girlfriends, and the apartment was ideally located for the supermarket and an easy walk to the beach and town. Easily accessible too are nearby restaurants and bars. The pools and setting of the apartments are very well kept. John was so helpful leaving us all WiFi and other details. Even a bottle of cava was in the fridge. I would highly recommend this apartment and I would definitely stay again.

Perfect host and perfect apartment

I’ve rented a few holiday lets from vrbo but this host was probably the best. They sent me a google pin of the place, the written address and a picture of the gate I needed to access. The owner met us with the key and gave us a walk through and a list of local restaurants etc. I’m not exaggerating when I say the apartment had EVERYTHING from shower gel, mozzy plugs dish soap even coffee pods!!! Ideally located 10 mins walk to a nice choice of bars and restaurants and 15 mins walk to the bustling la Cala village where you’ll find no end of bars and restaurants and an amazing beach. Pool really nice tooIf I was coming to this area again I would 100% book this apartment again

Location, location.. This property checks all of the boxes from check in to check out…. Located within a short walk to sea and its wonderful boardwalk we enjoyed walking everyday, along with lunch and beverage at one of the local chiringuitos. Everything is within walking distance, & local transportation is close by as well eliminating the need for a car, however ample parking on street if one was chosen ; a well stocked grocery store across the street was a nice plus. Although we did not golf on this vacation, there are several golf courses in the vacinity .. From the time we booked John was very helpful and responded to any pre-vacation questions we had. At arrival, he met us at the property to give us the lay of the land along with a lovely couple of bottles of wine and water. During our holiday, he and Brian were always ready to help with any questions we had. The condo, has all the amenities one needs on holiday, a nicely appointed kitchen, large outdoor deck, great wifi service and if so chosen, a smart tv. There is also a lovely pool however we never used it favouring the sea view. Check out was also seamless. Overall the condo is a great place to stay, for a reasonably priced, relaxing winter getaway! Excellent communication from John before and during our stay. The apartment is very well located about 10 minutes walk from the beach and the main town of La Cala and right next to a big supermarket, a lovely bodega and some great restaurants. The apartment is one of the larger 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments we have stayed in and has a fantastic balcony with a large table and chairs as well as sofas and a coffee table. The beds have good mattresses and are very comfy. WiFi is great, TV has a good selection of international channels. There is a helpful selection of bathroom and kitchen products including a great hairdryer. The apartment also includes 2 chairs and 2 sunbeds, rugs and beach towels which can be used at the pool area. Absolutely loads of bathroom towels provided as well. The pool was very well looked after. Set in beautiful gardens so plenty of shade as well as sunny spots if you are there for the day. There is a lifeguard on duty most of the opening period if needed. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would book again in the future.

John was the perfect host; very easy to communicate with from the very start. He welcomed us at the property upon arrival at 10.30pm. The property itself was very well appointed and John went above and beyond, providing many little extras which we thought was a nice touch and have never experienced that before. . We enjoyed having breakfast on the large terrace which also housed comfortable, relaxing furniture. The apartment is set in lovely gardens with access to two pools is well positioned for all amenities. Lydl was just across a minor road and the bus stop is at the bottom of the road. The beach was about a ten walk over the footbridge where you could find lots of eateries. We really enjoyed a relaxing holiday here and would definitely recommend it.

Apartment was very clean and had everything you could possibly want. Lots of lovely touches that you wouldn't expect: cotton buds, toiletries in both bathrooms, tea-lights for the terrace, beach towels, hairspray, insect repellent to name a few.Both John and Brian were excellent hosts and messaged throughout our stay to make sure we were OK.Supermarket, bars and restaurants were on the doorstep so car not necessary, but nice if you want to explore the area.
