Wish we could have stayed longer...
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paradiso Perduto and wish we could have stayed for a month! The attention to detail in terms of amenities and guest comfort could not be better. We felt totally secure and never locked the door to the interior rooms or closed the windows (both doors and windows featured secure insect netting). The entrance to the property is behind remote controlled doors, each protected by gothic gargoyles!
The outdoor dining, living and kitchen area was super comfortable. When not relaxing in the hammock, we lounged on the comfortable couches or king-size bed. Any kitchen tool or appliance you might ever need was available along with a nice staple of condiments (oils, spices, etc,),
There was a nice view of the ocean, which was accessed via a short walk down a garden path that meandered between four or five villas. And the beach, which we could hear 24 hrs a day, was pristine and virtually devoid of others.
The location is definitely not for those that crave nightlife or a variety of dining establishments within walking distance. There is one restaurant, Litibu Grill, about 1/2 mile from the residence, but it was always closed when we drove by. There were a few local establishments in a town about two miles away; one of which we loved, Kilometro 5 Surf Bar and Restaurant. Great food and a fantastic vibe.
Our hosts were very responsive and friendly, although we never saw them or another soul during our stay! We sincerely hope that this residence if available the next time we return to Nayarit, Mexico.
