HOME HIGHLIGHTS:

- Across the street from the beach with access to the George and Coleman Pavilion in Seaside
- Up to 2 Wrist Bands TOTAL for private beach access (per Seaside guidelines they will not provide us with more bands than the home sleeps)

- Spacious outdoor patio with direct views of the square- Ocean views from the common space!

- Sandpiper Linen Program Participant: All linen, bedding and bath, are the highest quality.

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS:
- There is an additional cost to use the 3 pools and fitness center in Seaside. The cost for this cottage is $28/day. Please alert us after booking should you wish to add the "Seaside Amenity Passes" to your reservation.
**Optional Cancellation Protection**- Allows cancellation for ANY reason up to 48 hours in advance of stay and guarantees 50% of all monies paid returned ($50 fee applies at booking).

Serene and simplistic, this 1 bedroom/ 1.5 bath condo overlooks the town of Seaside and offers gorgeous gulf views from your own private balcony! Situated above Dawson's Yogurt in Seaside's town square, Close to Eden has a large king master suite with private bath/shower only downstairs. Also, downstairs is a half bath. Up the spiral staircase you'll find the open living room with vaulted ceilings, extra seating, and flat screen TV. Also, upstairs is a stainless kitchen with sub-zero refrigerator and bar seating for two. French doors take you out onto your private balcony overlooking the town square. Enjoy one of Seaside's theatrical or musical performances from your own private balcony or sit back and watch the sun set over the gulf. Either way, you'll be Close to Eden when you stay here!

First floor: Master Suite- King bed, ensuite bathtub/shower combo, TV, half bath
Up the spiral staircase
2nd floor: Living area with TV, chef's kitchen and dining for 2- outdoor balcony access

** There is an additional cost to use the 3 pools and fitness center in Seaside. This charge is optional with Sandpiper Vacation Rentals. The cost for this cottage is $28/day. Please alert us after booking should you wish to add the "Seaside Amenity Passes" to your reservation. Seaside requires the passes to be purchased for the entirety of your stay when ordered.
** Please note that this condo does not have a washer/dryer on site
** No pets allowed
* Additional fees are required to reserve Pickleball and Tennis courts paid directly to the Seaside amenity Center.

Perfect location

I brought my teen granddaughter to seaside for a few days. Close to Eden was the perfect location for the beach and shopping. The bicycles were also fun.

Perfect!!

We absolutely love staying at Close to Eden! This was our second visit to the condo. We absolutely love the location and it’s close proximity to food, Shopping and to the beach. The condo is very nicely decorated, always very clean when we arrive and check-in could not be easier!

Couples retreat

We loved Close to Eden for our trip! It was the best location and view. We could see the ocean from the main room and the view from the patio was amazing. We enjoyed the less than 5 minute walk to the beach and the proximity to all the shops and restaurants. Close to Eden made for a relaxing retreat for our vacation!

Best Sunset in Seaside

I've been renting places down here for 30 years and this is the best little find ever. Obviously it's small but it was just my son and I for his fall break. The sunset view from the balcony is the best I've ever seen. Right in the heart of Seaside and a pitching wedge from Bud&Alley's and Great Southern. Modica Market has everything you need. I'ts perfect just needs a better bed!

Location, location, location!!

Outstanding location in the heart of seaside! Was a great long weekend getaway local for us. The views were amazing especially for Seaside-ocean views are rare. Views from every room. Easy access to the ocean, shops and restaurants. Upgraded bathrooms were beautiful. Plenty of space for two people throughout. Challenges included: Parking (there is no dedicated parking), location for outside trash disposal (description was vague).

Nice but...

Nice unit, love the location but not as well maintained as the other units we've stayed in, in that particular building. The Unit would benefit from some minor repairs an a general interior, (and some exterior) refurbishment.

Great Location

My husband and I loved the location of this property. The view was even better than expected. The only drawbacks were the lack of a designated parking spot and also the spiral staircase is not ideal. Fortunately we are active seniors and didn’t have much of an issue. Overall we had a wonderful stay! As a side note, when checking out, I inadvertently left my medications behind under the bathroom sink. Didn’t realize it until hours later when unpacking. The wonderful staff found them, secured them, and shipped them promptly to my home back in Texas…..crisis avoided. Thanks a million!

Weekend get away

Ac was broken and they moved us to a lesser location. Truman hangout. Next day moved us in tequila Mocking bird. It was more what we were looking for. Truman needs to be remolded for 300 a night. Shade on door was damaged. Both places need new beds old and worn. tequila mocking bird. New shower curtain and shower curtain rod. Member Mark towels are wonderful. We never settled in because we had stuff planned and we had to change rooms. I understand things happen. The amount of money we sent on cleaning. I think that something else could have been done. We rented for location and the view. I would think twice before renting again.

Close to Power Wash Thursday Eden

Not worth the money spent. Needed Lots of repairs to bathrooms. Every week, including Thursday mornings at 6:15am the town power washed the sidewalks directly outside/below these condos. No noise ordinance exists for this area, according to the local police. The property manager pretended it was unusual, but it is not. Other property owners said they have been complaining for years.

Cute condo

Condo was clean and beachy with great views of the ocean and the market square. We enjoyed making breakfasts here and hanging out on the balcony looking at the ocean and people watching.However the bed was so hard and uncomfortable so we didn’t sleep well (and my husband usually likes a firm bed). I reached out to the VRBO after sleeping on the bed the first night and asked for a mattress pad or something to help. They responded quickly but unfortunately they didn’t have a mattress pad.There is no washer/dryer (as it says in the description) but we ended up needing to wear sweaters etc a couple times due to the fluctuations in weather temps here (but the closest laundromat is 20 min away). Condo is near many restaurants, shops, ice cream and a little grocery store within walking distance, food trucks, gorgeous beach with white sand. Nice walking/biking paths.

First time last time

The location of this property was great, the decor in the house was nice. However, there is no Wi-Fi and there are only smart TVs in the house so there’s no way to watch anything which was frustrating and I couldn’t do my work. When I checked in, there was a hair on one of the pillows on the bed and a hair in the shower.The AC struggled working, I was able to open windows, but then one of the windows broke which was addressed and fixed and then after that, I couldn’t get the window to stay open. There were issues with the door being able to be open from the stairs, I would have to walk back down three flights of stairs just to use the elevator, so there was a constant back-and-forth with that which was frustrating, it was my first time staying in Seaside and I will be sticking to watercolor.

Great location in Seaside

The location is very good and convenient. There was an issue with the key not working to get inside the building. We were finally able to get in after continuing to jiggle the key (this was a 20-30 minute process). We learned that this had already been an issue and they let everyone know not to lock the building. I believe they are getting an entire new lock. The condo was fine. It would have been nice had a few extras (like sugar, salt and pepper, etc.) were provided. We did use the bikes that came with the condo. We would stay here again.
