Located on the Caribbean in North Placencia Village. Easy to walk to the airstrip from the house (5 minutes max) and call or catch a Taxi from Tropic or Maya Island terminal...(air conditioning for your wait if necessary). Taxis can deliver you to the doorstep. The location allows quick access to the village, with your own pool, yard and gardens for seclusion. Thatched yard palapa with loungers and private seating locations around property. There are only 2 pool suites for 2 guests, and one Guest Apartment (separate listing: Pearl Beach Guest Apartment) which accommodates 4. Entire property is wonderful for family vacations; parents, grandparents, and young family in the apartment. All rooms have TV and internet. Guest Suites have large apartment refrigerators w/ freezer compartment, microwave, dishes, coffee makers, blenders toasters etc. AC in both pool suites. Separate bathroom w/ shower, toilet, mural tile walls, and large vanities w/ natural Belizean made toiletries. outdoor showers on each private verandah. Adjustable sunshades for verandah and private outdoor seating area for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Complete grocery store on the road, at the North end of the village. Wonderful caretaker and family on property. Security doors. Back yard open verandah common area w/ furnishings, ceiling fan ad WiFi. Chess set. Rent a golf cart, private covered parking for one, or use local taxi service. Pharmacy, bank ATM and larger grocery store all at the edge of the main village. 10 min away. Small planes arriving/departing from airstrip which fly down the beach; guests enjoy watching the activity which is brief, 10 seconds from the property or out on the 100ft pier that is also open for fly casting practice & fishing. Many varieties of orchids, tropical flowers, and fruit trees on property.
Many restaurants and beach bars in village and North on the peninsula. Fishing guides, Tour Guides and Dive Operators will pick you up at house. Belize has a high season and a low season. You need a passport to enter Belize. Exchange rate 1US to 2BZ, you are allowed $10,000USD cash on entry to the country. ATMs in village as well. Bring REEF SAFE sunscreens and insect repellants, both are available in the village. Bring your Rx, pharmacy in village. Poly Clinic at airstrip. Staff available 24/7 for questions or emergency. Trained staff in first aid/CPR and fire emergency. We do not arrange tours however we always have suggestions and information available in rooms Guest Books, for the entire country. Guest Laundry with washer/dryer available to all guests. Weekly housekeeping, or more frequently can be arranged, fresh towels and linens on request. Pool towels furnished. Drinking Water dispenser available in each unit. Refill station on back common verandah area. Bring your water bottle for refills. NO need to buy and carry water from stores. Tap water in Placencia is safe to drink. Do not drink tap water on arrival at BZE, purchase water in terminal for the short flight to Placencia.
