"Romantica" - Kaibo Condo C22 is a beautiful condo located in the heart of the Cayman Kai community, a world-renowned vacation destination in Grand Cayman.

This boutique-style ground floor unit was built in 2005 in the newest phase of Kaibo Yacht Club i.e. Phase II and is situated on the white pristine beaches of the Cayman Kai/Rum Point area of the Cayman Islands.

Enjoy the privacy of the ground floor with fantastic views of the beautiful Caribbean sea and easy access right at your doorsteps. Romantica has all of the modern conveniences for your pleasure and enjoyment including wireless internet access, large flat screen televisions in every room, Westar satellite, DVD player, land line, fully stocked kitchen.

From the moment you open the door, Romantica provides a relaxing, zen like feeling of a home away from home. A modern yet cozy interior, with luxurious Italian furniture, a large open concept principle room, a gourmet fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops for your favorite meals, grand screened lanai for any size dinner party. Two bedrooms each with king sized beds can easily accommodate up to four people.

Just steps from your door, the well maintained infinity saline water pool and hot tub is yours to enjoy day and nigh. Sun-bathe in the many hammocks or lounge chairs, take a walk alone the kid friendly beach shore and dine at the Kaibo Bar and Restaurant next door with tropical music to liven the mood.

Guests of Romantica- Kaibo Condo C22 also have private access to a storage unit that holds 2 bicycles, an umbrella for protection from the sun and various snorkel gear, all for their exclusive use.

Very nice condo, even a few staple essentials in the kitchen. That was very helpful since the cost of food was very high on the island. The condo is beautiful and comfortable. Management and owner very accessible and friendly. We had a delightful week!

BEACHY KEEN!

Such a fun time with quiet nights and the soft music of Kaibo around dinner time to listen to on the covered patio! we loved the view, the neighbors, pool and hot tub an did a little kayaking and snorkeling too! Love this place and would recommend hightly for all of its amenities. one thing we were missing was an extra key that was noted upon arrival but other than that - this place had everything needed!

Location is great, away from cruise ships and tourist traps. You need a rental car if you are staying out here. Some good spots to eat and drink nearby. Dock for snorkel trip is 60 yards away. Condo was very clean and bed was very big and comfortable. Good Wi-Fi and Tv. I would stay here again, no doubt

Romantica was perfect! We were a group of 4 Adults and the condo worked out perfectly for us. The kitchen was equipped well and the furnishings were beautiful. The cleaning woman were great and they did a fantastic job the day we arrived. I would definitely recommend this unit!

Perfect Location

We had a fantastic time staying here with our 9 month old daughter. The location of the unit is amazing, right on the sand and steps away from the water, and the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. The ferry to Camana Bay stops right outside too, which we took one day to walk over to 7 mile beach (where we've usually stayed), but we loved coming back to this incredibly serene side of the island. We'll definitely be staying again. (The only downside was the casual dining at Kaibo closes at 7pm and the Rum Point restaurant is closed, so the walkable dining options are limited...but that was fine with a baby!)

Happy Place

Our second stay in this property. We love this location. Quiet, beautiful, and great beach access. Love being able to step out the door and be on the beach. Ideal for young children. Great to have the kayaks and bikes as well. You do need a car for this location and I would not suggest to anyone who wants lots of activity at night. Decor is slightly dated but definitely comfortable with all the things needed. We hated to leave and hope to return soon!

Romantica, Rum Point

Beautiful place , well stocked and views of the sunset from your window. Use of Kayaks a nice touch, close to Starfish Bay, a real find. Loved the pool and so easy to go on boat trips. Only issue was that the owner did not tell us the apartment number, only worked it out from the Wi-Fi password, with the neighbours help. Would have been useful!

Perfect peaceful location

The condo was perfect for us. It was my husband and I and our 17 year old daughter. We especially loved the screened in porch and had our morning coffee and evening cocktails there. The unit was clean and well equipped and even provided beach towels. Having the restaurants within steps was perfect. We ate next door several times. The pool was lovely. The residents/renters were friendly. You might spot cool sea life in the bay like we did: Star fish, rays and jelly fish! Many excursions leave from the dock at the condo and bioluminescent bay is super close. Highly recommend Cayman Kayaks for that (go on the boat). Youā€™ll need to rent a car if you stay here. You wonā€™t regret staying at Kaibo.

Great Unit

I loved this unit. It's on the frst floor and you can access the beac from your door. The furniture was comfortable and any issues were proptly addressed. I love the Rum Point area away from the craziness of 7 mile. Rum punch and the sunset on the each day says it all!! Another point is there is plenty of shady areas most of the day on the beach. The only thing I would change is adding a small dining table inside as we didn't really like eatng on the screened porh or at the bar. A great place for a magical vacation.

Wonderful start to the New Year

We had a wonderful week at Kaibo! Loved being able to walk right out on the beach each morning and have the pool only steps away too. The unit had everything we could need. Wonderful to have the kayaks and bikes to use too! This is my favorite area to stay on the island quite and beautiful but love having Kaibo close by for lunch and dinners plus other places aren't that far away. Very happy to not be in the thick of all the crowds on seven mile beach though. If you want a wonderful special occasion meal though, you can't beat the upstairs restaurant at Kaibo. It is amazing and then you can just stroll home to condo on the beach. Hope to return. I wonderful spot!

Peaceful wonderful trip

We had such a good time here at Kaibo. It was quiet and peaceful. I loved loved sting ray city. Letticia was awesome always answered my questions quickly. The room is gorgeous. The beds are comfortable. Make sure you take bug spray ! The mosquitos are bad! Get your groceries in Georgetown. highly Recommend

Really nice condo beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay. This condo is very nice and well taken care of. The condo is spacious, has plenty of utensils, nice appliances, and the Beds were SUPER comfortable, which is my #1 priority on the trip. The dock in front of the condo made it super easy to board or chartered sail boat tour. Lastly, the beach restraint next door was awesome!

Wonderful, laid back location!

I would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a more relaxed Cayman experience. The pictures are a true depiction of this lovely condo, and the beach, palm trees, hammocks, everything is made for relaxation! The beach bar is a nice bonus for when you don't want to cook, and the beautiful rum bar upstairs is a luxurious splurge. The icing on the cake is the use of the bikes and kayaks. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it highly! This only thing to consider is if you are looking for a beach with big ocean waves, this is not it. It is a calm, protected bay, so be sure you are okay with that. We took the water taxi over to 7-mile beach to check that block.

Stressful check in but overall nice property

Our stay to Grand Cayman started pretty stressful. The day before our trip, we still had not received the address or check in information. We had reached out to the owner via HomeAway, but when we did not get a response, we contacted HomeAway customer service. They also were not able to get a hold of the owner; after several calls made to customer service, we were provided a direct e-mail to request the necessary information. We did not receive the address until after we already were in Grand Cayman (the map on HomeAway does not take you to the correct location). Once we arrived, we found the unit to be well-equipped. The interior was decorated nicely and the kitchen well-appointed. The patio furniture was a little worn. One thing to note which is not a reflection on the owner is that a public beach is next door. Through the entire stay, we noticed people parking at the public beach, then walking onto the private beach and using the chairs and pool area. There werenā€™t a lot of chairs to begin with, and with non-guests monopolizing what chairs there were, there were many times you wonā€™t have a seat on the beach.

Grand Cayman Kaibo Getaway

If you like the more laidback style of vacationing, this is the place! Away from the cruise ship docks and more pricey tourist trap shops, this place is on a small, beautiful bay with generally very calm and warm waters. It's a great ground floor unit with a screened-in, walk out patio that steps right out onto the sand and takes you either to the bay water in about 35 seconds or the pool in about 25. The pool is fantastic to cool off in without being so cold you want to hop out in 2 minutes. The attached hot tub is amazingly nice in the morning to get the kinks out from the day before. It was actually hot like ours at home.!!! Just passed the pool was a great little restaurant where you could eat inside or outside, that had great food including our favorites of tacos, salsa and guac, fish and chips, and wood fired pizza. On the land side of the complex was a perfect little parking lot where we parked our rental directly in front of the unit. The place is nicely furnished, very well equipped including ice maker, which we learned from talking to another couple we met there, not all the units have. A ton of things to do very close by including Rum Point for eating and some very good snorkling on the right side of the pier as you face the water. We went to Sting Ray City which is one of the most spectacular things to do on the planet.!!! We've been 3 times. Also we did the Dolphin Swim thing which is a very close second to the sting ray thing. We did some exploring in the car and found some other very great places to snorkle. We just googled on the phone " best places to snorlke in grand cayman " Also, our phones GPS had no trouble guiding us to wherever we chose to go. Also found some fun little places to shop and eat. And also, don't miss out on the Chrystal Caves.!!! Fantastic.!!! And the Turtle Farm. !! It's right acrosss from the Dolphin place and you get to swim with friendly, touchable turltes.!!! And if you like the hype and party style sometimes, then 7 mile beach was only a 35 min drive to go hang out there, which we did a couple times. Beautiful.! Remember to take your bug spray for mosquitoes at night and that the driving is on the opposite side as that in the US and so is the driver's area of the cars. We will be back.!!!

Great place and perfect for our young family. using the kayaks and going exploring over to starfish point was perfect. Not a fan of the restaurant next door and felt it was very overpriced for the average or below average you received even after factoring the beautiful location.
