Our semi-oceanfront and sound view home is located in South Nags Head, just 1 mile south of FishHeads. Our house is located on the service road adjacent to the main road, just a 1 minute walk to the beach, offering ample space for kids to bike, skateboard, and enjoy outdoor activities safely. This street is free from the heavy traffic of the main road, which has a speed limit of just 35 mph.

Recent home renovations were completed in 2025 with new decking, all new floors, paint, light fixtures and interior doors, complete upstairs master bathroom redo w/ custom tile shower, both downstairs bathrooms updated, new hot tub and all new inside and outside furniture. The Chubby Mermaid is a 4-bedroom 3 bathroom house perfect for your escape to the beach. With 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 6 twin beds, and 1 full bed, designed to sleep 12, there's plenty of room for everyone. Enjoy the coastal living room with a cozy sofa bed for extra guests. All 3 FULL bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer, some toiletries and towels, and a shower and bathtub to ensure everyone stays refreshed. AC, WiFi, and a washer and dryer are just a few of the amazing amenities provided.

Pets, Smoking and Parties are PROHIBITED. We kindly ask that you respect our neighbors by observing quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM. Your cooperation in maintaining a peaceful environment is greatly valued.
