With stunning views and the best amenities on the island you will reach tranquility the moment you step through the door. Your stay includes access to the best concierge on the island, golf cart, and various indoor/outdoor games. Our goal is for you to leave feeling relaxed and full of memories. Access to the beach club and pools requires a $25/per person fee for the duration of your stay. Kids 4 and under are free. This fee is paid directly to the club, separate from your reservation.

The beach club and pools, accessible for a nominal fee ($25/per person over the age of 4, for the duration of your stay) can provide more relaxation and entertainment options during your stay.

Spend your morning sipping coffee from the stocked Keurig, drip machine or French press and then indulge in a bit of culinary creativity with the well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor deck, with its mosquito misting system and various seating areas, offers the perfect setting for al fresco dining, grilling up some Texas surf and turf, or simply soaking in the breathtaking bay sunsets.

The layout of the Tranquil Turtle, with its main gathering spaces on the first floor and 6 bedrooms, including one detached primary suite, is ideal for accommodating different preferences and activities. Whether you prefer to gather for movie nights in the spacious living room, stargaze from the sun deck using the telescope, or engage in some friendly competition with the assortment of outdoor games, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Pointe West Beach Club
The home includes access to the Pointe West Beach Club, which includes pools and hot tubs over two locations, a lazy river, wonderful restaurant, bar, and game room. Access to the beach club is $25 per person (for your entire visit), wristband and door codes provided when you check in to the Beach Club. The resort features the widest, most beautiful beaches in Galveston as well as the beach club swimming pools and hot tub facing the beach, a fitness center, game room, corn hole and gift shop.

A basketball court is a short walk or quick golf card ride past the beach club. A short ride to the bay side allows you to visit another pool, lazy river and hot tub.

Please be aware that we do allow guests to bring dogs (2 or less of any size) and we have dogs of our own that occasionally come to the home so if you have severe pet allergies please take note.

We have a security system with a doorbell camera at the front entrance. There are 2 other exterior cameras on the property that are not monitored.

Wildlife Warnings – Tranquil Turtle is located in one of the most beautiful and natural settings in Texas. This nature includes bugs and insects big and small, animals, crabs, sharks, bees, rattlesnakes and more. We have pest control and set rattlesnake traps on the perimeter of the property. Occasionally, however, nature will enter the Tranquil Turtle and should not be cause for alarm. If you have any issue with pests, please contact us immediately.
